This realtor does not fix house appliances when regular maintenance is required (ice maker, dish disposal, etc.), communicate in a calm and direct manner, or know how to do math. She managed to mix myself and another one of her tenants up when giving back house deposits which ended up in me being shorted $1,000. Her solution to this problem was not to correct the problem she caused, but told that other tenant and myself to "venmo each other to make it right ourselves." However, this was not a problem caused by us and should not had to have been solved by us.

As a SLO native with local roots who wished to move back to my hometown for my career, this experience has been disheartening. Most recently, they immediately raised the rental price for our lease renewal. After we chose not to sign the renewal, they began scheduling showings almost right away, despite the fact that our current lease does not end until June. When we questioned the urgency, Gina stated that they needed to begin showings nearly immediately due to "prospective summer tenants." This felt extremely inconsiderate given that we are current tenants who pay rent on time and had just signed our lease in February. The lack of respect for tenants still actively living in the home was both frustrating and disappointing. Additionally, showings were frequently scheduled but, in approximately 90% of cases, the agent never arrived. This repeatedly disrupted our schedules. Both of us work demanding jobs in healthcare and the military, and we also have an ESA dog. Because of this, we needed to be present whenever strangers were expected in the home. Rearranging work obligations and personal commitments for showings that didn't even occur was frustrating and unnecessary. Additionally, they have been less than helpful with things like basic repairs & yard maintenance. We have tried to be cooperative and respectful throughout the process, but the lack of reliability, communication, and professionalism has made this experience extremely difficult. Tenants deserve reasonable notice, consistent follow-through, and basic respect for their time -- especially while still under an active lease.
