The countertops are tall which works well for taller people. It is a block from the Mineola train station which makes it so simple to go into nyc. Overall I recommend living in this building. I love it. I feel safe.

I was a perfect tenant; paid rent on time every month and left the apartment in pristine condition when I left (got the full security deposit back). After leaving I asked for a letter of recommendation for the new building I'm applying to live in (out of state). Kathleen was nasty for no reason and refused to give me anything, claiming it was no longer company policy to give letters of recommendation. This would be understandable except for the fact that they literally require letters from other landlords for tenants applying to live in their building. Extremely hypocritical and selfish.

While most of the units are apartments, a few are available as rentals, which makes it feel more like staying in a high-end condo than a traditional hotel. The amenities are outstanding: a fully equipped gym, game room, club room, reading lounge, and a beautiful pool area. The unit itself came with everything we needed, including a washer and dryer, fridge, electric cooktop, microwave, Nespresso machine, and reliable WiFi. The staff was also incredibly friendly and professional, making the experience even better. If you're looking for a comfortable, upscale place to stay in Westbury, The Selby is an excellent choice.
