Bought 2 sets of Guitarron strings through their website. Right off the bat the strings sounded and…read morefelt 100x better than whatever was on the Guitarron. However, after about a month of playing, the C string just came unwound out of nowhere. The nylon coil separated from the nylon core. I emailed them and got a response pretty fast. Jacob said they would send me a replacement string ASAP. I got it Within a couple days. This is my first time purchasing Guadalupe Strings and I'd buy them again just for the customer service.

I contacted them to let them know what had happened, and they blamed me, they said I didn't know how to change the strings, that my instrument was to blame, that other "professional" musicians like myself didn't know how to change strings ( they referred me to a youtube video) and they didn't accept that their product was defective. I bought two sets of strings (over priced), two strings broke, and i had to mix and match from both sets to get one complete set. I wasn't asking for my money back or a new free set, i was only letting them know that their product had problems, and they were very very rude, mocking me, and blaming me for the low quality of their strings. I'm never buying from them again, i can find better quality strings anywhere else, better priced, and with better customer service.

I can't recommend Frank enough. From the very beginning, he was incredibly kind, professional,…read morethorough, and took the time to explain everything he was doing. I accidentally connected the speaker output of my amp incorrectly to a load box, which resulted in a failed power tube. Frank went through the amp thoroughly, diagnosed the problem, replaced the necessary tubes, tested everything, and kept me informed throughout the entire process. His attention to detail was incredible. He even made a YouTube video showing the diagnosis, repair, and testing of the amp, which was really cool to see and gave me even more confidence in his work. The turnaround time absolutely blew me away. I dropped the amp off on Wednesday and had it back that same Friday! I was expecting to be without it for at least a week or two. The amp is back home now and sounds absolutely incredible--strong, healthy, and like new again. It's hard to find people who are not only extremely knowledgeable at what they do, but also genuinely kind and passionate about their work. Frank went above and beyond, and I wouldn't hesitate for a second to bring another amp to him. Thank you again Frank!

I honestly could not have asked for a better person to take the amp to. Frank excels in communication, service, attention to detail, and pricing. This is truly someone who takes value in their craft and delivers outstanding quality in their work. Best of all, this amp is rippin'! If you're unsure about who to take your amp to, look no further! Forgotten Gear Restorations is the place! Thank you Frank!
