When my home was built, Massey had a one-year contract for termite bait traps. I told them upfront I was already under contract with another pest control provider and planned to switch my termite service when the year was up. The Massey guy even offered to give me a quote just for comparison--but instead of a quote, he showed up the next day with a full-blown contract and tried to pressure my wife into signing it. Classy move. Fast forward to now: my new provider installed fresh bait traps, but Massey just couldn't let go. Without asking, they came onto my property and removed my new traps, thinking they were still theirs. No call, no check, just outright taking property that didn't belong to them. Had he spoken to the owner, I would have told him that my service provider already took the initiative to uninstall them and box them up in case Massey tried to charge or repossess them. If you're looking for a pest control company that respects contracts, boundaries, and, you know, basic ethics, do yourself a favor--go with literally anyone else.
