I had been going to a massage therapist for over twenty years, but then COVID-19 hit. Like most businesses, my therapist had to put things on hold but has not returned. After searching everywhere for a GOOD therapist, I happened upon Quai (pronounced Chow) one day at Spalding Jewelry in Beech Grove. After Quai left, the owner mentioned she was the best massage therapist I'd ever find. So, I gave Ruyi Spa a try. I've never looked back. I go there regularly. Ruyi offers 60, 90, and 120-minute massages. The prices are extremely reasonable, the same as my former therapist. I have found my new forever massage therapist and cannot say enough nice things about this establishment. David and Quai are EXCELLENT massage therapists, if I could, I'd give them more stars. I regularly head over to Ruyi Spa to get a healing massage, and I am never disappointed. Chau has a wide variety of massage techniques which she uses to to take the knots out of my muscles. I am able to schedule appointments ahead of time, or just walk in. Even just walking in, or attempting to make an appointment only an hour or two in advance, I rarely need to wait beyond the time I requested. They will accept credit cards and cash, so even if you forget your folding, green money, that plastic will work fine. You never get "short changed" on appointment time by starting the clock the moment you arrive, which is a big plus if you are sore and moving slowly to get ready for the massage! If you pay for an hour and a half massage, you WILL get 90 minutes of muscle relaxation! read more

This is the best massage I have ever received. The massage therapist was right on time, kind, professional and thorough. I felt relaxed from head to toe. My aching feet felt so much better, as did my scalp. It was an hour massage, and the therapist filled every minute of it. Don't be wary of the simple location in a small strip mall. It's clean and quiet inside. The massage was a birthday gift from my husband, and the Ruyi Spa staff sang Happy Birthday and gave me a Chinese birthday cake. I have been going to this place for several months and try to go once a week. I typically have the main girl give me the massages and I think she is the best I have ever had.
