The low star is because customer services is repeatedly BAD. This time I was charged for shipping after having picked it up from the store. DIscovered it on my charge card and when I called in, the woman who answered the phone had quite the attitude. Nevermind I have to call there almost every month because they end up getting something wrong. Chris, the owner, is usually able to resolve any problems and is pleasant to deal with, but if any competition comes in his business will suffer greatly due to the poor customer service. I've had nothing but positive experiences in the retail department, though. There is one gentleman, I can't remember his name, who was extremely helpful and a joy to speak to, but not sure he's still there.. If he is, he should train the rest of the staff. read more

I have been getting a medication from this pharmacy for almost two years. I needed a refill on trimizide from my pcp. I called over a week ago . I was told it takes longer to hear back from my pcp. I called on Friday. I said I usually take it on Sunday. Today is Tuesday I called again . Pharmacist Chris said he hasn't heard back from your doctor. he needed her to write why I was taking the medication. I said I have been on this medication for over a year and you don't know why I'm taking it? I said what happened to patient care. ? You would rather check a box than wondering how not taking this medication would affect my health? I will never use this pharmacy again. There rate is 2.5? How did they get it that high? Horrible service. Extremely unresponsive. Thank God I dont need this medication to live. If I cant trust them to do something as a simple follow up, how can they be trusted with getting my formulation correct. This isn't the first time I've been treated rudely by the phone staff at the Chester location. I called to check if my prescription had been received, since my doctor's office confirmed it was faxed that morning. I spoke with someone (I believe her name was Amberor Anna) who was short, dismissive, and acted like I was bothering her. Instead of simply checking, she snapped that they had "over 100 faxes to go through." When I explained my doctor had already sent it, she cut me off and said "Honey you don't understand we have over 100 faxes to go through." The tone was condescending and completely unprofessional, This wasn't about being busy; it was about basic courtesy and willingness to help. RX3 phone staff has consistently been unfriendly and unpleasant to deal with, and I wish there were other local options so patients didn't have to put up with this. I do want to note that the women that my husband picks up the prescription from is very pleasant. Thank you. read more

I just called the Chester location to see if they have received my prescription. Spoke with Anna, who by her tone of voice and reluctance to help me without pushing her some, acted as if I was bothering her. I was told by my doctors office at around 9:30 this morning that a script had been sent. I was told by Anna that they do not have it. I asked if it could have been sent to the north side location. She said it could have but didn't know because each location has it's own server. I then said I'll call over there to check and then she said, "they don't have it either, I just checked there." It was just her tone of voice and unwillingness to go a few extra steps to help me out. I've dealt with RX3 in the past and they are just not a friendly pleasant place to deal with. Terrible customer service (read the identical comment in other one-star reviews). I'm using Rx3 ONLY because that's where UVA eye sends my blood to make autologous eye drops. Twice now, I have been seriously inconvenienced by customer service problems on their end. The first time, Rx3 never even contacted me about the autologous drops to be sent. I had to call UVA, find out where UVA had shipped my blood and track it blood and this pharmacy down. Then, there were problems with my charge card and shipping. Subsequently, I switched to Granger Pharmacy and intended never to go back. However, this past visit, , UVA did the blood draw and sent to Rx3. Again, no call from RX3 - even to confirm my identity, address or credit card - until last Thurs when they wanted to ship the refrigerated drops and discovered a problem with my credit card (it had been stolen 9 months ago). Did anyone bother to check before they made the autologous drops? No. They called after hours at 5:34 p.m. asking me to call. Again, at 6:12 they called (why? I have no idea) and left another message that my card is not going through. Right, it was stolen 9 months ago. I got a new one and moved on with my life. RX3 should have made contact before ever making these very expensive (hundreds of dollars) eye drops! So on Friday, 3/18, I call to give RX3 my new card and try to get through RX3's complicated "push 1, push 2" phone service. I couldn't reach anyone, so left a message. I tried three more times and finally got a live person who took my credit card and entered it. I received email confirmation. Saturday 3/29, yet another message! Asking for credit card information! They want to mail my drops, which, by now, I thought that been shipped! So while driving my car I return their THIRD ca;; AGAIN and push through all the numbers trying to reach "Archie" with no successful but got a live person who took the information AGAIN, with the result being that the eye drops that should have been mailed out THURSDAY, 3/27, were not mailed out unteril Monday 3/29, hopefully for receipt tomorrow.. I am not confident they will ever arrive. I will let UVA eye clinic know of this problem. It's unacceptable. And, clearly, based up on the poor reviews here, this has been a constant problem for a number of years. read more

The two stars are for John. He's very nice but that lady who work the front desk is mean and nasty. She don't listen she just ready to take your money. Charged my credit card accidentally.and never apologized. Went back and she literally snatched my credit card out my hand. I told John they were money hungry. His reply was Isn't everybody. Their GLP1 product is very watered down and is ineffective. That's the tirzepatide. I would recommend going with a pharmacy whose product has been tested and analyzed. These folks are nice but shady. Gave me wrong size needles and told me come back and get the correct ones Instead of mailing me the correct ones since it was their fault. They are almost as much as the regular pharmacy for their tirzepatid. I would stay away from them for that product because it's a total rip off. Think the rude lady name was Judy very unprofessional and mean. read more

BOBBY! He is one in a million! Our 2 year old was recently diagnosed with type one diabetes and he has to use diluted insulin. The amount of stress the diagnosis has been on our family has been unbearable at times. But, thank the good Lord for Bobby! He has been my peace of mind when it comes to getting what our baby needs. The staff are great to work with. Product (medications) are high quality - compounding pharmacy is the best I've seen (the technique and cleanliness). Anyone can walk in and watch from a far through the window - nothing shading being produced behind closed doors. As a provider, I trust that each of my patients are leaving with the best! read more

My cat is very sick with stomatitis and my vet called in a prescription for her. I walk in the next day at 5:50 pm and the lady was checking another customer out so I stepped aside. As I am stepping aside she said " can I help you?" I was kind of taken aback as she wasn't finished with her customer, rude. I explained I was picking up a prescription for my cat and gave her the name. She goes to the back and asks whom the prescription was for and I explained again, it was my cat. She goes to the back and tells me she doesn't have a prescription for me. I go to my car to show her the email from my vet and I come back in and hear another lady say "I found it!" They look at the info and the first lady comes out and says I spelled your name wrong, but its not ready. I said "it was called in yesterday and its 5:55 pm and its still not done?" She proceeds to tell me "well we had other prescriptions before yours." I said "my cat thanks you" and walked out. Ridiculous!! read more

Fifty percent increase in price from May 1st, 2020 to yesterday's price for the exact same cat medicine ($40, now to $60 for methimazole). Had I thought to ask the price ahead of time I would certainly have gone elsewhere. I understand a nominal increase, but this is absurd, and when I asked they essentially blew me off with "must be an increase in ingredient costs"... it's a single ingredient generic drug compounded into a paste for transdermal application. Might be more willing to play if they were less rude but they also have an attitude that suggests customers are burdensome. I'd encourage using them only as a last resort, if ever. read more

Rude customer service! Price quoted for prescription medication was $75.00! We left and went to the 24 hour CVS, the charge for the same medication, same quantity was $11.00!!! Hopefully, we won't have to ever go back! read more

In the midst of Covid-19, and with a sign on their door requiring customers to wear a mask, none of the employees dealing with customers wore a mask. I had a prescription called in by a doctor on a Wednesday. I called Thursday to inquire and was told it would be ready Friday afternoon and they would call to let me know when it was ready. I called Friday afternoon to check on it, and I was given an attitude for calling and reminded that they already told me they would call when ready. No call Friday. No call Saturday. I go in Monday morning and they tell me they have no record of me. I have to stand around and wait for almost an hour. I would never return to this location. Terrible customer service, but apparently the only compounding pharmacy in town so I guess they don't care. Sometimes they don't call to let me know my prescription is ready and when I point this out they take an attitude. I have been mis-charged at times and also received an angry response at mentioning this. I would like to find another compounding pharmacy because of their dreadful customer service. read more

I visited the Chester location for the second time on yesterday and for the second time the price quoted to me by the pharmacist over the phone was less than what I was asked to pay on my visit. When I told the clerk the price I was quoted she insisted that I was not told such and the price she was quoting was what I was told. While she seemed to aggravated by this I did not appreciate her tone or in essence being told I did not hear what I knew I heard. I would wish that your staff would coordinate to avoid this scenario in the future and if this clerk is the face of your business I would hope for some improvement there as well. They worked hard to get my prescription covered, and can do compounded medications that other locations cannot. They even offered to have my medication delivered to me. Great service and everyone was kid and helpful. read more
