We got to Quartzsite, AZ and had a full wall slide on our Coach that stopped going in or out as we were traveling the Southwest for a few months. As we traveled we tried to find a shop that would work on it but all were weeks or months out before they could look at it. When we got here and contacted RV Lifestyles they scheduled us in in a few days. Yes it's an older Lippert slide system and there have been problems with it. A motor was bad and one was ordered and a week passed before we could get a replacement motor delivered but but as soon as it arrived we brought the Coach back and Lifestyles jump right back on fixing it. After a full day of installing the new motor and trying to get it operating properly and numerous calls with Lippert it was decided we needed the other motor replaced. It was ordered and another week passed before arrival. This was installed and it then worked very well. We really want to thank RV Lifestyles for working hard to fix the problem and not giving up. If you're in or near Quartzsite and need service or a problem solved, we would recommend that you make these guys your first choice. read more

These guys are super friendly. They do excellent work, and were very reasonably priced. I have a Fleetwood Flair motorhome. When I purchased it the generator didn't work. Two mechanics later and a bunch of new parts, and hundreds of dollars, it still didn't work. I wasn't at the RV Lifestyles shop 15 minutes and the guys there knew exactly what the problem was, and had me up and running. Needless to say Quartzsite is super hot, and an A/C is important. I made an appointment on Thur for the following Tues yet was treated like I was wasting their time. I had no brake or turn signal on the right side of my trailer. They diagnosed it as a problem with the truck and agreed grudgingly to look at it. I came back from walking down to get coffee, they said it was done. I paid and figured I'd check the lights. I no longer had any tail lights or turn signals. Truly incompetent to not check your work! Went back in, to say ,"hey, it's worse now." They treated me like utter crap but did finally replace the plug on the trailer for yet more money. I feel petty ripped off and abused. read more

Took my generator to them on Dec. 3rd with a broken pull cord. Cost $136. It's now mid Jan. and I noticed the cord is fraying already. I even elevated the generator so as to pull directly out of hole to minimize wear. I noticed that right where the cord comes out, there was a metal piece so the cord doesn't scrape the edge, was not there. They seem to have neglected to put it back on.It's only been one and a half months, but I doubt that they still have the piece. The gauge of the cord seemed whimpy and I'll deal with it myself. Do not hire these guys! They don't know what they're doing. I hired them to replace a toilet and they totally screwed it up! The mobile tech service that they hire,​ broke the bracket that the toilet attaches to and installed it at the wrong angle and then he tried to hide the broken piece, pretending there was nothing wrong. And when I said, no this has to be fixed because it's not going to stay secure like that, he started making excuses about how it's going to be very difficult and that he has to cut the pipe cuz it's glued in there. And when I went to complain to the owner of RV Life Styles shop, that idiot also said it was going to be difficult and we couldn't do it now for 3 weeks. Which was a big fat lie. So I did it myself. I determined what would be needed, got the part at their parts store, went out there in their shop, got in my RV, and pulled off that old bracket that was screwed with screws and not glued in, I screwed the new one in and bolted the new toilet down. It Took me a half hour, and I'm not experienced at it. That tech who is a mobile service idiot, took off because I'm sure he had another job to screw up, and didn't want to deal with it, and when I asked James, the owner of RV Life Styles Store/Shop, that employed this mobile technician, that I wanted a refund for the labor that was done wrong and screwed up, he refused to reimburse me for my labor of fixing that guy's screw up! So avoid my mistake, and do not hire these idiots, and do not go to that shop and patronize that idiot James, because he was so defensive of this mess up rookie kid that didn't know what he was doing! I showed them the part and they knew right away what I needed. 5 minutes later I was out the door and a very happy customer. The service here is always good. That's what happened again at their LP gas "service station" where the attendant acts like I was working for him. He's too lazy or half-witted to keep track of whose next in line. The guy who got there about 5 minutes or so after I got there was accusing me of butting in front of him!?! Had towbar installed on a Tiffin motorhome with Jeep Cherokee tow car. They couldn't get the electrical connector on so they went and reconnoitered the wire harness on it, changed plugs worked on it for a long time. On our way to Alabama, the Jeep battery was dead. We went to a repair shop Where the Tiffin motorhomes are made. The man said it needed a five pin connector and they had only put on a four pin. We paid $250 for the proper electrical connection and installation. Went back to RV lifestyle this season and James, the manager or owner says he's been there 32 years he did nothing wrong, laughed at me, and refuses to make it right. Offered us 15% off on a $15 bottle of black tank deodorizer and small door latch we were going to buy. He refuses to budge. I explained to him that I would be forced to go to small claims squirt to recover my money. The original job was around $1200. Then we paid 250 to get it done rightI told him I would be happy with a store credit of $250. He suggested I write a letter to the Better Business Bureau. What a terrible place to do business. He has zero integrity and doesn't care. He's the only game in town! read more

I went to RV Lifestyles in Quartzsite as I had a problem with my Dometic RM 7732 refrigerator. The igniter module had failed and would not light the propane burner. I talked with James as the parts for my refrigerator were no longer available but Dinasoar Electronics made a replacement part. I was not comfortable with changing the board myself and James agreed to do it if I got my bus to him as quickly as possible. I did exactly that and James got to my unit as soon as he was available. The board was installed in 30 minutes and has worker flawlessly. Thank you for the great service! read more

no bobbi, I was not told the generator would be removed for free 'IF' it was working. the verbal contact my wife and I made with the service desk liar (alone) was for 'free removal of non working generator, with generator being broken up for sale as spares'. 'IF' never came up in the conversation. ask yourself, why would we remove a working generator? I understand the point you are taking in defending your companies workers and your reputation but it seems to me either they lied to you as well, or you are complicit in their deceptive practice. it was outrageous to be threatened to have the work reversed and I can only say RV LIFESTYLES would have been headed for legal trouble if those threats had continued. at the end of the day this is simply about the principle of an agreement being made and agreed to, then the being broken. i went there for two major repairs. one, the large propane tank on my class A rv had a leak so i had them order both the valves for putting propane into the tank. they ordered the wrong one for the main input so i didn't have them do either of them. Two was th water tank connected to the hot water heater. I was at Lifestyle 5 different times for something to do with the water tank and left with no thermostat installed. I paid ovu $1600.00 and it was not done correctly! read more

This place has the worst customer service of any dealership I have ever seen. I went in a couple of days ago to get a roll of 3 inch sealant tape and all they had was 4 inch. I asked if he could get 3 inch he said no that was all that was available so I ordered it myself. I went in today to order a blower motor for my A/C unit. He informed me that I had other problems and needed a new A/C unit. After I told him I was a Master Certified Technician and knew what I needed he changed his tune. Fifteen minutes before closing my husband ran in, described the problem with our broken water heater and they knew exactly what the problem was. My husband installed the part and we were golden! On December 13th 2017 I had an appointment with RV Lifestyles for a warranty inspection. I went at 8:30 in the morning and have them take pictures of my entru door that needs to be replaced under warranty. On December 21st 2017 Lippert requested pictures from the dealership which they never got. I followed up at the end of December with James about this door and he told me he hadn't heard from Lippert. That's not true cuz they asked him for pictures on December. 21st. I gave him the entire month of January and left him alone because it's the busiest time here in Quartzsite. So I reach out in February and James still has not followed up on anything that he was supposed to. I ended up calling Forest River directlyand I ended up calling and speaking of Lippert directly. Since James never submitted the pictures I took it to the next level and sent them video of the large gap in the upper portion of my door. Imagine my surprise the claim was approved within 2 business days, as soon as they got what they requested! I provided James with the claim number let him know he warranty claim was approved while also forwarding him the email that showed the approval as well- this was on February 21st. Supposedly he ordered my door on February 25th even saying " it's a done deal it should be here by March 12th. " Here we are it's March 14th turns out he never ordered the door! That's all he had to do on this claim was ordered of the damn door and he didn't do it. I've had to go in and show my face cuz he's never calls me back every time he says he will call me back. IN THE PAST FOUR MONTHS HE'S NEVER CALLED ME ONCE! Now if you're an old white man over the age of 65 , it seems like he loves talking to you guys, kind of like a good ole boy thing. But if your female with a warranty claim he can't make a lot of money on , he can give two s**** and will lie to your face REPEATEDLY! For anyone reading this do your due diligence make sure you follow up if you're going to have a warranty claim -you should probably do it somewhere else. James has straight up told me he didn't want to do the other items on my hit list for the manufacturer cuz it wasn't worth his time as it didn't pay well enough. I have no problem with him saying that, he was straight up which is fine. I have zero problem with him turning that down that work cuz he was straightforward about that but this whole mess with my door has been a damn nightmare. read more

My 25-year old RV was stored most of its life, so when the furnace blower began to lag and automatically shut off the propane, it was suggested to me that the blower motor needed oiling, and RV Lifestyles agreed to do that. Instead, they replaced the thermostat and told me that was all it needed. They charged me $100, and mounted the thermostat beside the old location, leaving the former screw holes visible, instead of covered by the new thermostat. And the thermostat was cheaper and had less functionality. And it did NOT solve the problem. A friendly salesman then told me my old blower motor could not be oiled and I should just get a new heater which would use a tiny fraction of the propane. Unhappy to have wasted $100 on an unnecessary thermostat installation and a day's trouble and drive, I agreed. My new heater could not be installed in place of my old furnace, so it now takes up space in my small camper. They charged me retail for every piece of installation hardware, so the $169 heater installed cost me $395! When I asked if I could get credit for the unnecessary thermostat I had not asked for and hadn't needed (and would have preferred my old one back), the service man, who'd been particularly rude, nearly screamed at me, "*I* installed the thermostat!!" - rising off his seat as if restraining himself from jumping over the counter to punch me for politely asking the question! Since then, I've learned this heater uses the same amount of fuel as my old furnace - AND should not be used without opening a window or vent!!! I was lied to. And treated terribly. And I'd been perfectly polite with everyone there. I'll never return. read more

We had to replace a slide motor that broke into pieces while camping out at Quartzsite, so we made a visit to RV Lifestyles. They were able to find and order us a new one that we received in about a week. Great to have an option like this for RV parts and service when out camping in the area. We installed the new motor ourselves, but they offer services to install them if we needed it. We also found a new door latch for our screen door that broke while camping in the area. Very glad this business is in the Quartzsite area for our winter camping needs. read more

We took our Honda side by side in for regular service in February 2021. We were quoted $150.00 total but when I brought it in the service person said it would by under $200.00. I supplied a service list right out of the service book. He stated they had all the parts etc. and would have it done by the next morning. They never called me so I called later in the afternoon the next day and they said it was done come get it. When I picked it up the bill was $272.77, I asked why so much and my answer was because I made a list ? On the list was call Honda for the oil filter also regarding the linkage adjustment the owner / manager stated he didn't have the computer to program it. When I brought it back to our site and lifted the bed I discovered it was not put back together. I also looked online and found that to adjust the linkage you only had to remove 4 screws and adjust with your fingers. All they did was change the oil and oil filter the air filter wasn't even looked at, no dirt disturbed. When I brought it back the manager / owner he yelled at the mechanic to put it back together. The mechanic apologized to me and stated they have him working on three at a time and he forgot to put mine back together, also he had never worked on a Honda 1000 and it took him a half hour just to figure out how to work on it. He also stated to me not to say anything or he would be fired. When I went back to the owner / manager he stated he would only give me a half hour off my labor, that's all he gives anybody. I disagreed and when walking away stated I would talk to my credit card company. When the manager / owner heard that he ran up me and slapped the receipt in my hand and stated good luck with that. I did follow up with my credit card company and filed a dispute, I would only pay for the oil and filter nothing more. We don't live there but came down for the winter, my credit card company states they tried to get a hold of me but traveling back home didn't happen. My bad, when I did contact them they told me time had ran out and the dispute was closed. I did get the owner / manager answer to my dispute and he can sure shovel the ----. He lied and even stated I was yelling at his staff and in only took four screws to put it back together. They are the worst place I have ever experienced in my life, take your off road vehicles, trailers else were they have no customer service and are a total rep off. Gods truth !! read more

I spent $397 at this place in February to get my propane furnace fixed as I was heading north and was going to need heat. The first time I needed it, it didn't work and has not worked since. Sales manager went along with his scam artist friend/ trailer deliverer and told me that the tires on the trailer were unsafe to drive on and that I needed to buy new tires before it was safe to deliver the 5th wheel I had bought from RV Lifestyles. So after paying $780 for the new tires and getting it delivered, once I go inside I see the four tires that the deliverer said I had to get replaced (as I asked him to put the 'old' tires inside) and they are brand new tires themselves. So now I have 2 sets of new tires for my 5th wheel because the sales manager would not tell me that the original tires on the 5th wheel were new when I asked him if the tires were in good enough condition to make the trip and the sales manager played dumb, telling me he hadn't checked the tires and that I may need to get new tires for the trip. And I talked to the sales manager 3 different times that morning, trying to understand how he sold me a 5th wheel that had tires that were unsafe to drive on, so he had plenty of time to tell me that the tires were new . But he didn't and he let his friend play some sick $780 scam on me. I would not buy a churro from these people. read more

We took our fifth wheel in because our front landing gear had stripped out and collapsed. We had an extended warranty on it. When we got it to their service dept and had it separated from our truck I should have known by the way they were doing things to just hook it back up and leave. Anyway, long story short, they only replaced one side of the landing gear when both sides the teeth were stripped out, the raise and lower switch went out. We did not notice that this was like this until we got back to our camp and only one side worked. We went back to see if they carried a switch, it was just a plug and play type, and saw the associate at the counter. As I started to ask him about it, he then saw another customer and went around me to see what she needed, then proceeded to draw it out with a personal conversation with her, then walked away from her to help someone else. I had been waiting long before they showed up and he acted like I wasn't there. Finally my husband walked up and got his attention. He searched the parts they had and said they didn't have one and to check with another parts dealer, and at that time another associate walked up and found the part right away. They are extremely rude. I understand that they go through a lot of people, but when you are working on someone's rv, at least have someone there that does in fact know how to properly lift a fifth wheel off a truck with manual jacks and have some customer service skills when customers are waiting at the counter for assistance. read more

We had trouble finding any good information on our 1994 RV propane oven and refrigerator parts in LA... we tried RV Lifestyles on a whim. When my husband walked in with our old parts and the lady at the checkout called out to us by the brand of our stove (something nobody else could even identify at other places), we knew we were in good hands. When we spoke with one of the parts experts in the back, at first he broke some bad news to us that our parts would be nearly impossible to find. But when we explained that we were open to McGyver-ing a solution, he jumped into full problem solving mode and explained how we could safely use a similar part that was easier to get. He also had a few similar model fridges in stock and sold us parts from one of them. The checkout lady also assisted us in getting the right fan replacement blades - she explained the differences in fittings... something which nobody at Camping World even mentioned. Everyone here is super helpful and patient. If you are in a bind searching for parts, I suggest you make the drive from Los Angeles. It is worth it! read more

Left my 5th wheel here 3 weeks ago after attending Lake Havasu Balloon Festival. Paid $50 for their "short term storage area" behind the store so I wouldn't have to haul my rig all the way home to Central Coast Ca. and back again on my way to meeting friends in Tucson this weekend. Woke up early, drove 435 miles, 8 hours on the road, and found the gates locked. Called their number and left a message. After 30 minutes called the emergency number and spoke to a guy who said the business was closed Sat & Sun as their computers were down. He said he is only available for deliveries and emergencies. I told him I had an emergency as I couldn't get to my rv and had no place to stay for 2 nIghts (with a dog). He denied having a number for the owners who were on vacation or a manager or employee who could let me get my rv. I don't believe that they have a sign with this guys number and he doesn't have the owners or employee's number???? I called the police but the dispatcher said he couldn't be forced to open the gate if he didn't have authorization to do so. I understand that but what I still don't believe is that he doesn't have the owners ph#, nor the number of a manager, or trusted employee. The only hotel with vacancies is costing me $192.32 for 2 nights. There was no attempt to contact me to let me know I wouldn't have access to my rv. I consider this extremely poor management of a business. read more

The hydraulic line broke on our motor home as we were pulling into a campground in Quartzsite, AZ. on Monday. My husband drove to RV Lifestyles to find out about getting it fixed. Leveling jacks and slide would not work. They said to bring it in Wednesday morning, 7 am. We did and it was repaired and ready to go Wednesday afternoon at a cost that was reasonable and fair. The staff was helpful, friendly and very knowledgeable. We would not hesitate to go back and highly recommend them for all your RV repairs. read more

I had a propane heater installed by them. I knew I could do it but I wanted to play it safe and have pros do it. Two years later I happen to be inspecting the fridge area (had a fridge issue) where they had tapped off the supply line for the heater. The connection was loose and leaking propane. I am sorry but that is unacceptable. I am just grateful the RV did not catch on fire. I recommend the place if you have very good insurance. read more

I bought a New Tomoto UTV 3 years ago. The engine was heating up and the radiator fan would come on and cool it down. Also the starting switch was acting up and would not start every time. I took the vehicle back to them and they repaired the switch and it worked for a while then started acting up again. I put the unit in storage and went back to Oregon. When I got back to Quartzsite this November I took the UTV to them to work on the switch, change the oil and check it out before I went out in the desert. Well they fixed the switch, changed the oil and I picked the unit up and drove it about one mile and it was so hot I had to take it back to them. They checked it out and flused the cooling system and found that the cooling system was full of stop leak and the waterpump was bad and the radiator had a leak, this was after they flushed the system out. Remember I bought this unit New and it only has 400 miles on it and I have never put stop leak or anything in the engine or the cooling system, When I bought the UTV it was New but the only thing I can figure out now is that the unit was not New and I got screwed when I bought it. I am not going to lie down and let this issue go away. I will get even. read more

Rv Lifestyles recommended a particular product. I purchased it and read info. on what it could not be used on. The staff seem to miss that, and failed to inform me of it. When I called back, they immediately referred me to a local hardware store for related items, why? In other words they knew this product I purchase from them wouldn't work for what I wanted for. When I went back to this store to return the item. No one wanted to help me with the return. The guy who referred this item to me immediately took off and the other reacted like he had a phone call. Obviously avoiding me. Then the woman with a big attitude came up and took the product back, very rude and immediately charged me a 10% restocking fee, but failed to mention that until I caught the mistake. (That's just dishonest.) I told her that their salesman recommended the product, and I should not be charged a restocking fee. Then she copped a bigger attitude and told me if I had told her that first, she would have not charged the 10% restocking fee. I told her if her staff new the products better I wouldn't be back here for a refund. After all that she finally refunded the full amount. Now I know why no one in Quartzsite ever recommends them. Very lousy or no customer service. If they keep up these lousy business ethics they won't be in business much longer, and they don't need to be. Last time ever in this store, and will tell all we meet they way we were treated. read more

A quote from an e-mail the manager sent to CFMoto headquarters about not informing customers about the progress on repairs. "IT IS A SHAME THAT THEY HAVE TO WAIT 3 WEEKS FOR THERE UNITS BUT I'M GOING TO SAY THIS (TOO BAD), THOSE ARE NOT THE ONLY RIGS I HAVE HERE. bought a new cfmoto z6 atv from rv lifestyles 4/4/11 and since then i have had so many problems. trans locked in all gears 4times, gas gauge 3times, oil leak, brakes gone out 2times, had to ask for an owners manual wouldn't start had to pay $50. because in oregon the nearest dealer was over 200mi. away so when when i tried to load it in my trailer found that james never give me the winch controller after many calls to james he never called back so i contacted cfmoto and after many calls and emails they finally called after many more calls emails and many people said they would send the controller they told me to call the dealer i tried left front wheel locked in the desert and almost flipped over and parts falling off. and sam h is right on about about the lousy attitude and poor quality work never wrote any w/o so i made a list and they said it got lost and very poor communication as to problem and when unit is ready. i don't know what ken f had but i have been dealing with james for almost a year and like sam i have always left there angry every time and the list goes on. they have had in for service more i got to use it. i have contacted bbb for cfmoto and the attorney generals office asked them for a complete refund called cfmoto and they were upset they said that they after many calls finally talked to james and upset he hadn't call a few minutes later james called and it was ready,we refused it and said we wanted a complete refund and he said that's not going to happen they don't give refunds. now now we are mad as hell and not going to take it anymore !! we will now contact a lemon law attorney we feel that this z6 has proven many times to be unsafe to us and others around us!!! anyone else who have problems please post them!!!!!!! avoid!!!!! read more
