Maybe I'm wrong of course, but it goes against what I learned on Google...nails should not be rounded..they should be cut straight across in most cases and not cut too short. Mine are crazy short. I had my first pair reconditioned for $100 and the next pair was sent in 30 days later and they were $125. (A 25% price increase in 30 days).??? To top that off, they never called to say they were ready, so I had to call them, which took 3 calls. It is so evident that the new ownership group/private equity has combined multiple practices and deliver very poor support and service. When you are there it just "feels" like 2nd or 3rd tier operation. I will certainly NOT be back, was good, BUT NO LONGER.

One thing I did notice is that all the therapist were doing the same stretches on everyone of the clients which means yo me the therapist are all on a script so it felt like a factory. It appears that the Doctors rotate through the locations. Had an appointment with Dr. Hogue at the Denver Office but something came up at work and I needed to be there. I'm semi-retired and only work two days a week but I needed to be on a conference call with an important customer. The Denver Office was able to reschedule me but in order to get in as quickly as possible, I would have to drive to the Huntersville Office. No big deal in as it's only a bit less than 10 miles and besides, the appointment was still with Dr. Hogue. Drove over and they worked on my toenails ( I had polio as a child, so I ended up with very difficult to trim nails). Very good and very professional. Appointment was at 11:45am and I was out at 12:30pm which afforded me the opportunity to have lunch at a nearby restaurant.

Made an appt with this practice; the nurse (I guess it was a nurse, she didn't bother to introduce herself. - rude) asked me to choose which ankle, so I chose. She took Xrays of that ankle and left. Dr. came in, after exam, recommended surgery. Told me to give the scheduler a couple weeks to reach out to me. In the meantime, got a rejection from insurance for the one of two MRIs that were requested of insurance but these were never mentioned to me. Insurance requires Xrays for both ankles apparently - why didn't the practice take care of this?" Why wasn't I made aware of the MRIs? Three weeks after appointment, having not heard from the scheduler, I called. Outgoing vmail said to expect another week for a return call. Seriously? 4 weeks for a phone call? Dr. was fine on first impression, but everyone else seems incompetent, uncaring or maybe too busy to do their jobs? I don't know, but I'll try another practice, hopefully one that respects their patients and their time.
