I went here for the first time a few weeks ago. They are under new management and I found the new owner to be very kind, welcoming & funny. I went to other nail salons before that would treat their customers like cattle and not even speak a word to them. At Ryna's their very welcoming! The nail technicians are talented and listen to what you want. I will be returning! Also, they are reasonably priced (which is always a plus because I get long nails). Overall, I would highly recommend!

I basically got a UV gel set with shellac in the color Budapest. I'd never been to this salon before (they very recently opened), but was really glad I went! The owner was so kind, funny and welcoming, and the service was excellent. From start to finish my technician was extremely professional. There's a closer nail salon to me, but I might just be switching over! Overall great experience!

Love Ryna's Nails! Got a great shellac mani and pedi. Had some laughs with my friendly technician. The massages and scrubs I got as part of my service were so nice and their super powerful new chairs were a dream to melt into. They even added a paraffin wax step to my pedi which felt soooo luxurious. Highly recommend!

Missed spot on tip completely, more proned to breaking for me :/

I scheduled an shellac mani appointment with Nancy through their online option (after spending hours on instagram picking a salon/artist - their insta is very catered). I arrived just a minute before the scheduled time but she was still with a client. The man at the front desk was polite and approachable but I waited atleast 20 minutes bc the nail tech was running late. Once the previous client got up they hastily cleaned the only the chair and exchanged the towel that goes under the hands. Every single one of their manicure chairs were full, with definitely less that 2m/6ft in-between clients and no plastic dividers between chairs/clients (which is standard salon/business covid protocol). The actual counter where the tech worked from was not wiped down nor were any of the tools. I had previous shellac on so I did removal as well and the little clips they use were definitely not sanitized prior. Now usually I'm not very picky but because I've been to two other salons once they were safe to open I noticed huge differences. Aside from covid protocols, I asked for square shape (on my natural, medium nails) and Nancy did a good job on the shape overall. But I'm guessing that these techs mostly work with fake nails because the edges are insanely sharp, to the point that if I itch my skin it hurts. Now I am a big CDN Shellac fan and it's usually the only shellac I ever get done, so I even messaged the salon before hand to see if they have the brand which they said they had 30 colours of. In the end I didn't pick that brand specifically because I saw the two colours I wanted in a different brand. The tech did a wonderful job with my 'edges' along the cuticle but did not cap my tips nor really pay attention to the sides of my nails because like I said she was already running late with the previous client. Throughout the filing and painting my nails she either didn't pay attention or just did a rush job so most of my tips on the sides looked jagged and I had to do a bit more filing at home. The very next day I had work and wear gloves (bc of covid protocol) and the shellac is already chipping/cracking on some nails and the sides of my natural nails are visible. Overall I guess I got what I paid for.

Good thing I did because the nail salon was very busy when we arrived. We had to wait about 10 minutes before we were next. I decided to get a shellac manicure with an art design and pedicure. My friend got the pedicure. I am quite satisfied with my manicure but wish the nail art was better. The hearts weren't the greatest and I didn't want to ask the nail guy to redo it since he tried three times. My pedicure was decent but I noticed that my left big toe started bleeding on the side. I spent about $58 (including a tip) for a shellac manicure and pedicure combo. I was expecting better nail art after seeing all the pictures and paying $5 for it. Maybe I'll be back...

They did an amazing job, but after pushing back my cuticles and filing them, my cuticles were still there so I asked them to cut them off. This extra step counted as a manicure so it was an extra $12 charge? Which, okay fine.. but it just added to the cost of everything. For a gel refill (+2 nail fixes since they popped off from my first appt), plus design, plus covid PPE costs, & tip, it came up to almost $150! I don't understand how people can keep getting their nails done with these prices. I was okay paying for it since I needed PERFECT nails for my wedding - and I am BEYOND happy with the outcome, but the price is keeping me from going back unless for a special occasion. (The first time I went for a full set of gel nails & 1 colour with sparkle on top came up to $90 with tip).. so almost double the price if I went to a basic nail salon. You do get what you pay for, but again, not sure how people can keep up with these prices. I would still definitely recommend going to Allure Nail Bar. All the staff are friendly, clean up after each client, and know how to execute your nail look 100%.

The young ladies working at this nail salon are nice, friendly, and talented at nail art. I have gone here two times in the past three months for my bridal shower and wedding. I have been happy with my past two visits. I'm on my third week of having gel polish and it hasn't even chipped! Some things to note - make sure to cancel your appointment at least 24 hours in advance. In April there was a ice storm and I asked to reschedule due to the poor road conditions. However, they said there would be a charge the next time I came back. I ended up going because I didn't want to be charged. I know it's a business but there should be some leniency when the weather is really bad. If you get a manicure they don't charge for polish removal. If you write a review you'll get 15% off (I think...or it's 10% off). Looking forward to my next visit this week!
