The RV spots are great and the lady at the front is nice but the owner... he is NOT nice. He yelled…read moreat a friend and I for not knowing the gate code. I had just texted my dad for the code and the owner pulled up next to us and yelled "If you don't know the code, Then you don't enter!". Then we proceeded to explain what was wrong and just backed up and corrected ourselves because another car was coming out and he jumped out and walked over to yell "Yall are not coming in!". In short, nice lady at the desk but HORRIBLE Owner! Watch out for him.

They have an on-line booking but we couldn't see a place to request a pull-thru or to get any offered discounts. We made the reservation on-line after several dropped connections; unsure if it's my cell service in Lufkin or their line. We booked a back-in site since no pull-thru sites are available for our stay. The confirmation came by e-mail quickly. I searched the Garmin GPS for the address and it took awhile to find it. Try address number 10502 and street name FM 2410 in Belton TX if you also have trouble. It would have been nice if alternate directions due to construction on the Interstate were in the e-mail but we skipped a few exits and came back on the other side. Our first visual impression is positive. We checked in and one guy gave me backing up directions that got me right into the spot. This was very helpful for me since we've only been RVing for 5 weeks and prior to that I'd never towed anything. The roads are asphalt, the pads stone and the picnic table pads concrete. The picnic tables are nice. The water pipe is insulated. Wi-Fi is slow at times. There's no local road traffic noise and an occasional distant train. They have a playground, dog park, sheltered (roof and three sides) picnic area with five tables, kids pool, hot tub, some outdoor exercise equipment and Amazon Lockers. It appears they are expanding.

I'm giving this RV park a 4 star due to the kindness of the staff and honesty of working with us. I…read morewill say that it's a nice RV park but make sure you choice the site because our site was not what I expected. the site was on an incline, and the picnic pad was totally off for the size RV we have. I notice other sites were the same with the pad being off center from the RV steps. On their defense we could had moved to another site, but it was too late since we had set up by that point. Keep in mind outside of the park is not a nice area, so you have to travel a bite, to get to restaurants or so. We still felt safe due to the guest who permanently live in the park, they were friendly and looked out for one another as should be in the RV family. They have a large dog area, and the pool is clean with no issues from the other guest. Remember, not happy with the site ask for another before sitting up and bring ant spray. Overall, it's what you pay for and to me it was worth the 5 days stay and yes, I will book it again.

So now that the solar eclipse is coming they decided they can make more money for 1 weekend than they can for us staying for the next 7 or 8 months. I hope after this eclipse that spot stays empty for the rest of the year.
