They also stated that if we had any issues to give them a call and they will help move things along. I have checked every day for 3 1/2 months now on the NJ board of nursing sight and my application is STILL pending! And yes, I made sure everything required is uploaded. I have called the Board of Nursing at least 20 times to check on the status and to escalate the issue but still have gotten no answers, except that the licenses usually take 3 months. So lie #1 from E&S! I called E&S and left a message for a call back. I called again this morning since no one called me back. The gentleman I spoke to said there was nothing he can do, and that the people that can help me at E&S are having staffing issues so he has no clue if or when someone will call me to help. Lie #2....It seems like all they care about is taking your money. If you are really interested in going into the medical field, try another school. This one isn't worth the time or money.

The 10,000 square foot facility includes a large central laboratory with specialty areas dedicated to molecular, cellular, and tissue analyses, a state-of-the-art confocal facility, tissue culture laboratory, four-station animal surgery suite with separate animal holding area, four specialized laboratory spaces, offices, conference spaces, seminar room, machine shop, and staff lounge. The Center is designed to be open, interactive, and handicap accessible. The Keck Center is located on the 2nd floor of the Nelson Biology labs. It can be a little hard to find, and it would really be nice if they had some sort of signage outside of the building to make finding the Keck Center easier. This is the only factor that makes me hold back a star. The lab space inside is very impressive and worth checking out if you plan on taking a tour of the biology programs at Rutgers.

I was the only one taking the class so it went by pretty quickly. The instructor is so nice and really explains each topic well. She asks you questions to make sure you understand the content in order to apply it to the emergency situation. Her questions all help with the test at the end. She's friendly and approachable, so don't be afraid to ask questions! The mannequins have become more high tech from when I last did my BLS certification. There's an app that can measure the depth and rate you're performing your compressions. I think that's pretty cool! In terms of cleanliness/infection control, we were wearing masks. I only removed my mask momentarily when I was performing rescue breaths. All equipment was wiped down and disinfected after the course. Hand sanitizer was also available. I felt safe with the proper precautions taken. Overall, I highly recommend getting your certification done here! The whole experience was pleasant.
