My fiancé and I just bought our first trailer, and we're so thrilled with our experience at RV land!! I had done some research before we went to try to find the best dealership in the area, and RV land had the best reviews. I see why! Salesman Frank Callahan helped us find the perfect camper for us. He made the experience so pleasant, and it didn't feel pushy or slimy or negative at all (as can happen sometimes with sales people). He was very enjoyable to work with and conversational! Frank talked to us about our goals for the trailer and asked what some features we really wanted were. We had a length limitation we needed to stay under, but still wanted something as spacious as possible that allowed for additional sleepers. He led us to the PERFECT trailer, and even though we'd gone to RV Land not planning to purchase anything that day, we put a deposit down! Brandt in the finance office helped us to find a loan plan that would work best for us, and we were able to put our down payment and sign the papers a week later. We've now purchased our trailer and had a whole walk-through with Guy, the service specialist. He took us through every single nook and cranny and plug and outlet and hookup and tank and switch there is, explained every last bit of the trailer to us, showed us how to hook it up to our truck, and answered every last question we had (which is really impressive cuz I'm super nit-picky and thorough). Whole thing took probably 1-2 hours. He was super knowledgeable and helped us feel much more comfortable as first-timers! He also made sure to note anything we found that could use a touch-up or repair, so that when we come back to pick it up, it's perfect! The RV Land team is great. My wife and I had been considering an RV for some time and back in the fall of 2020, started looking around the San Antonio area for a smal trailor for two. We met Frank back in October and discussed several models, then did some research. Frank kept us informed of models coming in that we were interested in. In late December, we did a little research and found what we thought was the right model. It was a very popular model, that had just gone through a significant mid year upgrade. Frank never pressured us on a fast sell, and read what we wanted very well. Frank got us on a waiting list and two months later contacted us and we immediately laid some money down on it and went back to look at it. It was exactly what we hoped for! Frank really came through for us, we are extremely happy! We closed the deal that day with Jason. Then later in the week while they were prepping it, I decided I wanted some upgrades. Frank put me in touch with Chris in the service department and he listened carefully to my wants, and made very astute recommendations, in line with the research I had done about solar power. frank also kept doing follow ups with me, which really helped. The next weekend, we went to back to recieve the training given by a very competent, knowledgeable and friendly service department rep named Josh. The end of the story is we are extremely happy with RV Land. They are friendly, realistic and practical and seem committed to getting people what they want without taking shortcuts. Where do I begin? This was truly the most amazing experience purchasing an RV that we have ever encountered. Everything that you read in the reviews are completely true about their amazing customer service, and attitude towards making everything perfect for the customer. They truly care about the customer, they truly care about the service level that you receive when purchasing a new RV, or going through the sales experience. I can tell you this- that every single person at this dealership truly cares about the experience for the buyer. They are truly the an un-RV dealership. What do I mean by that? Everything that you know about, sleazy and very untruthful sales people is completely the opposite at RV land. Truly from the top to the bottom of the organization, you can tell that they are trying to change the industry standard by upping their game and making it the most exceptional experience that you could ever have. We had driven over 1900 miles to come pick up the RV that we wanted to buy. We drove a long distance in order to have the best experience possible and get the best deal possible. We ran into a couple snags along the way, and they immediately jumped to the opportunity to make things right and even better than what we expected. I can tell you this that Rick, Josh, Scott, and Jason are all truly top-notch people. Every once in a while you have an experience at a retail location where you know these are people with whom you are going to have a lifelong relationship. I am simply blown away by the experience my husband and I have had over the past 2 weeks buying our first RV. Scott explained everything in detail and really supported us finding the perfect RV fit. I called 4 times over the next week while purchasing a truck to pull our new RV, to ensure I was getting the right one for our needs. Each time they spent 20 or so minutes with me on the phone discussing options and giving me their thoughts. Today they spent 3 hours with us explaining every detail of the RV, getting the proper hitch put on our truck and giving us our first kit of things we will need to go camping this weekend. My husband and I are both business owners and Lance runs RV Land as we do our businesses. Customers come first. There is NO RUSH to make a decision. They led us through the process step by step and took more time than we could have imagined to get us off on the right foot. The service manager spoke with us at length about potential future needs (winterizing our RV) and Scott made sure we were comfortable before pulling out of the parking lot, new RV in tow. This team of people are honestly the kindest, most genuine people I have done business with in years and ensured we had the right fit for our family and lifestyle. If you have ANY desire to own an RV, let me save you some real headaches. First, go with a solid brand like Winnebago. Read user blogs! Remember, this is a house on wheels. Things will go awry! Second, find an RV dealer with VERY high satisfaction ratings because you will have repairs they will handle or teach you to handle! Believe it or not, such a dealer will be quite rare. No joke. I had sales people, who do not own RVs, giving incorrect information or advice. I am a research nerd and double check everything! I learned that if I don't follow these two very crucial steps, I could pay a price in the thousands, literally. Long story short. We got a small Winnebago from RV Land. What a difference. At RV Land, they are all about education. They spent a great deal of time and effort going through every detail about how to use and maintain our RV. They have been very responsive with questions. They own RVs and gave great advice and pointers. They honored their warranty immediately on a repair. As I read reviews, many dealers respond in 6-8 weeks to repairs (if at all) and RV Land did our repair in a week. Lance, the owner, is always there. ok. so WOW. We were so screwed. We had a slide issue in the middle of nowhere TX on a Saturday night... exasperated I used YELP to beg the universe for a solution. I reached out to a few places in a 150 mile radius expecting to hear back from exactly NO ONE. 30 mins later I got a call from Chris at RV Land- he listened to us (patiently at 8:30 on a Sat night) and told us that he and his team would do what they could to diagnose the problem and get us on our way. His service shop reopened at 9am on Monday and they were waiting for us. They were honest in that they would do what they could, but transparent that they needed the parts (two week lead time) to do provide a comprehensive repair. We are on a cross country tour and can't wait 2 weeks. Chris and David literally counseled us as we reviewed our options- helping us to make the decision that was right for us- not necessarily for them. We went with the short term repair- Chris continued to follow up with us to make sure we were ok. HERE'S THE THING: they talk about how this is a passion for them and that keeping you on the road is their mission- and it REALLY IS. This is a class A outfit! Lance has put together a really great group of people. Your dealing with RVer's themselves who really know their product. We were pretty sure what we wanted when we went to see them and went away with the perfect RV for us and it was fun doing it, thanks to Chris! When you make a major purchase like an RV, you just hope there is service after the sale. Well the folks at RV Land have been absolutely wonderful in that regard also. After having a tire blow out on our first trip we had some damage to the RV. When I sent them a "how do we get this fixed" email the response was fast. Not an email reply, but a phone call making sure we were OK and the condition of the RV. Damage was minimal and they got us back on the road looking just like new. They even worked a deal with Winnebago to pay for the damaged part and they picked up the service charge. Unheard of, especially dealing with damage from a tire blowout. I recently purchased a 2022 Winnebago Micro Minnie FLX 2108FBS travel trailer from Frank at RVLand Kyle, Texas. I purchased this unit sight unseen from Mancos, Colorado and Frank could not have been more helpful, transparent and honest throughout the whole process. I drove over 1,100 miles from Colorado to pick this RV up in March. When I arrived Frank and the rest of the dealership was welcoming and friendly.
