I had gotten new tires/brakes put on the car at different points over the winter. Right before the 4th of July, my engine start shaking and so my boyfriend brought the car in on Tuesday, June 24th. We had had off island plans for the holiday but didn't hear anything from the guys at the garage so we pivoted plans, not a huge deal. 2 weeks went by with one or two texts that said "we'll call with an update" however, no call was received. 3 weeks in, they called and said they couldn't duplicate the problem but found and issue with a wheel bearing- we asked that they not fix the wheel bearing but just see if they could diagnose the engine problem. When nothing was still done about the engine, my boyfriend went on YouTube and sent the mechanics videos on common fixes..... It is now July 31st, we picked up the car and have been charged $800 for..... wheel bearings, spark plugs, labor and parts. Half of which we had asked them not to fix, the other half that should have been an easy enough fix that didn't take a month and a half of absolutely no communication. I will happily pay what is fair but this is so wrong on so many levels I cannot fathom spending another dime here, nor should you. If I could give 0 stars I would.

As you can see, the local center is marked "permanently closed" on the Android map, as I screen-captured today, I can only guess : ***why it is "permanently closed" when it is not,. AmeriGas does NOT WISH TO DISPLAY THE NEGATIVE FEEDBACKS POSTED on their location map and the business review, which they cannot have a control other than marking it, permanently closed. If AmeriGas HAS MANIPULATED the opening/closing of the business, as the last reviews were left 6 months ago, they are a dishonest business. ***Of course, the local AmeriGas center was open to receive our payment checks when we drove up to the building in the Spring of 2022. *** But, we had noticed their center number, 508-693-5080 was no longer answered by the local staff. When we called 508-693-5080, today, wishing to check the lock-in rate and the gas delivery, AmeriGas Cleveland, OH call center answered and suggested us to sign up "on-line account access", but we had signed up when Vineyard Propane was switched to AmeriGas, many years ago, but, after logging in, in 2022, this NEW INVASIVE disclaimer and other small letter restrictions were forcing me to agree not to challenge them, and, without agreeing the absurd terms, I could not proceed to the main webpage, to check the past history, delivery request, or payment, New sign up will make a customer to give up their right, or give up their lock-in rate, free tank rental remaining as a existing customer, and give in to AmeriGas' one-sided policyfor their "advantage, and defense." ***AmeriGas disclaimers even did not mention how they would protect our personal information when we call the call center. ***Previous Vineyard Propane and succeeding AmeriGas had always created lock-in rate for 12 month each year. But, now one of the call center reps today denied they would not honor the lock-in rate of the existing customers. I told this rep today, when I tried to call 508-693-5080 over a month ago, the agent gladly forwarded our message to the local center, and emailed us the copy of the original contract terms, with Vineyard Propane, and lock-in rate with AmeriGas after the ownership change several years ago. But, today, Aug 30, 2022, their call center reps' words are all conflicted and not honored the existing Vineyard Propane/AmeriGas customers. This made us VULNERABLE, and this is why we needed to verify the fact with the local service provider center in Edgartown Location, but they faked that the location/operation is "permanently closed". Too bad, even the former manager of AmeriGas (local operation after Vineyard Propane) in Edgartown has left the company since. I guess he did not want to handle the aggressive, tyrant changes we experience today. Now is time for us to look for an alternative transparent, reliable, communicative business owner.

When it comes to fueling your car, people may think that a gas station is just a gas station, but…read morethat isn't totally true. The reason this is the case is because it seems like some stations have lower fuel quality than others. This Cumberland Farms in East Falmouth has to be the best place to fuel in the area. It has self service pumps which tend to be quick. The station itself is easy to get in and out of and the staff is generally polite. The convenience store here is large and has a ton of items. Yes the price is pretty high, but what can you expect from a gas station. Overall, this is just a gas station, but it beats fueling up down the road. I have found that my tank lasts longer when I fuel here at this station, unlike some other stations.
