They expect someone to get off work, fight traffic, go into their store, have the exact amount in cash, or risk paying more. If you pay online, over-the-phone, or in their store with a debit /or charge card its a fee. they dont want anyone to pay their bill. Why? So they can collect more money. My family has been with Allstate for 24 years and I've never had a single problem then the previous agent/owner retired late last year and Mr Jubron took over and at the beginning of the year Mr jubron changed my payment plan to every month instead of every 6 months like it's always been. When I made my payment for the first 6 months they claimed it was refunded but it wasn't refunded and my bank confirmed that the payment was made successfully and then I had to pay another 6 month payment just so my insurance doesn't get cancelled and then told me that I have to make monthly payments and they increased my total yearly amount by $300 because I didn't pay in full before my scheduled 6 month payment then they told me I have to pay monthly which would cost triple the yearly amount. I made my normal 6 months payment and 2 months later I had to make another 6 month payment just so my insurance doesn't get cancelled so I ended up paying for the entire year and was told I still had to make monthly payments. They would not help me fix the problem, I'm a physically disabled person and permanently in a wheelchair and on a fixed income. For anyone considering to join Allstate especially having Mr jubron as their agent please do not give him and Allstate your business because they have absolutely no problem taking advantage of customers who have been with them for 24 years and always made their payments on time and they definitely have no problem and or shame to take advantage of disabled people. This is clearly a scam that's happening.
