An excellent junk store. Never expensive. Not at all impossible to find a real treasure now and then.

They keep very limited hours. I drove by several times before finally finding the place open. Had a…read morelovely conversation with who I presume was the owner, nice person indeed. I love junk shops, you never know what you'll find, and there were a few appealing items I would have obtained from the Rustic Pea Pod if the prices hadn't been higher than what they cost new. Some of the stuff sold as vintage and for rare/vintage prices is being manufactured right now. I suppose shops like this count on the average customer not knowing squat about diddly, though perhaps it's the owner who doesn't know enough or counts on eBay prices to assess values (on e-Bay you can find, any day of any week, things like a "vintage" tea light holder for $15 plus a lot of postage, when it's still manufactured a set of four for $12; or an alleged Depression Glass object that was mass-produced within the last couple years; or worthless clay poker chips sold as highly collectible bakelite). The place is cluttered and packed, yet tidily arranged, I think it gives a fine first impression of lots of cool stuff. But as you focus in closer, it's pretty much par for the course stock you'll find in any junk store, except for the furniture upon which things are arranged. The furniture is well selected and perhaps does deserve the Ritzy Antique Store rather than the Junk Store treatment & prices. Just about anyone is apt to find something they'd like to have, and it's up to each person if they want to pay rather more than the going price of things. The owner WILL negotiate. So I give it three stars despite my personal disappointment of finding pleasant little geegaws that I might have obtained but for being priced higher than makes any sense.

Very disappointed in this place. They have tons of stuff but by the prices it seems they don't want…read moreto part with anything. No regular set hours so never know for sure when they're open. Overpriced and unorganized!
