Cockroach/ cucaracha después de que nos caminara por los pies y matáramos.

It is a beautiful restaurant close to the river in front of The Golden Tower. We came without reservation. As soon as we approach to the host he mentioned that was not any available table. We were party of 4 and it was one. He never checked. The food was amazing. The service was very bad. At the end of the dinner a cockroach walked over our foot. We killed it. I called the manager and she just said: "I am sorry, I am sorry". She only invited us to 2 coffees. We spent 155 euros.

The rating in yelp is 4 euro signs - it is not that pricey (it does also not offer 4 star service / food) We paid 25€/person Pros It is located directly in front of the river Hmmm more well it is close to the river - I guess I mentioned that before Cons Time ... it took the waiter like 15 minutes to take our drink orders (we were ready to go ) After we ordered - meat paella it took 50 ! Minutes to come out Overall cleaness - the floor is messy Our food was super greasy and the meat had a lot of fat on it The whine and the beer was average And when you get your check ... watch out for a pan y servicio charge ... a stupid fee for serving food ... really ...?

As is the case with most places - it's down to luck to a certain degree. BUT - we had an excellent long lunch here. We had a corner spot overlooking the river and the service was excellent. I always make an effort to engage with staff and it certainly didn't fall on deaf ears. i.e. they engaged back. I ordered a bottle of rosé and the waiter suggested a different bottle at the same price. It turned out to be a very good choice. We asked if they'd do a paella mixta (not on the menu) but the waiter said he didn't think so but would ask the chef. At least he tried. In the end we order arroz negro which was superb. We loved Rio Grande and will definitely return. We also loved the Triana district - it adds yet another dimension to Seville.

The swordfish for 14.50 Euro was thin and overcooked, and served with nothing but french fries on the side.

The service is the reason we left before ordering. There are many other better places to eat here.

Nice views. Horrible service. Food looks sub par but our waiter didn't come back after 30 minutes so we never got to try it.

Where do I begin? Let's talk about the ambience. To call this place rustic would probably capture…read moreit best, it's really probably more like a cafeteria or a school room at a very old school. Tables perhaps a bit close together, not terribly comfortable. Loud, busy. As far as the service, it was our impression that our waiter was the only person serving the 30 or so tables in their dining room. Suffice it to say the service was not fast and not good. Inexplicably, every time we ordered a Coke we were asked if we wanted a Coke Zero. If I wanted a Coke Zero I would have said the words Coke Zero. Even when I asked for another Coke, he again asked "Coke Zero?" It took next to forever to get the check, and forever to get a cappuccino. At one point I took it upon myself to point the waiter to a table behind us that had been desperately attempting to get his attention. This was all not good. As to the food. First, our fault for not knowing what tataki meant. We did not expect to receive salmon that was seared on the outside and raw on the inside. So that one is on us, although we also think the meal came tepid at best. The lamb on couscous was dry and tough. The pork cheek stew was actually pretty good if a bit gluey. The calamari was good. The sushi as they called it was average. What they called the tiramisu was more like a pudding with some liqueur and chocolate on the top, and a little bit of breadish stuff in the bottom. Not my idea of tiramisu, and probably not yours either. So we could not get too excited about these various dishes. But what was particularly frustrating and bizarre was that two people sitting across from us ordered food that looked absolutely delicious. So we got to sit there wondering why we didn't order what they ordered. They ordered a large beef dish with potatoes which is on the menu, and we think they ordered a large octopus meal although we are not sure. Everything they had looked better than anything we had. So it may be that we somehow just picked the wrong items. So it was a strangely frustrating meal. This place has good reviews and we expected good tasting food. Unfortunately it did not work out that way, and the ambience and service were negative contributing factors. I can't entirely write this place off, only because the food other diners received actually looked very good. But I don't think I would go there again.

We ordered their roasted lamb with cous cous, garlic shrimp croquetta (that was the croquetta of the day), pork cheek stew with potato purée and the chocolate panna cotta for dessert. We also ordered their sangria and tinto de verano. Every dish we ordered was AMAZING - tasty flavorful well seasoned melt in your mouth meat bursting with flavors. We devoured every bite and it was hard to pick a favorite. Both the lamb and pork dishes were 11/10. Not just the taste but the presentation of every tapa was fantastic. Their drinks were also great. The dessert was to die for. This place is super packed during peak dinner hours and there is barely any room to stand. Since we walked in around 11pm, we got a seat and were well taken care of all thru the night. Also noticed alot of veggie options on the menu which was great. Service was awesome ambience is chic. I am certain I am going to crave their tapas once I am back home. Highly highly recommend this place when in Seville.

The layout can be a bit confusing, as the restaurant seems to have three dining rooms with separate entrances but only one kitchen. Where we sat was charming, with stone walls and wood-beamed ceilings. We started with the foie appetizer, which was a delightful surprise for my palate. It was a unique combination of foie, cream cheese, and what I believe was pear. It was unusual, but I ended up really enjoying it. The zucchini noodles with pesto and burrata were also very enjoyable. However, the star of our dinner was the 40 day dry aged ribeye, cooked perfectly medium-rare, tender, and absolutely delicious. If we had discovered it sooner, I would have happily eaten here a second time.

The star was obviously the 100-day aged steak. It was done to perfection. Absolutely delicious with a little bit of funk. And my grandpa was a cattle rancher so I've had quite a bit of steak in my life. 9.5/10 The pumpkin dish was also exceptional. 9/10 The risotto was the perfect compliment. Wow. Great texture and flavor. 9/10 The croquettes were good, I didn't like the mayo on top. 8/10 The dessert that was essentially a bread pudding was absolutely delicious.i barely tried the orange dessert but it tasted like a Pillsbury orange cinnamon roll. Dessert and service were 10/10
