They house a restaurant that makes fresh Middle Eastern bread. Baklava bar that is insanely good, and their butcher bar is amazing including Hilal meats (research Hilal meat better than how our American meat is processed). Hilal is like Kosher in that it is a religious way they render their meats. Back to the review they added an olive bar and I'm a green Olive fanatic. Try the grilled green olives if you go and you'll get your life. Produce is fresh and reasonably priced. It services middle eastern and African cuisine ingredients primarily but it is a really nice market. Fluffy Grandma recommends.

Seafood, pork, lamb, goat, beef bones, organ meats--you name it, they probably have it. If you're looking for something that makes the average grocery store employee say, "We don't carry that," this is probably where you'll find it. I grabbed pho spices, fish sauce (and was genuinely excited to find a vegan fish sauce option!), two pounds of beef bones, and an onion for about $15. Honestly? I expected to spend more. I also stumbled across a Jamaican section, which completely caught me off guard in the best way. I was there with tunnel vision, otherwise I probably would've wandered around for another half hour convincing myself I suddenly needed ingredients for three different cuisines. The checkout was quick, the cashier was friendly, and while the parking lot was surprisingly quiet, don't let that fool you. This isn't one of those giant, chaotic destination markets, feels more like the neighborhood spot where people already know they can find what they need. It is nicely organized which made my quick stop in very easy. I'll definitely be back. Next time I'm giving myself permission to actually browse instead of speed-running my shopping list. This most recent time I went , there were moldy taro roots on display, and I had to go back to return the sunflower seeds I bought, because they went bad and bugs were crawling inside the shells. Don't want to show pics so I don't gross anyone out. Also, the return policy is 24 hours so I had to go back the next day.

Unfortunately, several staff members came across as unfriendly and unapproachable. Rather than feeling welcomed, I felt as though asking for assistance was an inconvenience. One of the most important aspects of customer service is making customers feel acknowledged. A simple greeting or letting customers know they'll be helped shortly can make a big difference. Instead, there were long periods of being ignored without any communication, which created an uncomfortable atmosphere. My experience left me with the impression that there may be a lack of consistency in customer service standards throughout the store. El Rancho Market has the potential to be a great neighborhood market, but improvements in customer service and employee engagement would go a long way toward creating a more positive experience for customers. I hope management takes these concerns seriously and considers additional training and oversight. I would love to see improvements because the community deserves a welcoming and customer-focused shopping experience.

It looks to have replaced an abandoned gas station mini mart building. It's located in bit of a sketchy area so I wouldn't go in the evening. I walked around real quick and snapped some quick photos. Didn't take time to really look at everything. They have many different Asian items here from canned/ bottled foods and drinks to packaged foods, frozen foods and fresh fruit and vegetables. It's definitely not as big as the major Asian supermarkets but this one is located midway between the Chandler/Mesa ones and the Peoria one. I came just for the Mama Thai Boat Noodle ramen. They just received a shipment the day before. I called to make sure they still had it and immediately drove out to get it. This is currently the only store in AZ I know of that sells it here. Besides this place, you can only find it in Cali. They only had about a dozen or so boxes left when I arrived! I ended buying 2 boxes since this place is far from home. They were $28 each and come with 20 packets per box. The only thing that could use improvement are the walkways, which have a lot of clutter. There are boxes everywhere so it's a bit hard to navigate and could be a hazard. Other than that, would be worth checking out if you live nearby it. It is Thai owned and the owner is really nice.
