    Disappointing issues with baggage check in on line. Terrible customer service on the phone. Great pilot and crew.

    Our experience with Aer Lingus from Dublin to Chicago was great…read more Check-in/baggage check was a breeze with minimal wait, friendly service and helpful guidance for our trip and baggage claim upon landing at our final destination, which was Nashville via connection at ORD. They have self service kiosks that allow you to check-in, however we were unable to utilize as we did not have boarding passes yet due to the variety of booking through Amex. We did luggage drop and boarding pass printing at the counter. There was no hassle and it was efficient. Once checked in and bags dropped, we hit the gate and the agents there were helpful in keeping everyone updated. The plane arrived and we boarded on time and with ease. I appreciate the boarding process of back to front, I wish more US airlines would adopt this! It makes the stress of using the overhead bins so much more tolerable. The plane was a wide body in 2-4-2 layout, which is the best variety of aircraft for a lovely 7.5 hour flight. The plane was clean and in good condition, with the exception of one of the toilets being out of order in the back. This created a bit of a line at times. The meal service on the plane was better than expected with a full meal including a main pasta or chicken dish, side salad, bread, dessert and water. This was followed by a baked chicken roll/hot pocket and then ice cream later in the flight. All of this was in between coffee and drink services. The flight attendants were friendly, helpful and efficient. No baggage issues from start to finish. Even after a 7.5 hour flight and a 7 hour layover, our bags made it to our final destination without issue. Overall, experience on Aer Lingus was great. When heading back to Dublin/Ireland in the future, we are excited to utilize Aer Lingus.

Were told by airline we'd be reimbursed for hotel stay yet our claimed was denied. Tried fighting this yet were never reimbursed. I should not like this airline however had a better experience this time. The staff are friendly as are the pilots. We found that the pilots on all 4 flights were informative and had very smooth landings. Still disappointed on not receiving the refund last year though.

As an Emerald member with the oneworld alliance, I have always received complimentary seat selection on partner airlines. That changed with . I paid $140 for two seats that were clearly shown as a two seat row. When my wife and I boarded, we discovered the row actually had three seats. No one pays extra for a middle seat -- ever. My seat number was k6 and the seat has no cushion whatsoever, I had to stack pillows and blanket to prevent back pain I flown with airline from Germany back to LAX since my layover was in Germany from London. I did not like the airplane at all because it's so outdated. The plane was a 787 which is a big plane but the entertainment system at the seat is outdated and not efficient. The touchscreen was also very slow when selecting movies or interacting with it. I had a window seat and the leg room was limited because there was metal box on the side. The seats also aren't the best for long flights. The flight attendant on my flight was very nice so that was the best thing with my experience on the flight. The place where you can plug in your headphones isn't ideal and also the location of the power outlet is bad. -- I needed assistance From and decided to call this business at 18336066200. The response time was decent and the person on the line tried to help as much as possible. I had to be transferred once, but the second representative handled things better and gave me the correct information. It wasn't perfect, but it was still a workable experience. I'm leaving this review to share how things went for me personally.

The bags can only be weighed three hours before departure and then you manually scan your bags into the conveyor belt without a human present to assist. Luckily, I was able to bypass and go through one of the two human reps in the 40 minute or less lane, who allowed me to place my bags onto the conveyor and she tagged them - probably since I'm old. There are a few Ryanair staff members walking around to answer common questions. The luggage area is clean from debris and garbage bins nearby in addition to bathrooms. Basically, dont arrive early.

    I could have sworn I reviewed this airline before. I know I wrote to BA directly, but here goes…read moreregardless. Let's jump in the WABACK machine to October 2003; I spent the week in Co. Kildare with my now-ex and two of her friends, having found a round-trip ticket departing from Ashland KY of all places for $400. Yes, I said $400. No missing 0 at the end. The trip is the best vacation I have EVER taken, and I long to return. My return trip rolls around on November 3, (I think, it may have been the 2nd, but who cares?) and I board the flight from Dublin with what I think is just a sniffle. No big deal. A few hours after waiting in Gatwick, I board the flight back. The flight was British Airways. Now comes the fun part. My sniffle has by this time turned into a full-blown head cold. I'm stuffed to the gills (or at least nostrils), and can't breathe to save my life. I'm 1000% miserable. The flight attendants, every chance they get, come to check on me and spoil me with their attention. They offer me everything from pots of tea to pillows and blankets to a Vicks inhaler (which I still have, 15 years later, and is still as potent as it was then!). I have never been treated so kindly on a flight before or since then. Whenever I fly internationally, if I can I always choose BA. They have earned lifetime loyalty. On the return flight from Charlotte NC... was another story. US Airways. I'd rather not think about that one too much.
