Ryan air is the worst airline out there. I have flown a lot and many times with frontier and spirit and they are way better. I realize Ryanair is smaller but doesn't matter. They don't even try. From weighing your bags and ticketing them your self to putting them on the conveyer belt yourself and to waiting in lines to do this behind everyone else needing to do it. The flight attendant on our flight was training a young guy named Jon and she was so rude and has no clue how to properly teach someone how to do their job. I could see she doesn't know how to do her own. She had a screaming fight with a passenger and was yelling next to my ear for 5 min. Unprofessional. She also made 2 people in the front seats put their carryons in the bigger areas in the back and not let them turn them to the side and leave them in the front compartment? made no sense. She also did nothing to help them when it was time to deplane. They had to wait until the entire plane was empty to get back down the asile to even get to their bags. Also for security they couldn't even keep an eye on their bags. Unacceptable! We all sat and watched her scold jon for this and that the entire flight when he did a great job. You could tell how uncomfortable he was. It was funny how many people deplaning said to him you did a great job as eveyone watched this women. I took her picture if anyone with Ryan air even cares. The seat room is also terrible. Fly on Aegean, it was so much better and nicer and roomier. Ryan needs to go away!

Ryanair is truly one of the world's most efficient low-cost airlines, when using Ryanair, you know what you're going to get - you're not going to get the fanciest plane with the best features, the fanciest Airport or Terminal within the Airport, but they keep their costs down so they can pass it onto the customer, which makes travel affordable. Being from Manchester and loving a city break across Europe, I pretty much can't escape from Ryanair due to the number of flights and destinations they serve from Manchester - the flight times are usually pretty good, too. I often fly through Ryanair, not by choice, but because they have the best flight times, and the value is the bonus. The website and app are easy to use, and I feel informed through notifications and emails when my flight is delayed, on a recent trip to Barcelona, I was informed of air traffic control issues which could cause a delay to my flight ahead of time. Ryanair does manage to keep costs down by numerous factors - they pretty much have passengers leaving the plane as they get the new customers on, so there isn't always time to clean the plane thoroughly. I did have an issue on a flight to Italy, where the floor was filthy from the passenger before me eating, but it was just like travelling on a bus, it isn't going to be squeaky clean all the time. Flights are generally on-time, though, as Ryanair are efficient and doesn't want to pay anything extra - such as the fees associated with being on the ground for too long. They even use the same model of plane throughout to benefit from purchasing economies, etc. Ryanair also tends to use Airports slightly further out from the city centre or perhaps worse/cheaper terminals within Airports - this is the worst part about flying with Ryanair for me as I hate Terminal 3 at Manchester Airport, as it isn't fit for purpose and has been left behind in the Airports multi-billion pound renovation project. I've also had issues in Milan and Lisbon with the airport Terminal not being up to standard compared to the rest of the airport or alternatives - lack of facilities and cramped/messy queuing have been the main issues which come up. Due to Ryanair being so cheap - you pretty much have to pay for any extras, and their hand baggage allowance does seem slightly less generous compared to other airlines. I recently booked a flight to Porto, and I found it funny that it cost more for my 20 kg hold bag than my actual ticket - maybe I should have bought my bag a seat! In terms of the in-flight experience, the seat is no less comfortable than on other low-cost airlines, and there is no WiFi or USB charging - again, a bit annoying, but it's a low-cost airline. If you're going to travel with Ryanair, expect the bare minimum, and you'll be pleasantly surprised. The staff are generally friendly, and for the price, it's hard to complain. 4*

Ryanair was horrible extremely long lines an that man tadeáš said he would check every ones bags but only checked ours then he made us pay to check them ugh. they jammmed the busses to the max and waited for everyone to be on the 3 buses until we could all leave the dock to go to the plane Ryan air is the worst airline everrrr. tadeáš ............I'm coming for u

Fast forward 7 years l, reviewing it again. And it's still 5 stars. The tickets are like €50 instead of €10 a few years back, but it is still great value for the money spent. As always, one must be very careful booking and checking-in online - mistakes and typos can be expensive here. Ryanair didn't change much. I didn't think I would ever make a mistake but, yes, I finally did it - selected wrong passenger types for my wife and son. Luckily, their customer service corrected the mistake free of charge. Paid some €300 for a flight for three from Alicante, Spain to Marseille, France and back. Without luggage, only very same bags :) There was a long wait at the airport to board but ili guess it was the airport's fault. Will fly with Ryanair again.

Calling them "The Spirit Airline of Ireland" is actually an insult to Spirit! They're good for a budget airline. They'll get you to/from different cities in Europe, but they'll do it with a bitter look on their faces. I'm upset because I paid for an extra for one piece of luggage, and they refused to honor it. We also had small bags that counted as carry on with every other flight we took, but not with Ryanair! Thus begun our philosophy of just pack a backpack when going to Europe. That hasn't failed us! They'll get you where you need to go. You'll be shocked the plane made it though with a hard landing (yes, 4/4 times we used them)! Great for budget, but expect no free snacks and to pay out the...yeah... for anything other than your ticket! read more

I wish I could give a zero rating, not for the flight or crew, but for their complete and total lack of customer service, for their deficient AI bot and their fake automated customer service line, that continually disconnects you. I bought 6 tickets, but when it came to checking in online it wouldn't let me check in my grandson, because it kept saying that a minor couldn't fly by himself. . .there were four adults on the same ticket. I tried different devices, I tried calling, I tried sending a message - all to no avail. But I thought no prob, we'll clear it up at the airport. Nope. They charged me an additional $60. per person. I showed proof of the calls, and showed that I tried to contact them via the internet. Nope. When I got home I continued to try to get ahold of them. Nope. Thank goodness for AMEX. It is not only what you do, but how you do it. . .and their customer service is just appalling. We will never fly them again. read more
The taxi was able to pull directly up to terminal 1 Ryanair and simple entry into the baggage weighing area which was not busy but confusing. The bags can only be weighed three hours before departure and then you manually scan your bags into the conveyor belt without a human present to assist. Luckily, I was able to bypass and go through one of the two human reps in the 40 minute or less lane, who allowed me to place my bags onto the conveyor and she tagged them - probably since I'm old. There are a few Ryanair staff members walking around to answer common questions. The luggage area is clean from debris and garbage bins nearby in addition to bathrooms. Basically, dont arrive early. read more

This airline is a thief. They do not respond to customers and only communicate through AI chat. They charged me additional fees, and the agent at the front desk told me to contact customer service because I would receive a full refund. However, customer service denied my refund request, claiming that I had agreed to their policy. I asked them to provide proof that I accepted those terms, but they never responded and simply closed my case. At this point, I am considering taking legal action against this airline, even if it costs me more than the refund they owe me. If anyone can advise me on where and how I can file a claim or sue this airline, I would greatly appreciate your help. read more

What a bunch of crooks !! Unbelievably unhelpful, they make an app to check in. The app doesn't work you come to the airport way before their two hour time and try again. The app crashes down everytime you try to do a check in. They are just trying to scam people. Might as well buy more expensive tickets from another reputable company. Avoid at all cost !! read more

If I could choose 0 stars I would. We paid for 4 cabin bags from Nantes to Dublin with no problems on the size of our bags. While we were at the gate boarding in Dublin, the gate agents pulled 2 of our cabin bags and said they were too large. They charged us 60€ each extra, so 120€ more at the last second. Basically I paid for another full plane ticket. What a joke. One set of rules on the way to your destination and another set of rules to go home. NEVER AGAIN! This airline sucks read more

Zero Refunds -- Even Within 24 Hours of Booking Booked a Ryanair flight on Christmas Eve for travel six months in the future. Realized shortly after that I needed to cancel. Ryanair refused outright, citing fine print that allows no cancellation or refund even within 24 hours of booking. PayPal deferred to Ryanair's policy. This may be "within their terms," but it's aggressively anti-consumer and completely out of step with reasonable expectations. If there's any chance your plans could change, be aware: once you click buy, your money is gone. read more

The customer service is atrocious. The app barely works. A flight attendant threatened to throw me off the plane if I "gave him lip" because I was frustrated that we had to move seats because the ticketing agent placed our extra baggage seat (which we paid for) in the emergency exit. He said "it's not my job" more than once. The plane itself has no amenities- no free beverages or snacks, not even a place on the back of the seat to place personal belongings. This airline makes Spirit look like a limo service. If I could give zero stars I would. read more

Email to Ryan Air Dear Ryanair Customer Service, I would like to file a complaint regarding an incidence at the boarding gate (Gate 212) Lisbon Airport Terminal 2, for flight 7329 LIS to DUB on 14 December 2025 at 15:40. One of your male ground staff stopped me for an IRP check, which I understand is a protocol and "randomly" implemented. However, the other male ground staff was utterly rude. He asked me the following questions: "How long are you going to stay in Ireland?" I answered a year, because of work contract as a researcher. He said you've been living in Ireland for a year? No, I said I will live for a year. And then he asked me, "When did you arrive in Ireland?" I answered 1 August 2025 for my work with an Irish university. And he looked at my passport and said, no you arrived in June. Just for context that I arrived in June this year for a 4-day holiday. He didn't clarify that he was asking for my arrival this year including holidays, which I find the question ambiguous. He then continued to call me a liar. And I said that the trip in June 2025 was for a holiday and he didn't clarify his question. I find this encounter appalling and might be a mildly racist, to be honest. This is my first time to experience such rude behaviour. I would like to ask for you to train your ground staff properly and make sure that they engage with your customers with utmost respect. PS This has been an unconventional trip, having our flights redirected from Madeira to Lisbon and now this incidence. read more

Their foul app would not accept our check-in, so at the airport they were outrageously unreasonable and rammed us for USD $ 108 EXTRA just to get a simple boarding pass on a short flight for two. A Disappointing and Frustrating Experience - Never Again I will never fly with Ryanair again. Our experience felt like a deliberate scam. Apparently, passengers are required to check in online more than two hours before departure--but this crucial detail was buried in fine print at the very bottom of an email sent the day before our flight. Like many people on vacation, I wasn't checking every line of email correspondence, and I never saw any clear, proactive warning from the airline ahead of time. If you do not check in prior, you are charged 55 Euros per person. We arrived at the airport 2.5 hours early, only to be turned away at the counter and told we were "too early" to check in--despite four agents standing around doing nothing. They could have easily helped or at the very least given a heads-up. When I raised the issue, one agent coldly replied, "It's not my job." I responded that taking care of customers should be everyone's job, to which he smugly replied, "I sleep just fine." (Obviously more to the story). That level of dismissiveness was truly appalling. To add insult to injury, Ryanair just posted better-than-expected Q1 results--which seems easy to achieve when you're nickel-and-diming your customers with predatory policies and poor service. There are plenty of budget airlines out there that don't treat their customers this way. I highly recommend avoiding Ryanair altogether. read more

Absolutely the worst airline experience I've ever had. Their so-called customer support is non-existent--unhelpful, rude, and quick to mark issues as "resolved" without doing anything. Ryanair is a scam machine that charges for every little thing. My original ticket was $90, but I ended up paying $120 in hidden fees. On top of that, at the gate they forced me to pay an outrageous €90 fee for my carry-on, even though I had priority boarding and had already purchased luggage the right way. I've been traveling for over 10 years, flown to 18 different countries with the exact same carry-on bag, and never once had a problem with any other airline--only Ryanair. This airline is dishonest, greedy, and disgusting in how it treats its passengers. They make money by scamming customers with surprise charges and then shrugging off complaints. I will never fly Ryanair again, and I strongly recommend everyone avoid this disgrace of an airline at all costs. read more

I have read and heard many Ryanair horror stories and my husband and I were admittedly a bit nervous about our upcoming flight from Portugal to Dublin. As others have stated, they will certainly nickel-and-dime you if you don't pay attention to the fine print and your must-haves for your travel as you book your flight. Something to note is that if you do not check in on the app the day prior and have them instead print your ticket at the airport, they may change your seats and split you up from your travel buddies. Download the app. Check in when prompted 24 hours in advance. Also, look at the app a few days prior. We did so and saw that they switched the aircraft and happened to have two exit row seats (row 28, seats D and F) available for only 9 euros each additional. Lucked out and snagged them. They did NOT, however, confirm our seats on the screen or send an email with confirmation so we had no clue what we would end up with when we arrived at the airport. Ask at the desk upon arrival if the same happens to you. You are a bit like a herd of cattle with this airline. Go to non-priority line if you only have a small personal item (backpack/purse). Go to priority if you have a carry-on suitcase that will fit in overhead. They board those folks first to try to get you space in the bins. You board outside on the tarmac. Our flight had two sets of stairs. One for the front passengers, one for those at the back half of plane. The negative is that no one was on the tarmac checking tickets to direct passengers to the proper stair line, so the poor flight attendants were dealing with people in row 5 entering from the back stairs trying to go forward and people in row 30 entering in the front going back. OOOFF. Traffic jam galore. Our flight attendant, Rebecca (10:05 Dublin flight on 02/11/2022) was incredible. Her jump seat was next to my exit row seat and she was so friendly (and gave me free chocolate. Thank you!). Not only did I appreciate her as a human, but the patience and poise she showed to disorganized, diva travelers and off-duty pilots with unrealistic expectations on a full flight was amazing. We would fly Ryanair again when in Europe, wanting cheap travel options between countries. Just know you will pay extra for bags, checked suitcases must be under 44 lbs, and anything to eat/drink on the plane will cost extra as well. The price listing online is pretty clear. read more

First and LAST time I'll EVER USE RYANAIR. I'd GIVE IT A ZERO IF POSSIBLE. Ryaniar sucks A$$. Worst airline in the world. They treat you like crap. I purchased 2 premium tickets, costing double the regular price (you know, flying without baggage, like, who does that???!!!) and then they wanted me to pay to choose seats. On a flight that is only 50% full, they split my wife and I to opposite sides of the aircraft separated by 14 rows and having to enter on different ends of the aircraft so that I can't help her lift her bag into the bin. Total Jerks. Then on check in I had to navigate across 11 pages of "add ons", everything from insurances to overweight baggages to extra bags to car add ons to transfers to god knows what else they were trying to pawn off on me. I think I had to pay extra for my oxygen mask to deploy if one of their common emergencies arises. And what do they do about luggage? Weight them to the gram? What jerks. Like we have a 20 and 40kg scale at home, calibrated. Whoever likes this airline probably travels around their own town on the back of a scooter. read more

Worst service I have ever experienced. The lady at the gate should never be allowed to work in customer service. My carryon was the same size as everyone else's and she told me to start unloading my stuff into the garbage can if I wanted to bring it with me. As I was preparing to "check" my bag without choice she started screaming at me that I was going to miss my flight and she needed my passport "NOW!" Ended up ripping my bag out of my hands and proceeded to charge me to check my backpack that was smaller than everyone else's waiting in line. I get in the plane to discover there was plenty of room for my bag to fit fully under the seat or up in the cabinet. The staff was extremely rude and should go through customer service training before being allowed to work with the public or find a job in which they do not need to do so. Bottom line, pay more for a better airline read more

Paid extra for premium seats (02A, 02B, 02D) on Ryanair. Onboard, we were forced to move to worse seats despite no valid reason -- my son is 9 years old, not an infant as Ryanair later claimed in their excuse. The service I paid for was not provided, yet Ryanair refused to refund me, hiding behind generic T&Cs and copy-paste emails. Selling a product, denying it, then refusing a refund is mis-selling and an unfair practice. Appalling attitude, no accountability. read more

Awful. Because of a flight attendant's action my purse was stolen aboard a flight from Vilnius to Vienna on 20 July. The flight attendant insisted I put my small cross-body purse up with my backpack in the overhead compartment and stood there as I zipped it inside the pack. Then without my knowledge (and for no apparent reason) she moved the bag several rows up. By the time I reached that row to exit the plane, someone (who had obviously seen me zip in the purse) unzipped my bag, stole the purse, and kept going. I noticed this before leaving the plane, but the crew just said "Make a police report." Which I did, of course--but the purse was long gone. The airport policeman told me "I probably shouldn't say this but we have plenty of problems with theft on Ryanair. We aren't fond of them" read more

I've flow Ryanair for years and they are turning into more and more of a scam airline. If your backpack is so much as a centimeter larger than their carry on allowance, they will charge you 60 Euro before you board the plane. There are always delays, forcing people to stand on the runway in pouring rain for 30 minutes before the plane is ready to land. There are loud, inappropriate drunk people standing on the flight and the flight attendants do nothing. Gosh, where do I begin! My flight from Brussels Charleroi to Manchester was scheduled for 21.10 on Saturday 3 January 2026. Initially there was a half hour delay. It is true that I was informed of the delay by email, but that was about all. The delay itself did not overly bother me , as long as I could catch the last train to Blackpool at 23.17. However, there were further delays allegedly caused by "de-icing" which seemed to take for ever. Finally, approx. two hours after the scheduled time, the journey began. I just missed the last train, but I cannot be accused of lack of foresight because, as I said, I had allowed for nearly two hours to catch the train back to Blackpool. So I was stranded at Manchester airport not knowing what to do. I could not take a taxi to the nearest hotel as I could not be sure there would be a room available - besides, I needed to be back in Blackpool for an important appointment by 10 am, which would have been impossible even if I stayed in Manchester overnight. Finally, I did find a taxi willing to take me to Blackpool, but that cost me all of £200. I feel that Ryanair should have done infinitely more to ensure the welfare of their passengers and not just dumped them there at the dead of night. It just isn't good enough and I doubt whether I shall ever travel by Ryanair again. Oh and I want compensation for the taxi fare to Blackpool as well read more

My wife and I had a round trip planned from London to Lisbon. Shortly before our vacation, my mother in law was diagnosed with cancer, so we had to cancel our entire vacation. I had travel insurance through my credit card for this type of situation, so I tried to contact RyanAir customer service to obtain a simple written statement via email that they had not already given us a refund. When I got to the site I observed there were no customer support lines, but instead an AI chat. I asked for a human, since my situation is fairly uncommon and a robot can't be expected to help me. I was in a queue 100+ long and I waited at least 20 minutes. I was first connected to Diana J., who directed me to a form that refused to process my request. When I brought this up, Diana J. rudely said something to the effect of 'just do what I tell you' and hung up on me. I stayed on the chat another hour or so trying to connect to another human rep, this time waiting through a queue of 120+. When the second representative, Zakaria L., finally connected, he directed me to the same form. I expressed that this was a time-sensitive matter and that if I waited the 7-14 business days (meaning 1.5-3 calendar weeks), the insurance adjuster might deny my claim. I explained that time was of the essence. Not only did RyanAir's representative refuse to provide me with another option other than the same form, they refused to connect me to a supervisor. The entire time, it felt like this process was purposefully annoying and time consuming and obtuse in order to dissuade me from trying to get assitance from RyanAir. When I made my objections to the lack of help I was getting and the refusal to connect me to a supervisor, the RyanAir rep simply kept repeating that it was not "possible". When I complained about the procedure the representative rudely told me, "You don't get to decide what is the correct procedure for a company." I am never going to book travel with RyanAir again. read more

I told him that I purchased it online but insisted to charge me an additional 60 euros. My bag fits in their measuring tool. I will avoid Ryan air at all cost because of this horrendous experience with the rude staff. I specifically booked a cabin baggage but they forced me to checked-in my luggage and was late on my appointment. read more

I had the worst ever flying experience ever, and it's with Ryanair. We flew from Rome Fiumicino to Malaga. I had purchased the " priority" previledge which allowed me to bring a small carry on roller bag and one small bag that fits under the seat. When we went through boarding, I heard the check-in staff talked to each other in Italian, not knowing I understand Italian, that they are Americans, she has a small bag(meaning I). So they stopped us and checked our carry on size which was a little wider than allowed. I had to pay 70 euros per bag plus we had to check them. After we got on the plane, I noticed that many other Spanish or Italian passengers had larger suitcases than ours but they were able to carry them on. I felt we were singled out because we are Americans. In addition, we could not understand the flight attendant's announcements in English whatsoever. He talked so fast and strung words together. I wonder what's the point to make announcements but didn't care whether the passengers can understand him. When we landed, we had to wait for 10 minutes for the raynair shuttle buses to show up to bring us to the terminal. read more

The worst bag policy I have ever experienced. The 75$ penalty for being one inch over is beyond ridiculous. Clearly how Ryanair rips people off. read more

Flights seem cheap until you realize they charge you for everything. This poverty airline will be soon charging for the air you breathe on the plane. Not to mention, the staff makes sure that your bag fits in the small box like their lives depend on it. You can maybe get away with a bloody coat in a grocery bag without being charged. Use another airline. Ryanair is a complete joke. read more

**Ryanair: A Budget Airline with a Price Tag on Customer Experience** **Contact Information:** * **Phone:** +1 (855) 500-0028 * **Website:** [Insert Ryanair Website Link Here] * **Customer Service:** [Insert Ryanair Customer Service Link Here] **Review 1: The Pragmatic Traveler** Ryanair. The name conjures images of cramped seats, questionable food, and the relentless pursuit of the lowest possible fare. And you know what? For the budget-conscious traveler, it often delivers. If you're looking for a quick, affordable flight between two European destinations, Ryanair can be a viable option. You're not going to be pampered, but you're not going to be ripped off either. The real kicker? The fees. Oh, the fees. From checked baggage to seat selection, Ryanair piles on the extras, making the initial low price feel less appealing. It's a game of "spot the hidden cost," and you'll need to be meticulously prepared to avoid surprises. The in-flight entertainment is often non-existent, and the food is, well, let's just say it's not going to win any culinary awards. **Pros:** * **Low fares:** This is Ryanair's primary strength. If cost is your top priority, they can deliver. * **Extensive European network:** A huge selection of routes, particularly within Europe. **Cons:** * **Hidden fees:** The real cost often exceeds the initial advertised price. * **Poor customer service:** Many complaints highlight difficulty in resolving issues. * **Poor in-flight experience:** This is a significant downside, with limited amenities and little to no entertainment. * **Uncomfortable seats:** A real drawback for long-haul flights. **Verdict:** Ryanair is a practical choice for budget travelers on short hops, but expect a significant compromise on comfort and convenience. **Review 2: The Disgruntled Customer** Ryanair. Just the word makes my blood boil. This airline exists solely to maximize profit at the expense of the passenger experience. From the moment you book, you're bombarded with mandatory fees. Checked baggage? Extra. Seat selection? Extra. In-flight refreshments? Extra. It's a relentless barrage of charges that leave you wondering if you're actually getting a deal. And the service? Let's just say it's nonexistent. Trying to get in touch with customer service is akin to wrestling a greased pig. Their website is convoluted, and the phone lines are often jammed. Add to that the cramped, uncomfortable seats, the near-absence of in-flight amenities, and the overall feeling of being treated like a piece of cargo. **Pros:** * (There aren't many) **Cons:** * **Excessive fees:** The hidden costs are rampant and often outrageous. * **Poor customer service:** A monumental problem. * **Uncomfortable travel experience:** From the cramped seats to the limited amenities. * **Disappointing overall experience:** The whole experience is frustrating and unpleasant. **Verdict:** Avoid if possible. There are better options, even if they cost a little more. **Review 3: The Cynical Observer** Ryanair: A study in efficiency. They've streamlined everything, haven't they? From the minimal service to the meticulously planned fee structure. You're not getting luxury, but you're getting what you pay for (or more, if you're not careful). The focus is unequivocally on cost-cutting, and that's reflected in everything from the lack of amenities to the cramped seating. Is it good value for money? Sometimes. On a quick hop between nearby cities, it might be a reasonable choice. But if you're looking for a comfortable and enjoyable travel experience, Ryanair is definitely not your cup of tea. **Pros:** * **Efficient operations:** They get you from point A to point B. * **Low fares (sometimes):** The price can be enticing. **Cons:** * **Poor value proposition:** The hidden costs make the advertised price deceptive. * **Uncomfortable travel conditions:** A major drawback. * **Limited customer service options:** Difficult to resolve issues. **Verdict:** A viable option for the truly budget-conscious traveler, but it comes with significant compromises. **Review 4: The Balanced View** Ryanair has a reputation, and it's often a mixed bag. On the one hand, you have the attractive low fares, particularly for short-haul flights within Europe. This is a huge draw for budget travelers. However, the experience is far from luxurious. The seats are cramped, in-flight service is minimal, and the hidden fees can quickly erode the initial appeal of the low price. **Pros:** * **Low fares:** If cost is paramount, Ryanair can be a good choice. * **Extensive network:** A wide selection of routes, particularly in Europe. **Cons:** * **Hidden fees:** The advertised price is often misleading. * **Customer service can be problematic:** Issues are often difficult to resolve. * **Overall experience can be subpar:** Comfort and convenience are sacrificed for cost. **Verdict:** Ryanair is read more

The official 'customer service**Ryanair** (toll-free) number is **+1 (855) 470-0503™ or +1 (855) 505-48.55 ** for additional assistance. Support is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for passengers needing help with reservations, flight changes, cancellations, rebooking, baggage inquiries, refunds, and other travel-related concerns. The customer service team assists travelers with managing existing bookings, updating itineraries, exploring alternative travel options, and addressing questions throughout the travel process. As an Emerald member with the oneworld alliance, I have always received complimentary seat selection on partner airlines. Unfortunately, this American Airlines experience fell short of expectations. I paid an extra **$140** for seats that appeared to offer a better arrangement during the booking process. However, after my wife and I boarded the aircraft, we realized the seating layout differed from what had been displayed at purchase. Paying additional fees only to encounter an uncomfortable seating situation was disappointing. My assigned seat, **6K**, lacked adequate cushioning, making the journey more uncomfortable than expected. I relied on extra pillows and blankets for lower back support throughout much of the flight. On longer trips, seat comfort can make a significant difference in the overall passenger experience. The customer service process proved equally frustrating. I first contacted an agent in Detroit seeking clarification regarding my flight details and aircraft information. I was then transferred to another department, believed to be located in Chicago, where I was informed they could not assist and was given yet another number to call. That representative ultimately redirected me back to the original Detroit contact. Only after several calls and repeated explanations did an agent finally provide the information I had requested from the start. After boarding, I found the aircraft itself attractive and well-maintained, and most of the flight attendants appeared hardworking and professional despite managing a busy cabin. However, the overall environment deteriorated as the flight progressed. A number of passengers were noisy and inconsiderate, and the lavatories became increasingly untidy within a few hours, with wet floors and sinks requiring attention. Although the cabin crew deserved recognition for their efforts and professionalism, the inconsistent customer service, uncomfortable seating experience, and declining cleanliness ultimately overshadowed the positives. Based on this experience, I would strongly compare alternatives before booking American Airlines for a similar trip in the Future. The official "customer service" **Ryanair** (toll-free) number is *1 (877) 456-2077™ or +1 (855) 470-0503** for additional assistance. ##High Expectations, Average Experience## As an Emerald member of the oneworld alliance, I have consistently enjoyed complimentary seat selection when traveling with partner airlines, so I expected a similar level of service from American Airlines. Unfortunately, this flight did not meet those expectations. I paid an additional $140 for seats that were displayed during the booking process as offering a more desirable layout. However, after my wife and I boarded the aircraft, we discovered that the actual seating configuration differed from what had been presented online. Paying an extra fee for seats that did not match the advertised arrangement was an unfortunate start to the journey. ##Seat Comfort Left Much to Be Desired## My assigned seat, 6K, lacked the level of comfort I anticipated for a long-haul flight. The cushioning felt inadequate, and the limited lumbar support made it difficult to remain comfortable for extended periods. I relied on extra pillows and blankets throughout much of the flight to ease the discomfort. Considering the premium price paid for seat selection, I expected a noticeably better seating experience. ##Customer Support Was Difficult to Navigate## Obtaining basic flight information turned out to be far more complicated than necessary. My first call was to an American Airlines representative in Detroit, who transferred me to another department, reportedly based in Chicago. There, I was informed they were unable to assist and was given yet another contact number. That conversation ultimately redirected me back to the Detroit office. After several transfers and repeating the same questions multiple times, I finally reached someone who could provide the information I had originally requested. ##Well-Maintained Aircraft, Inconsistent Cabin Experience## The aircraft itself appeared modern, clean, and well maintained, and the flight attendants remained courteous, attentive, and professional despite managing a full cabin. As the journey continued, however, the onboard atmosphere became noticeably less pleasant. Several passengers were disruptive and noisy, while the lavatories gradually became untidy, with wet floors, messy sinks, and cleanliness that declined as the flight progressed. ##Overall Impression## The professionalism of the cabin crew deserves recognition, as they handled a demanding flight with courtesy and efficiency. Nevertheless, the uncomfortable seating, confusing customer service process, and declining cabin cleanliness ultimately had a greater impact on the overall experience. Based on this trip, I would carefully compare other airlines before selecting American Airlines for a similar journey in the future. ##Reliable Journey & Smooth Arrival## The flight departed with only a minor delay and arrived close to schedule. Inflight snack and beverage services were delivered efficiently, and baggage delivery after arrival moved relatively quickly. Unfortunately, customer service before departure proved frustrating. I initially contacted a representative in Seattle regarding flight details and aircraft information. I was then transferred to another department, believed to be located in Portland, where I was informed they could not assist and provided another contact number. Daí, um belo dia você acorda e decide criar uma companhia aérea low cost. GREAT!!! A extorsão é descarada!

Please contact Call Airlines at 855-657-6600 before your flight so arrangements for any additional OTA support can be discussed properly. As an Emerald member within the oneworld alliance, I have consistently received complimentary seat selection benefits when flying with partner airlines. Unfortunately, my experience with Royal Jordanian completely broke that expectation. I ended up paying $140 for two seats that were clearly displayed during booking as a two-seat row configuration. However, upon boarding, my wife and I were surprised to find that the row actually had three seats. This completely defeats the purpose of paying extra, as no one intentionally pays for a middle seat. It felt misleading and frankly unacceptable. My assigned seat, 6K, was another major issue. The seat had almost no cushioning at all, making it extremely uncomfortable for a long-haul flight. I had to stack multiple pillows and blankets just to avoid severe back pain. For an international airline, especially one associated with a premium alliance, this level of seating quality is disappointing. Customer service was equally frustrating. I initially called a representative in Detroit to get basic information about the aircraft and flight. Instead of helping, I was redirected to another number, which I believe was based in Chicago. When I called that number, I was told they couldn't assist and was given yet another contact. That third contact then directed me back to the original Detroit number. After going in circles, I finally reached someone who provided the information I had been asking for from the beginning. This lack of coordination and efficiency reflects poorly on the airline's support system. Boarding the aircraft brought mixed impressions. The plane itself was modern, clean, and visually impressive. Most of the flight attendants were professional and clearly working hard to manage the passengers. However, the overall passenger experience was significantly affected by the behavior of other travelers. Many passengers were loud, inconsiderate, and did not maintain basic cleanliness standards. The condition of the restrooms during the flight was particularly disturbing. Within just a few hours, the bathrooms were in terrible condition - urine on the floor, clogged sinks, and an overall lack of hygiene. It was shocking to see such poor maintenance on what is supposed to be a premium international flight. This level of uncleanliness made the journey extremely uncomfortable. Overall, this was one of the most disappointing airline experiences I have ever had. From misleading seat selection and uncomfortable seating to poor customer service and hygiene issues, the experience fell far below expectations. I would not choose Royal Jordanian again under any circumstances. I would rather pay significantly more or take a longer, less convenient route than go through such an experience again. There are far better alternatives available, and I strongly recommend considering other airlines for travel. read more

The airline passenger experience in early 2026 shows clear signs of improvement while still facing familiar challenges. Recent customer surveys and online reviews highlight a generally positive mood among travelers, with many noting smoother journeys compared to previous years. Feedback remains diverse across different stages of travel, revealing both strengths and areas needing attention. ###Overall Satisfaction Most passengers express solid contentment with their flying experiences. Many describe trips as comfortable and well-managed when everything runs according to plan. Full-service carriers often receive praise for delivering reliable and enjoyable flights, while budget options appeal to cost-conscious travelers who accept basic service in exchange for lower fares. Overall, travelers seem more forgiving when core expectations around safety, comfort, and timeliness are met. ###Booking and Pre-Flight Experience The booking process earns mixed but generally improving feedback. Passengers appreciate user-friendly apps and websites that allow easy seat selection and flexible changes. However, complaints frequently arise over unclear pricing, surprise fees and complicated refund processes. Many travelers value transparent communication and straightforward policies during the pre-flight stage. ###Airport Experience Airports receive decent marks for cleanliness, signage, and shopping options. Travelers often highlight helpful staff and comfortable waiting areas as positive aspects. On the downside, long security lines, crowded terminals, and insufficient support for elderly passengers or those with disabilities remain common pain points. Families and business travelers particularly emphasize the need for better facilities and faster processing. ###In-Flight Experience This category generates some of the strongest praise when executed well. Passengers frequently commend friendly and attentive cabin crews, comfortable seating in premium cabins, and good-quality meals on longer flights. Entertainment systems with varied content and reliable Wi-Fi also earn positive mentions. In economy class, feedback centers on legroom and cleanliness, with many noting gradual improvements. Budget carriers draw criticism for cramped seats and lack of complimentary services. ###Punctuality, Reliability, and Disruptions On-time performance strongly influences overall opinions. Travelers express high satisfaction when flights depart and arrive as scheduled. When delays occur, clear and timely updates from airlines help maintain goodwill. Passengers report greater loyalty toward airlines that communicate effectively during irregular operations. read more
