I contacted Jimmy Page about transporting a classic car from Oregon to New Jersey. I wanted an enclosed carrier and I needed the car to arrive no later than a specified date (my travel arrangements depended upon this). Mr. Page provided both verbal and written assurances that the car would be delivered well within my time parameters. At the time I spoke with Mr. Page there were ten days available to get the car to its destination and Mr. Page assured me the transport time would be 4-5 days (this is in July mind you, not the dead of winter). I went so far as to implore Mr. Page not to "overpromise." I wanted to take personal delivery of this car and I could have made other arrangements. My car was not picked up on the specified date, but a day later by Gorban Transportation. As five days stretched into six and seven and eight, my confidence in Mr. Page and Gorban Transportation began to wane. I texted and emailed Mr. Page repeatedly for updates. At one point he testily replied that "transportation is imprecise" and then largely did not reply to my calls, texts, or emails. "Total Care Trans?" My car was finally delivered on day 13.
