When I first set up the rental, we were supposed to get it from Lee summit and I got a phone call saying that I had to go to the Olathe location, which is a much farther drive for us. I was not excited about the extra long drive, but it is what it is. I had schedule to pick it up at noon but the Olathe location closes at noon so that would have been impossible to do so we showed up a little early. When we picked it up, we were surprised by a extra $300 deposit that we were not told or aware of ahead of time. The manager was the one that gave us the rental and offered to split up the payment so that we didn't have to pay out so much that day. He said that he would call me halfway through the trip to pay the other portion and it could be paid with just our debit card. It did not have to be the credit card on file. I never heard from him so I called the next day and when I did, I was told that that was incorrect, it had to be paid with the card that was on file. They could not take any card information over the phone. When I returned the van to the lee summit location, we were told it was going to be more than what we had been quoted originally, but they didn't know why. They told me I had to reach out to the Olathe location to find out what the extra charge was for. When I called them, they said it was because I picked it up earlier than I scheduled. So they charged me for another day. The guy that I talked to about it said that he would talk to his manager about what they could do about reimbursing me and he would call me back. A week later I still have not heard anything from them and when I try calling them, I'm waiting for over ten minutes for someone to even pick up the phone. Instead of hearing back from them, I received another charge for the toll roads that we drive through, which was warranted, but was charged to my card with no warning. On the top of all of that, there is such a thing as crosswind assist on the Sprinter van and that thing is, the most terrifying thing I have ever experienced. It is supposedly a safety feature that keeps you from drifting into the other lane when there's a high crosswind. How it prevents you from doing that is it locks the front and back tire while you're driving down the highway at 65 miles an hour. Nobody told us about this feature and we were blindsided by it, and it is extremely scary when you're driving and all of a sudden, your van just breaks out of no where on a highway. We will definitely not be using enterprise ever again in the future. If you choose to use them, please be aware and pay attention to your bill.

I researched this online briefly, made an appointment, dropped my car off for service, and was able to pick it up same day with a 1 1/4" hitch receiver installed. Sounds simple, right? Well, that's because it is. I needed this hitch receiver so that I could use a tray or a bike rack for a myriad of purposes, and at just over $250 to install, this is exactly what I needed. Samantha was super helpful, very responsive, and even answered my silly questions with a smile on her face. Outstanding service and outstanding experience!

Most auto transport companies simply function as brokers which is great until something goes wrong and then you are left to deal with the problem on your own - NOT with Guardian Auto Transport! Not only is their customer service excellent but I especially want to acknowledge Andrea who always goes the extra mile to stay in touch with updates all the way until our vehicle is received. A few years ago we had a bad experience with a transport company brokered by Guardian that damaged our car in transit. We received it on a weekend so I assumed that I would have to wait until Monday to hear back from Guardian Auto Transport customer service but to my surprise I not only had follow up calls on Saturday from Andrea but also got a response from a supervisor on Sunday as well. The transport company didn't want to take responsibility for damage done but we had a video prior to our car being unloaded showing the damage & Guardian Auto Transport really went to bat on our behalf & the transporter had to pay for the damage they caused by loading our car improperly. We just had our car shipped from Los Angele to Seattle & it arrived in pristine condition & the driver was a great communicator as well. I thank all who were involved with getting our vehicle to us safely & in a timely manner. As the old saying goes, you get what you pay for & Guardian Auto Transport & their fabulous employees really deliver!!

I had a very frustrating experience with Acertus Transport Solutions. The pickup took 5 days longer…read morethan expected, which immediately put things behind schedule. On top of that, the originally scheduled delivery date was not met, with little to no proactive communication about the delay. Communication overall was poor throughout the process. Updates were inconsistent, and it often felt like I had to chase down information myself. Additionally, the instructions I provided were not properly relayed to the driver, which caused further complications. As a result, I was forced to drive over an hour out of state just to retrieve my vehicle--something that should never have been necessary. The response to this was this fell within acceptable specifications. STAY AWAY from this company!

Within 10 minutes, they had me hooked up to a nice covered trailer, checked all the lights, whipped through the paperwork and it was all at a great price. The coupon stated the following "Choose Between Two Options *$11 for one month of storage (up to a $116.95 value) or *$39 for three months of storage (up to a $350.85 value). For both options, customers may choose between 10'x10', 10'x15' or 10'x25' units. I called the company to use my coupon for a 10'x25' storage unit. The manager told me that I could only get a 10'x10' storage unit as this was the only size available. I asked if I could get two of these at the same price as this would equal a 10'x20' size. The manager stated that I would have to purchase another Groupon coupon if I wanted more space or for me to contact Groupon for a refund. At this time the company has sold 50 of these coupons and is offering only the 10'x10 size unit. This is a classic example of what I consider to be a bait and switch offer. The store manager also stated that the Groupon sale webpage for this offer stated that these units were on a first come first serve basis. This is absolutely false as no such information was stated in the offer. I contacted Groupon and told them how this company had not fulfilled their promise in their ad and therefore I cancelled my order. Groupon looked at the ad placed by Wise Moving Company and U-Haul Center and agreed that the company indeed did not have any such information in the ad stating that this was a first come first serve basis. I received an e-mail from Groupon stating that my credit card would be credited for my purchase. The Groupon representive I spoke to also offered her apology for having been treated badly by this company. I will not be recommending Wise Moving Company as a company to patronize.

I contacted Jimmy Page about transporting a classic car from Oregon to New Jersey. I wanted an…read moreenclosed carrier and I needed the car to arrive no later than a specified date (my travel arrangements depended upon this). Mr. Page provided both verbal and written assurances that the car would be delivered well within my time parameters. At the time I spoke with Mr. Page there were ten days available to get the car to its destination and Mr. Page assured me the transport time would be 4-5 days (this is in July mind you, not the dead of winter). I went so far as to implore Mr. Page not to "overpromise." I wanted to take personal delivery of this car and I could have made other arrangements. My car was not picked up on the specified date, but a day later by Gorban Transportation. As five days stretched into six and seven and eight, my confidence in Mr. Page and Gorban Transportation began to wane. I texted and emailed Mr. Page repeatedly for updates. At one point he testily replied that "transportation is imprecise" and then largely did not reply to my calls, texts, or emails. "Total Care Trans?" My car was finally delivered on day 13. I am 63 years old, been in business for 40 years, and I have never dealt with someone as dishonest as Mr. Page. He is a slick, glib, used car salesman (and that's an insult to used car salesmen). Run, do not walk, away from him and his company.
