    Vending machine area

Stopped here on way back from Dallas while driving to San Antonio. Restrooms were clean except some water on the floor. There was plenty of parking there. The vending machine area had a good selection. I ended up getting a Monster Energy Drink. There is a playground and an exercise area. If you need a good quick rest stop, then my first suggestion is Buccees. If you can not wait for a Buccees then this is a good second choice.

This is both a test area and a place you can go to if there is a storm you need shelter from. There were about a dozen or more tables you can eat at that were in the shade mostly. They had a play ground that was not shaded. Their restrooms and vending machines were in an air conditioned building which felt amazing in this summer heat. The storm shelter is in the same building as the restrooms. The bathrooms were nice enough for a state rest stop and the area felt safe which is important.

The restrooms were clean. The playground was nice. The area felt safe. This was a perfect break in the middle of a road trip for us to stretch our legs & let the girls unwind for a bit.

Still a great stop with two buildings that have restrooms. Clean facility with hand dryers. Entire area is well maintained and has benches, coverings, and a small playground. It feels safe and quiet at this location. Easy to drive in and drive out.

This rest area is a good place to stretch your legs, use the restroom, vending machine/snack area, they have a playground, areas to seek shelter from a tornado and an interactive, informational sculpture near the restrooms. They have another sculpture nearby that has seats. The restrooms are clean as well as the rest of the indoor facility.

Beautiful rest area in TX on 35 as I was traveling from Corpus Christi to the Dallas area. Huge! Nice, clean restrooms. Well stocked. Several vending machines located indoors. History info posted about the area. Lots of shade and flowers and trees. Ample parking. A play area for the kiddos. Picnic areas. And I had only seen half of the rest area as I got in my car to leave. There was a repeat of the beautiful grounds and parking past the building in the big rig area, too!

Oh, dear fellow travelers and loo enthusiasts, allow me to regale you with a tale of my recent encounter with a celestial masterpiece in the realm of gas station restrooms! Brace yourselves, for this review shall take you on a whimsical journey through porcelain palaces and dazzling illumination that will leave you gasping for breath, albeit in a pleasantly surprised manner. Upon entering this hallowed chamber of relief, I was immediately struck by the sheer brilliance of the lighting arrangement. It was as if the gods of luminescence themselves had descended to bless this humble lavatory with their radiant touch. I half expected to hear a chorus of angels singing in harmonious praise as the light bulbs flickered on. Honestly, it felt more like a Broadway stage than a bathroom, complete with its own personal lighting designer. Picture this: gentle hues of warm golden light, gently cascading from above, casting the perfect glow upon every contour and crevice within the realm of porcelain. It was a lighting spectacle worthy of its own grand performance, an ode to the elegance of electricity. In that moment, I knew I had entered a realm where bathroom breaks were no longer mundane necessities but rather awe-inspiring experiences. The lighting in this gas station bathroom was so good that I half expected a red carpet to unfurl before me as I approached the urinals. I found myself casually admiring the mirror's reflection, as the lights accentuated my features with a soft touch that whispered, "You are fabulous, my friend, even in the most mundane of moments." I couldn't help but strike a pose, indulging in an impromptu photo shoot, fully aware that I was being beautifully bathed in the glory of those luminous bulbs. In all seriousness, the impeccable lighting in this gas station bathroom deserves the highest commendation. It turned a simple pit stop into a sparkling adventure, adding a touch of glamour to an otherwise ordinary affair. The genius behind this choice of lighting truly understood that a well-illuminated bathroom can elevate the spirits of weary travelers and offer a respite from the doldrums of the road. So, my fellow wanderers, should you find yourself in need of a pit stop along your journey, I implore you to seek out this gas station oasis. Prepare to be dazzled by the sheer brilliance of its lighting, which will not only light up your way but also bring a touch of magic to an otherwise routine bathroom break. Trust me, you'll leave feeling refreshed, with a renewed sense of wonder for the power of good lighting and the undeniable charm of gas station bathrooms.

One of the cleanest rest stops I've ever seen. Felt safe. There is historical info inside. There is a storm shelter attached to the rest room building. Outside nice park for the kids, plenty of picnic tables. Designated dog area in the back. Plenty of parking.

A very nice clean rest area for heading north from or south to Austin. The state of Texas is doing an amazing job with the rest areas along the state's highways. This is no exception. And it even has storm shelters. If you are driving past and need to rest your area this is a good place to do so.

Just another rest stop along the Interstate but in addition to the expected necessities that we expect, the Bell County Safety Rest Area also serves as a storm shelter. It is well taken care of and offers clean and comfortable facilities for the many weary travelers who stop here.

Pleasant place to stay the night, when traveling. Lots of big truck parking. Large & spacious parking spots. A large play area for children & many well set up picnic tables, with shelter.

There is something about this Beaver that kids just love, lol. It's overwhelming because it's just huge and soo many people. The bathrooms always have a line so be prepared depending on when you visit. Clean. Take time to walk around because there is soo much stuff!! Our favorite really are the fresh made potato chips. They have a great crunch and makes an easy snack while driving. Nephew also enjoys the brisket. We always get some jerky since they have so many different flavors and you can sample! I do wish they had more samples of their stuff. If I can sample, I'm more likely to buy. Our last trip, I feel like they had more items for sample. So this may vary depending on when you go. We traveled over a long weekend so I think that would help sales. You should be able to find something you like here, lol.

Plus everyone, including the workers, are happy to be there and there's no long lines. Lots of merch and food. I got a foam baseball, a flashlight key chain, a cooler bag, my $1.19 XL Diet Dr. Pepper, and Beaver Nuggets for the neighbors, while the wife nabbed Mini Waffle Cones and Butter Toffee Pecans, which I highly recommend. This being my third time at a Buc-ee's, I was smart enough to go hungry and got a brisket sandwich from the busy busy foodworkers. Once second largest at 60,000 square feet, this particular Buc-ee's, the relief point between Dallas and Austin, ranks 11th in size out of 54. A mix of Outlaw Country with the busy Donki stores of Japan, I affectionately call these a "Delta Dawn Quixote."
