I really want to note that the staff are so friendly and helpful and love dogs! Directions were very clear and they gave us a Bluetooth speaker free of charge. The boat itself was very clean and comfortable, not to mention easy to operate. My dog loved his first boating experience and wants to return! When we first arrived, most of us needed to use the restroom (since there isn't one on the boat), and the girl working at check-in seemed a bit annoyed by that. However, once we got on the boat, she was totally fine and helpful. A few things to note: someone in your group does have to drive the boat, so plan ahead for that. You can bring your own 21+ drinks as long as they're not in glass containers, and you'll need to bring your own ice. Once you're out on the water, it's pretty lively with lots of other boats and people. We played our own music and just hung out--it was a really fun, chill experience. The two hours definitely go by fast, so keep an eye on the time. They're strict about going over, even by a minute, so we set a timer and started heading back 30 minutes before our end time. Overall, a fun and unique experience we'd recommend!

I rented a Duffy from the Kona Kai location and it was broken. Bob there, immediately called Gus at Paradise Point location and secured us a pontoon boat, honoring the same price. It was crowded on the dock and hectic. It was crowded in Mission Bay. But the sun was signing brightly, the wind was nice, and another family memory will be in our scrapbooks for decades. What a shame, action sports should be embarrassed, and Loews Resort should take notice of this.

Mostly, I see the park from the water, when, while fishing, I drift along the seawall or poke in amongst the boats in the marina, looking for fish that are trying not to be found. The place looks pretty, though, and if I needed a spot in South Bay to bring the family for a barbecue, or to take a sunset stroll with my lady, Bayfront Park might be just the place.
