With tons of adventures and activities planned we knew we needed a versatile vehicle to accomodate our jam-packed schedule. Sandy Vans came through huge! We rented Lt. Van Taylor for the three-day weekend and used it to its full capacity. We transported surfboards, bicycles, luggage, and more. We drove around town in style, had a comfortable place to sit and eat our burritos, and had a restful spot to recharge with a quick nap between activities. The van was perfect and the Sandy Vans team was amazing, too! Very accommodating, knowledgeable, and friendly. Without Sandy Vans our San Diego reunion would not have been the same. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I finally got around to reaching out to Sandy Vans to see about getting a replacement and was told that "this item is outside of their return window" (which is 30 days) but they could offer me $50 off towards a new $200 bug screen.. which seems silly considering the first one fell apart. I'm not sure about their other products, but the bug screens are garbage! I declined their pitiful offer of $50 off a new one and told them I'd purchase from a company with a more durable product. I'd recommend anyone else thinking about buying this product do the same!

They made it everything perfect from start to finish. The RV was setup like a charm and had everything we needed to start the trip. A few chairs, a large mat and cleaning supplies were included . Air conditioning in this unit was freezing and refreshing after hot surf trips all day. There were enough pots/pans/paper plates and silverware ready for all 8 of us. The slide gives lots of space with the bunk beds in the back a bonus. They are the best in San Diego and we HIGHLY recommend.

The camper was extremely wobbly and then on day 3 the camp staff informed me they never lowered the stabilizers on the RV when they set up. I've asked for a discount but they refuse to respond. I tried to book them via RV Share but they pushed me to their site probably because their service is so bad. They stopped replying to any of my calls and text with in the first day of a four day trip. Stay away from this company Update: everything I said was 100% true and I have receipts. RV wasn't set up as the stabilizers were not deployed. We contacted you via text, and phone calls with voicemails multiple times. You even replied at one point and said someone would come which never did. I contacted you via RV Share then you texted me and sent me to your site. I'm not bashing any small company, I'm pointing out completely unacceptable business practices.

Truly that was it as everything else was more stressful and thank God Yosemite is as beautiful and freeing it is to be able to not let a rental ruin the full experience. I would proceed with caution as issues definitely arose. There were quite a few things that were wrong. First, the quick guide video QR code is for a different/newer model of the van. Understanding how each component worked was different and not accurate. The team had explained everything in a brief 10 minute walk around which was helpful. But also very overwhelming because again the vehicle was different than the one in the video. When we came to pick-up, the vehicle had to get a whole new door latch because the previous one was broken and they replaced it with the same lock and key that the technician even said was cheap quality and we had to be mindful of that the whole trip worried it would break again. Our first night, the car wouldn't start. No battery nothing. Had to call a Park Ranger come out and see if we can jump start the car and no luck. We then had to talk with the "Support" which is an absolute joke. You get connected to a team in the United Kingdom or India and barely are any help and tell you, "Connect via WhatsApp" to another person you can't call or talk to. It was beyond ridiculous to get a hold of someone at all let alone help at all besides waiting for them to review a video you send them. Then they have you wait for a tow to come out for another 2 hours. Thank God we had the Park Ranger to help and actually found out that the battery cables to the battery were not even fully connect to the terminals and therefore that's why the car couldn't start or use the battery, while support is saying it's the drivers fault. Ended up paying money out of our pocket to the Ranger for helping us and the mechanics who came to tighten the bolts that saved us $100's from "Indie Campers Support Team." Truly proceed with some caution and make sure to do a through check of the whole vehicle as well. The bathroom looks like there is mold on the ground too and did not feel safe for my pregnant wife. What could've been a great birthday celebration turned to stress and chaos each day.

10-day followup: I received a charge for $331 today, 10 days after returning the vehicle. I reached…read moreout to customer support to ask what the charge was for, however the chat bot was only able to state either damages or toll fees. We did not take toll roads so it would imply damages. I asked to speak to a "live agent" which is still a chat bot, but they give you their "name". I asked for a list of damages (since the vehicle came in horrendous condition) and was told I had to submit an email form because they didn't know. I submitted an email and received an email back that they "don't operate their business this way", bla bla, and I would receive a credit for $368 for the condition I received the vehicle in. I still asked for a breakdown of the damages I supposedly caused and how I caused them 10 days after drop-off (was it the next renter? their staff? someone with access to the vehicle? something already present?) and then received another email that I would actually only receive a $42 credit because of the $326 in outstanding damages. I replied asking how the $311 for damages suddenly became $326 and why nobody could tell me what the damages WERE, what type of damage, what proof they had the vehicle was damaged (was it inside? outside? what was it?) and asked for an itemized breakdown, but then they stopped responding. I filed a claim with the BBB however they are rated F, not accredited, and all other BBB claims say they were not responded to so it won't go anywhere. Just stay away.

We reserved a 29' travel trailer to be delivered at South Carlsbad State Beach. We did not have a…read moresite with hookups, so we also added the generator rental. This was our first time in South CB outside of a tent and so it was a bit of a learning curve for us. The camper itself was in like-new condition. It was delivered on time and everything was ready to go when we arrived. We fumbled through a few things like "how do you turn on the water" but the Luv2Camp team was available to us via text throughout our stay. I honestly must have texted them 30 times that weekend, and each time they responded quickly. We had to have them come and dump our tanks over the weekend, which they did on short notice, on a Sunday, without hesitation. On at least one occasion during our stay, they showed up to the site just to check in and make sure everything was going ok. Our camper was great, but this company earned 5 stars in my eyes for their communication, availability, and willingness to help. If I ever need to rent a camper again, it will be with Lov2Camp...and it the site will have hookups...again, the learning curve.

I sent a message to the office but within 10 minutes if my call is saw a truck coming from a pick up. He stopped when I flagged him down and switched out the generator!! Super helpful!!
