They even called me the day before my reservation to confirm the time that I would be coming, which made me worry less about a truck not actually being there (something that has happened to me at two other truck-rental businesses). My only, small complaint is that the truck was marked as having a full tank of gas when it turned out not to. When I refilled the tank at the end of my trip, I definitely replaced the gas that I used and then some. It wasn't so much money that it was worth disputing -- and I should've been more thorough myself when checking that paperwork -- but I recommend double-checking the fuel gauge when you get in the cab at first.

I was ok with all of this, but then received a call with less than 24 hours before my reservation pick up time where a representative told me the truck I had reserved would not be available. Rather than offering me an acceptable alternative (like a larger truck at the same rate), he only offered to charge me more for a bigger truck, or that I was S.O.L. I had made a purchase of a valuable piece of equipment that I need a truck to move. It was contingent on me being able to move it on a specific date. So now I will have to pay UHaul twice as much for a rental truck. Just ridiculous, will never do business here again.

However, there were cars available from different locations in the surrounding area. This location was the closest to our airport hotel. The inside is indefinite need of an upgrade, but the staff is hard-working and friendly. I watched one man with the phones and the queue of customers expertly for about 20 minutes before a colleague join him from the back. Spoiler alert: while we were able to find cars away from the airport, we were not able to find a large vehicle for our family of six. Thus, we ended up renting two smaller vehicles from this location with me and my husban each driving one. I opted for a midsize SUV, and it was not ready even though we weren't at the desk until about an hour after our scheduled reservation time. That said, the staff was communicative and worked quickly to get the vehicle ready for me. The vehicles were clean, late models. Our only issue is not being able to get the radio to work in one.
