The instructor, David, has been both patient and motivating. He never makes me feel rushed, but he also holds me accountable in a way that actually helps me learn. In just a short time, I've gotten to explore songs across different genres and I feel like I'm building real skills. The atmosphere here is warm and welcoming thanks to the whole team. From my very first visit, I was greeted by name, which immediately stood out and made the space feel personal and friendly. Everyone I've interacted with has made an effort to connect, ask about my day, and make scheduling or rescheduling easy. I've also had a couple of my guitars repaired here, and the work has always been done quickly, thoroughly, and at very reasonable prices. My husband and my son are both rockers and they rave about this place - they get their equipment and misc supplies and guitars and drum sticks here - they special order unique things there too and offer excellent advice and encouragement - my guys have had multiple guitars repaired there (in literally hours!!) and they love talking music with the people that work there and always come home stoked to be able to have such a cool local shop to go to. Within a week, it was back in my hands looking shiny, clean, and practically brand new. Best of all, it plays like a dream now, thanks to Ares, the on-site luthier. The customer service here is top-notch. Elijah took the time to show me several beautiful guitars in the shop, and Ares really listened to what I wanted for my guitar, carefully explaining the restoration process step by step. As a local business supporter, I was Not happy with the way I was treated .went to do a Guitar trade which I asked the front desk person if I could do it and they said yes and when I did, I was treated like complete Shit made to feel uncomfortable and I was asked to not return after spending thousands of dollars ... I was actually asked to return as a VIP customer by Mr vez but because I deleted my review because I was treated unfairly by the young man that worked there in front I was asked not to return .I also asked for a printout of all the money that I spent there and I was also denied lol I know is not true...... just consider your options when choosing a Guitar store.... Took my Martin D-28 here to be diagnosed and repaired. My guitar had a rattling sound that other shops could not figure out exactly what was causing it. I looked up Martin repair warranty certified guitar shops and was so lucky to have found Vez Guitar Academy. The staff are friendly and professional. Aries is who helped fix my Martin D-28 (and he helped me get it covered under my lifetime warranty with Martin!). Now my guitar is playing and sounding beautiful with no more rattling. He and his brother Aries are both so kind, helpful, and clearly passionate about what they do. Aries is a genius when it comes to repairs. He brought my 20-year-old guitar back to life after it had been sitting in a basement for years. That guy can fix anything. It's a family-run business, and you can really feel how much they care about their students and their craft. David is hands down my favorite teacher ever. He's funny, super patient, and amazing with my little sister Gigi, who's a total metalhead. He lets her explore any song or style she's into and makes every lesson fun and supportive. While I was on my way to get coffee and I passed by Vez Guitar Academy and decided to go in and check it out. I was greeted by a friendly guy behind the counter and we talked for a few minutes. I was curious about a setup for my Squier jaguar and got a quote (at the time of writing this the price was 65 dollars if you provide strings, extra without). Thought it was a great deal and brought my guitar the week after. Aries was the tech that worked on my guitar. Before I handed it over, we talked and had a general conversation about the guitar, if it had any other problems but it just needed a setup as I just purchased it a few months ago. Again had another great interaction, Aries was friendly and very knowledgeable about his craft. The turnaround was 5 days which was no problem for me and they let me know that beforehand. Came backed to pick it up and it was well worth it. Couldn't ask for a better setup, string height was great, intonation was spot on and the fretboard was well hydrated again. Amazing job, before I left had a nice conversation with both guys about music and then parted ways. Definitely bringing all my instruments here from now on. They also sell guitars, amps, strings, picks, accessories and give lessons here if you're interested. 10/10 experience. Support small businesses like this! read more

I have experienced nothing but true professionalism and staff has been courteous and most helpful with answering all my questions. I'm a beginner guitar student and David has been great in teaching me and always very patient which I truly appreciate. Sympathy aside for a moment I'd like to give this " Guitar Academy " some insight on my recent visit/experience. The selection of guitars is lacking and the guitars they do have are overwhelming overpriced. I'd advise anyone looking for an instrument to look online , visit their local Guitar Center and compare prices before spending any money at this store. Secondly, and perhaps more important than anything else mentioned here is having the proper knowledge to be able to interact accordingly with clients in this department I was exceptionally unimpressed.
