I have called Shaun for big and small projects. From taking a tree down, fixing an indoor plumbing leak to installing a new well pump. When our well pump died a couple years ago and we had no water, I called several companies and it was going to be a few days before they could take a look at it. I called Shaun, not knowing if his crew even did that kind of work. Knowing that we had no water, he sent his crew over within a couple hours. The pump was blackened and burned up, the wiring had bare spots that were covered over with electrical tape from the previous owner. They replaced everything, pump, wiring and circuit by the end of the day and had us back up and running. Recently, in the last couple of weeks our water pressure dropped dramatically. It wasn't an urgent request because we had water, just not much pressure. It wasn't the pressure gauge as first suspected, but a leak in the actual tank. Shaun looked at it on Friday and Monday he was back out with a new pressure tank. As long as he was under the house, I asked him to rip out the water softening tanks and replumb. I want my fresh water, not all that salt. He took care of all of that on that Monday. We have had spotty pressure for a while. When I got home from work, I turned everything on washing machine, dishwasher, flushed all the toilets and ran all the faucets, then went and took a shower. No pressure drops anywhere. On top of all of that, Shaun's entire team has always been so respectful and good natured. They are a joy anytime I call them. I hired Shaun originally with a daunting task of remodeling our 1955 bathroom that had wetwalls from 1955. His men are professional, and friendly, there workmanship was of high quality without breaking the bank. They always love on our family dog Piper as well who thinks everyone is coming to see her. I feel I received a excellent value for the amount of work they did. We hired Empire Floors Today before I ever knew about S&M handyman services it's been a nightmare with Empire Floors Today they have damaged a lot of my home between the original installation of ceramic tiles and the second one. The trim freshly installed is also done by the one and only S&M handyman services his work does not disappoint, that was one of the many items that suffered damage. I called S&M about installing 2 storm doors. He gave me the price for installation over the phone and stated when they came in to give them a call. Once the doors arrived, we scheduled install. The guys showed up early and got right to work. One of the doors came with a handle kit, the other did not. Unfortunately, the handle I purchased for the other door was not compatible and I was going to need a new handle. Luckily for me, one of the guys thought they may have had a handle that would work and after confirming with Shaun, my problem was resolved. The guys got both doors hung and ran to get the handle on their lunch break, came back and finished installation. They did a great job, cleaned up after themselves, took all the trash away and I REALLY appreciate the quick thinking and resolve to my handle issue. I wanted to replace my kitchen counter tops, have a backsplash installed and my island cabinet painted. Shaun was quick to arrive and give an estimate, GREAT with communication and the job went very smoothly! There was a small issue with one part of the countertops and without hesitation he was here the very next morning and put in a whole new countertop. He even went out of his way to make a beautiful cutting board with feet from the left over butcher block from the island!! That was a wonderful surprise!!! He takes a lot of pride in his work and it shows!! This is family business, with each family member (son, brother-in-law, etc.) doing just one thing (plumbing, electrical, landscape, carpentry, etc.).
