I explained it's raw. I can't eat it like this. If you can please cook this more. I didn't ask for another burger. I was being nice about it. He grumbled at me took it out back and with in two mins was back the the same burger that looked completely man handled and proceeds to tell me I was wrong, he cooked it right and it is cooked properly what I am seeing is ketchup. I am not an idiot. It was raw. Obviously there was no point to try and ask again. We just couldn't believe the lack of service and the even more lack of pride in what they do. I wish I would have taken a picture. Clearly red and raw. We both agreed it was a clear sign of how they run their business and will be sure to tell all our friends. There are a lot of chip trucks that respect their customers and have pride in the food they make. Stay clear of this place.

Variety store isles are tight with lots of things to knock off shelves with your purse so be careful. Like: Ice cream shop: all Kawartha Dairy Flavours, and there's a lot to pick from, two take out windows that serve and pay, so a bit slow but they really fill the cone full even in a single scoop ($2.45). Variety Store: They also sell small to large tubs of Kawartha dairy(even though food land is down the street) Love love the signs for sale, decent prices compared to the city. From cottage to man cave there's something you'd want or to buy for someone as a gift. Also sell bags of ice out front, convenience items, magazines, cards, and candy boutique. I picked a sign from the leaning pile, it had a slight scratch but when I got to cash, she said they have more bubbled wrapped without me saying a word. Ever since my husband and I had our son we have ordered his custom birthday cakes from the Lakeshore Metro Bakery, and they have never disappointed. Theresa the Head Decorator is fabulous, she listens to our requests and lets us know what is in her capabilities. We always make sure to bring our own toys or specific candies for the cake to make our orders possible and easier on the bakery, but they really knock it out of the park on flavours, quality, and making our vision come to reality. Thank you so much to everyone at the Metro and Metro Bakery that helps us makes our sons birthdays spectacular!

I'm sorry, but not nice customer service what so ever…read more Bought a bouquet of flowers I was gonna put in vase for my grandmas 88th birthday, found out that my mom had already gotten some WAY nicer ones from Costco for the same price, so I went to go ask for a possible return on them not even 3 hours later after purchasing/after I was done meeting with my grandma. And the customer service lady snapped on me and yelled at me because I hadn't put them in water right away. Very loudly staring me down saying "Oh you thinks it funny huh?!" and "Now they're probably gonna die!", as I stand there not laughing one bit, maybe a smile, but that's my usual self, I always smile. Like I'm sorry lady. I was just trying to do something nice for my grandmas birthday by getting her flowers and I get ripped a new one in front of the whole store for not putting them in water. And I know I'm no flower expert or anything, but I kept them in a cold cooler bag pretty much the whole time, and they looked exactly the same as I bought them 3 hours earlier. I've honestly never had such an awkward experience in a grocery store in my entire life. I don't know if the lady was just having a bad night or whatever, but it was completely unnecessary/unacceptable behaviour. Ruined my night if I'm being honest.
