I've been a customer of Wilber's for several years. Up till now I've always found them to be…read morereasonable in price, professional, reliable and trustworthy. I don't know what's happened but, they are no longer the company they used to be. I recently hired Wilbers to repair a loose newel post at the bottom of my stairs. When Danny the estimator came he explained that it might be an easy fix or more involved if they needed to install a new 4X4 interior post. Though I requested that he provide estimates for both scenarios he only sent the estimate for the worst case scenario. I let that go because I trusted that they would do the right thing should it prove to be an easy fix. When they arrived it turned out that all that was needed was to replace the wooden board in the basement with a 2 ft. 2x4 and tighten the bolt that runs inside the post. The workers were here for 1 hour and for this Wilber's decided that a fair price was $820. It seemed absolutely outrageous to me that they would charge me $820 to tighten a bolt so I tried reaching out to Wilber 3 times and asked that he call me back to discuss. Well he never called me back. I can only assume that he knows full well that he did is wrong and is unable to justify his outrageous pricing. It's sad that Wilber thinks this is how you should treat a loyal customer and it's certainly disappointing to discover what an unprofessional and unethical person he is. I certainly will never utilize the services of Wilbers ever again and I would caution anyone thinking of hiring them to think twice. Wilber is a man that lacks integrity and therefore someone you cannot trust to do business with.

Day one I start getting leads from texas where my company does not operate. Out of curiosity we started calling these leads and several of them stated they had no interest in solar and had not opted in for it. I texted Jim and he told me he would fix it 2 times in a row. At this point I've gotten 30 leads. Not a single one of them a valid interested homeowner and 19 of them from texas still coming in. He took $3500 from us for this so called "service" and is completely refusing to return the money as he's "already paid the provider". I would not reccomend this company and at this point it feels like nothing more than a scam. I've given several opportunities to cut ties with Invention Solar and get my money back and they are all being actively turned down. I will take this review down if my problem is ever addressed. If it's still here you can assume it hasn't been.
