Carniceria came highly recommended by multiple friends, so we had to check this place out. It did not disappoint. They sell meats by the pound or made into favorite entrees. We chose few tacos and a chicken burrito. All were delicious and loaded with toppings. The salsa was little spicy for me. Nice to have this new addition in the hood. Place is a Mexican butcher shop, eatery and small grocery. Surprised to see how large the butcher shop is with a great selection of meat, chicken and fish. Ordered a cheese quesadilla, barbocoa quesadilla, carne asada street tacos with pico and quacomole. Could not pass up the ribs, ordered a slab with a spicy dry rub. Got all of this for under 15 bucks including tax. You pick the fish you want and the Fry it for you the Whole fish with beans and rice comes out to 11 bucks and the 320z beer is 3 bucks. Best bang for your buck, we also come here for Carne Asada. The service is great , just tell the guys what you want and they will cook it. I'm so happy I accidentally stumbled upon this as I was going to Panda Express. I am so used to going to the ones in Tucson Az. Their customer service is a lot to be desired, they haven't heard of "the customer is always right". I went and bought some tortillas the total came out to $5.98 I gave the cashier a $20 bill and she gives me 2 pennies back, I told her I gave you a $20 and she tells me no it was a $1 and a $5 so my $20 bill magically converted into 2 bills then she said let's check the video after a few minutes, they tell me they can't check the video, then she tells me that at the end of the night when they count the till if she has extra then they'll call me and give me my full change back... Really! I decided that they probably need that money more than I do, I'll keep my $20 tortillas (I'll eat them slowly) and now they lost a customer, and will never go there again... So if you go there pay with a card but remember purchases under $10 they'll charge you $0.50 extra. read more

After waiting a few weeks for this new Carniceria to open around the corner, it is now in business. My wife and I tried the Carne asada tacos and in rising to food challenges also had some of the roasted pork intestines, not only was the food great but the attitudes of Carlos and Erica who helped us on their Grand Opening were terrific. With three tables in the market, we were able to sit down and enjoy our dinner right then and there. This shop also has a butcher on hand with a great selection of beef, pork, chicken, and fish. They also carry homemade salsa and guacamole. I plan on returning tomorrow to try the bauche (pork stomach) burrito. Don't worry, they also have plenty of carnitas, Carne asada, grilled chicken and other favorites for those who may not be as adventurous. read more

Love this place for all me Mexican dishes. The meat selection is a abundant, fresh and they'll even put it in a marinade for you if you ask. The tortillas are nice and thin and don't fall apart when making a burrito. Their pico and guac are also fresh and best tasting, a must in any Mexican dish.
