DO NOT USE S&S Paving and Asphalt! They did a terrible poor-quality job and have made no effort to correct the issue. They came and gave me an offer of $5,500 to complete my driveway. We discussed the scope of the work to include: * remove existing asphalt and base layer and putting in a new base then asphalt * raise the height of the asphalt so water will not pool The work is completed and water puddles over an inch deep in the driveway. They did not raise the height of the driveway and is below the grass. They did not remove existing material and lay down a new base layer. The asphalt is so thin grass is growing threw it. There is a large noticeable hump in one place because they did not properly prep the surface. Once the job was completed, they asked for $8,000. I previously left a review that was negative but the owner called and asked that I remove the review in exchange for them correcting all the issues. Crazy that i come on here and see these BOGUS negative reviews. for example , anthony doesnt need anyone to invest in his business. Took a deposit and never did the work. Do not trust them . I gave them a deposit to redo my driveway. They never showed up. They never did the driveway. I had to sue them to collect something. They still owe me money. Be careful with these people. read more

Shadiest business owner ever. Don't do business with Anthony. Offered to go into business with my boyfriend and "invest" in his company and eventually revealed that he only needed help to pay off equipment. Witnessed his skid steer being repoed. We also witnessed his son driving a paver absolutely high out of his mind alongside his young boy, 200 degree asphalt out the back of that thing that can melt human skin off, complete disregard for safety when brought to the owner's (Anthony) attention. Pays his employees cash under the table (sometimes doesn't want to pay them at all) and will probably get shut down within a year, God willing. read more

as soon as we called, came over right away and looked at our falling apart driveway He gave us more than a fair price and said he would be there two days later. Indeed his crew came right when they said took away all the old asphalt leveled it and then put on new asphalt all in about seven hours. ***Spare yourself the disappointment and added expense of fixing their mistakes and READ THIS REVIEW!*** After one week of the completion of the job, the sides of our driveway are cracked and there are spaces between the pavers. They replaced a walkway around the perimeter of the house and broke the stucco off of the house in multiple places. When they were advised of this damage, we were told that they would fix it for an additional $2,500. They left the yard a mess, with debris and trash left all over, everytime they came to complete work. They do not return your calls and have ignored our messages on multiple occasions throughout this unnecessarily arduous process. We have dealt with maintaining houses for over 50 years and this is the most dishonest, unscrupulous company we have ever had the misfortune of doing business with. Mark and Anthony run a horrible business; which is evidenced by the many other negative reviews posted all over the internet, as well as their score on the Better Business Bureau website, which unsurprisingly, is an F! Pave driveway and coat with water seal They widened the driveway on their own accord and my sprinkler head was surrounded by asphalt had to move it on my own "Owner said people have sprinklers in driveway all the time " they we're supposed to seal in three months 10 months later I called he said his son should have bin on it I didn't know how long before adding sealer so looked it up he blamed me for not calling sooner reminding him he blamed his son Asphalt was degrading pebbles in road why I called. Said probably needs two coats but only applied one "to save me money " also he asked if sealer was in initial estimate he answered his own question no When I paid him 6500. it was for "paving and sealer " don't ask if sealer was extra but he sure stuck it to me needed it written down instead of trusting word of mouth. read more

i hired s&s paving to install asphalt on my driveway on august 7th. the asphalt started falling apart a few days after the job was done which i had to repair myself with asphalt patch. i have called the son and the father they either tell me that they will call me back or they ignore my calls. i have grass growing through the asphalt because they installed 1/2 inch of asphalt instead of the 1 1/2 inch that i paid for. customers beware of this company. they are very dishonest and the guy is not even there to supervise the work. he shows up at the end to collect his money read more

As a property Manager I Contacted S & S paving & Concrete to do a repair & striping all over property. My property has about 4 full parking lots. The owner was very forward on what was needed to be done for the repairs and striping. He let me know how many days it would take. Everything was done well & accurate. Communication was always great. He definitely made it easy and comfortable through the whole process. The whole property took about 4-5 days , as well as they separated the work into areas to make it easy to maneuver with residents parking. I highly recommend S&S paving in concrete. read more

BUYER BEWARE...I immediately contacted Anthony by text with pictures on completion of the job and expressing my dissatisfaction. The job was very sloppily done and asphalt was tracked on to my entrance foyer pavers. He responded quickly "explaining" that if I gave it a week that driving on it and settling would smooth the driveway out and if I was still unhappy he would come out and fix it. Well, it didn't...
