Capital Medical was originally contacted at 10:45 am - the technician arrived at 3:50 pm. The patient was down to her last tank (the concentrator broke down around 10:00 that morning) and would have run out of oxygen by 4:00 or 4:30. On top of that, the replacement concentrators did not work - thank God, Hospice contacted another company who was able to replace the concentrator with one that was operational. I plan on speaking with the head of Hospice regarding this incident which could have been disastrous, since the patient is on oxygen 24/7. Medical Supply is located in the city of Richmond so it should not have taken 5 hours to arrive. This company is a danger to the well/being of dying patients and should be closed down immediately. They should be ashamed of their actions or actually, non/actions!!!

I noticed that they also handle medication compounding if you need your or your furry friends medications specially made. Their physical location has a compression clinic, a vaccine clinic, and a fair selection of over the counter medications, supplements and health supplies as well as mobility aids (wheelchairs, rollators and more).
