And to ADD TO IT...when I initially called in to complain about the raise in fee, David at the front desk said it was "an industry norm and something I would just need to deal with, and if I wanted to complain about it to someone, I would have to call another number, or email someone else about it" he told me he was busy and would email me the contact information - which of course, he never did. Their newest SCAM has been to charge me an additional $16.00 a month for insurance when I provided them with a policy when I moved in. I just called the office and talked to David again, and he said his "guess" was because my policy expired. I told him it hadn't. So, he took another look and said it was because my name wasn't on the policy. To which I reminded him no, but my husband who is also on the storage rentals name is. How do they not check the names on the rental agreement before opening up an additional rental insurance policy and charging someone for it?! David was VERY annoyed and told me he was busy and would call me back. We will see if that happens. I highly doubt it. DO NOT FALL for this horrible business. Hidden fees, raising prices. This was a tester for our family, we were unsure if we wanted to buy an RV this year or not. Well, these guys made it so easy we will be RV more often, but why buy when these guys make it a breeze. No need to store, clean, maintain or carry insurance not to mention the cost. We will just lease it from these guys. Thanks so much for making a long road trip very pleasant. It might be good to note that we spent about a week trying to book with two other companies, who would just not respond. Their websites said they would reply within 24 hours. The only response we ever got from one is they charged our credit card $3500.00 without confirming the reservation. Oh, and by the way, we were leaving on Thursday and Tuesday is when we finally reached out to American Dream Vacation. We put in an online request and within 30 minutes we had received a text letting us know the RV we were inquiring about was already taken. But sent us two other options within that next text. WTF Below is the full list of issues we had with the RV: - When we left Austin the glass window fell out on bedroom window onto the roadway - On our way back to Austin, we lost a second window on the dining slide out onto the roadway - Air conditioner not working in main room, E4 error code - 24/7 support not available, voicemail box full. - Roadside assistance said they couldn't help us with any of the problems - 7' broken wood board on slideout, fell and almost hit daughter in the head - The gauge on the freshwater tank doesn't work so can't tell if there's any water or not. Only discovered on the 3rd day the tank was full of water - Water fill hose leaking at connection, spraying water all over. We couldn't use the camp site water because of issue. - Hot water doesn't work on kitchen faucet - Back up camera not working - Various windows/mechanisms broken and taped on outside with shipping tape - Broken screen door handle - No key for outside storage locks - Leg on Queen bed is loose/broken - Door on bedroom doesn't stay closed or latch - Window shade in bedroom is broken - Right rear view mirror very loose - Kitchen drawers won't stay set - Slide out panel controls are reverse - Check engine light was on the whole trip. I called immediately after picking up the RV and was told it had to do with the catalytic converter

I recently moved to Texas and am temporarily in my RV while my house is being built. It's been tough moving across state and even tougher downsizing like I have so when my ac wasn't cooling recently I was ready to cry and throw my towel in . I took a chance with this place because the first place was not able to get me seen for almost two weeks and two weeks in this crazy Texas heat made me panic! The office guy without hesitation got me on the books for Mobile service the next morning and when the tech came it ended up being such a simple fix I had cold AC in less than 30 minutes! I wish I remembered the gentleman's name from the office but I only remember the tech Brian who came and saved me from melting. I will be using Genuine Rv Repair each and every time I need help and at the rate I'm going i am going to become a regular customer! Our travel retailer's roof started peeling back right at the beginning of our 5 week cross country trip back in October; so you can imagine how upset we were. We called several shops who had no time for us until several weeks out. Genuine RV recognized our desperate situation and had us bring our trailer in right away and within a couple of days had found out the problem. They took the time to actually show us what was happening to our roof. They worked with our insurance company and also allowed us to continue on our trip sans trailer while they fit our repair into their schedule. We needed a new roof so it was a pretty in depth repair. Anytime we called them, they responded right away and all of them were so helpful and courteous to us. And I must say that Kayla is an amazing asset to this company! So kind and helpful! Just wanted to share my experience with Brian at Genuine RV Repair. It was a Saturday afternoon and UT was neck and neck when I broke my travel trailer and called Brian. He was deep into the game with family, and at a birthday party to boot, when he made arrangements to come and save the day! The guys I had scheduled to tow originally were scrambling to try to find a way to load my trailer to take it to Brian, so instead, Brian offered to come get it himself in the middle of all of that. He was on time, communicative, incredibly sweet (in the face of my sadness in harming my trailer), and promised to take care of it swiftly and easily for me. He fulfilled every promise and I had an amazing experience. My trailer is back on the road just like he said it would be, and I can't thank him and his team enough for helping me out! I needed some quick repairs to my 2020 Flying Cloud and was not able to get an appointment at dealership before leaving for my next trip (they were scheduling 90 days out). They referred me to Genuine RV, noting they offered rapid mobile service, were experts in my brand, and were authorized to conduct warranty work if needed. Genuine RV delivered on all of the above - they were onsite quickly and well versed in all things Airstream. Everything I needed done to get back on the road was taken care of. From this point forward, I will always call Genuine RV first. It is so much better to have qualified service come to you, versus hooking up and taking your RV to sit at dealership for weeks. We arrived at Pedernales Falls SP and noticed the hubcap cover on one of our travel trailer tires was missing and the grease cap inside had come off. After searching around, we found Geniune Rv Repair. Kayla was very helpful and put us in touch with Michael, their mobile tech. Michael came out and not only checked and fixed our wheel issue but also did a quick rv inspection and taught us several things we didn't know after 2 years of camping with the RV. Great service and very knowledgeable in all things Airstream including common warranty repairs and general maintenance. Once the parts were delivered to their shop, it only took 3 days from pick-up to drop off and it was even washed and waxed! LOVE that they also make home home visits for yearly warranty inspections and are willing to fix what they can on site (instead of driving the trailer to them). Had appointment for repacking trailer bearings on Thursday, Sep 16, 2021. Communications was excellent, drop off was easy, and pickup was quick. They discovered that two bearing seals had leaked onto the electric brakes. They replaced the brakes on the same day. Dropped our trailer off at 8:45 am, and we picked up our trailer at 4:30.
