Our case included thousands of pages of medical records, and Karl took the time to carefully review everything and prepare a detailed federal brief that accurately portrayed my husband's disability, clearly identified the legal errors in the prior denial, and led to a Sentence 4 reverse and remand. Because of his work, we were given another hearing where the medical expert confirmed that the criteria for disability were met, and the vocational expert testified that no jobs were available. This showed how strong the case became after Karl's involvement. Just as important, Karl and his team showed genuine kindness throughout the process. This system can be very triggering and overwhelming, and they consistently treated our family with patience, respect, and understanding. Even after notifying them to not contact me Osterholt felt the need to be petty and still contact me to further my disappointment about losing my case calling it a "freebee" email, well, that should explain to everyone what type of people they are..."not good" I'm a person who reached out for help, to the trust, and concern the firm would have the knowledge to help me with my case. They did not. I was treated less-than, and I did all the work, people who are having grave health issues are already in need, and to be treated so disrespectfully only added to my health issue, emotionally, and physically, and that is just disgusting to me. I'm continuing my fight with my case and still have hope that lawyers do care about their client's and doing the best for them This firm is not it.
