I had a really bad experience with a lash lift appointment. Selina didn't know what she was doing, my lashes ended up barely curled at all. They would of looked better if I would just used an eyelash curler. When I arrived the first thing she did was asked me to redeem my Groupon and they started talking about giving her 10% tip and higher which put me off right away. I always tip even if I don't like the end result, I didn't need her to explain that to me. After she looked at my lashes she said they were too short and suggested I could get a refund from Groupon even though she redeemed the voucher. The whole process just took 20 minutes and the results were terrible. One side didn't lift at all, and the other side only had a slightly lift that didn't even last an hour. They have you fill out a waiver form if your a firs time customer. The best part about it is that they have this Yelp Special for first time customer so for lashes it's only $50! I had my lashes done, they didn't look right, they were supposed to be Mink natural looking. Mink is individual lashes attached to a single eyelash of your own. They are not mink and they are not attached to an individual lash. I went to a real salon to have them look at my eyelashes. They told me the eyelashes looked like the fake ones you buy at the store. This is just like the Acrylic nails explosion 20+ years ago. A full set of nails used to start at $50. A full set. Then a certain group of people figured CV out how to use cheap products and cheaper labor. Now full sets cost next to nothing. Same here, they are scoring on people who want something at cheap price. So yeah go here get cheap fake products and cheap look. You get what you pay for. So sad. read more

I had a 911 for lashes due to the fact that another lash technician from a different lash place messed up my eyelashes. long story short the other place gave me a completely different set from what i asked for and she only told me after i woke up.... i could barely open my eyes Selina was amazing. she helped me remove the other places work and redid my lashes to how i truly like them. not only that she took her time and made sure i was comfortable the whole way. and the solo rooms are so much better . Like other reviewers, at first I didn't notice any reason to be unhappy with my services.. that lasted only 2 appointments, and after that the problems began. Selena does not keep consistent prices. She gives everyone different prices, (I've referred family and friends and we get the same service with the same time in between). one week I would pay 70 and the next time for the same service it would be a dramatic 110 difference (mind you these are fills). We all noticed the pricing getting ridiculous without reason. When I would ask why, there was always a run around reason that didn't follow her chart of pricing. Selena does not fix your lashes if you are not happy, and will just avoid responding to you entirely instead of fixing what is wrong. I find that uncalled for after spending a 100 dollars and asking for a different lash and length than you were given. Do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere, that will do what you ask, and give you fair consistent prices, that provide the customer service you deserve for your hard earned money. read more

I came in for the mink full set eyelash extension. The communication is poor. I scheduled my appointment 4 days prior and when I got there they acted surprise. I have been getting my eyelashes done for over 2 years now and I have to say this place is THE WORST. The technique and lash quality is very poor. Eyelash extension is an art. It's the center of attention on anyone's face. If you cannot do the job right do not open for business. Many people stumbled upon this place because of the cheap Groupon. The Groupon deal is for the lowest quality lash, which the technician herself will talk you out of getting it and suggest an upgrade for extra $10. This place is a scam. Why would you advertises for a service that you believed is poor just to trick the customer in and then try to sell something else, because they had already make the effort to come and hence will go along with the upgrade. I do business too and know the value of getting customer to "come in and try the service". But what's even more valuable is getting the same customer to come back. You can trick them once but not twice. Do not come here. It's a waste of time and money. read more

This place has terrible service. I purchased a Groupon for the natural set of lashes and when I arrived, they told me it wasn't a full set so it wouldn't look nice and that I should upgrade. I'm not familiar with getting my lashes done, so I wasn't sure of the different types, styles, and lengths but they didn't help me with that much. I asked to see pictures of the natural lashes they've done and also the other styles of lashes to decide which ones I want, but the lady who helped me didn't really speak English well and pointed at pictures on the wall and said it's similar, but not the same which left me more confused. My friend had made an appointment an hour before mine and when I got there, she was still there so she helped me in picking the mink which is supposed to be softer and told me which length I should pick. Thanks to my friend who doesn't even work there, I was able to pick my style of lashes. The lady told me it would be an extra $25 for the mink and full set on top of my $40 Groupon (coming out to $65), the same price which my friend got charged for mink, the same length, and 3-D with no Groupon. I couldn't help but feel over charged because why purchase a Groupon if I would end up paying the same price anyway, and I didn't even get 3-D. And although my friend got there an hour before me, she got out about 15 min before I did and ended up complaining that her lady took over 2 hours to finish her set! The lashes came out okay, which is why I am leaving 2 stars. Today, I tried to made another appointment to get the lashes removed, and she asked me ''just removal?'' and I said yes, and never heard back. I wasn't going to leave this review but it was the last straw when I realized how greedy they are. Do not purchase the Groupon, they will try to up-sell you anyway. Not impressed at all. Found this place though living social and read all the reviews before making my purchase. I bought the " set of natural eyelash extensions". After showing the lady my voucher she tells me that the "set of natural eyelash extensions" I purchased isn't a full set, it only consists of 30-40 lashes per eye. WTF!! Are u serious?! I asked her why wasn't that disclosed in the fine print?? She tells me that if I want a full set of natural lashes, it's going to be $12 more and $$ if I wanted to upgrade to mink. Well...at this point I really have no choice but to "upgrade" to a full set unless I wanted to have sparse lashes. I've NEVER heard of paying for a set of lashes and not receiving a full set! They should have mentioned it in their ad so people can make the correct decision before purchasing. Not upon arrival to find out what they purchased isn't what they're getting. Honestly, I'm dissatisfied with my lashes and I've had better looking "natural" lashes than the ones provided from S Beauty. I'll just wear these for a week before I have them removed. At first I was disappointed because we were unable to do the light treatment due to certain materials that were temporarily unavailable (they are already working on resolving that issue. I made an appointment for a Saturday morning, I got there and they were very nice and explained the different types of lashes. I had a picture for reference of what look I wanted. The process of getting them on was the same as other salons, no burning nor discomfort. I am leaving a bad review because my lashes were not even and honestly fell off so quick while I avoided putting on makeup and would brush them to make them look nice but one side had them going up in the middle and the other side had one very low that was very noticeable. I paid 80+ $10 tip for a 3D Wispy look. Leaving two stars because they were nice Update: 5/10/18 The business was willing to have me come back in after they reached out to me to redo my lashes at no charge and when they contacted me they were still very nice and still nice as I'm here again.
