I called them because, some tasks are not do it yourself stuff. I have an acre full of trees and some are more than 50 feet tall minimum. Over the past two years he has removed over 16 very large trees from my property, including completely grinding the stumps, trimming large tree branches, cutting down dead tree trunks and even cleared some evasive thorn bushes that were destroying my lawn. After they finished, they removed all the waste from my property, filled in the holes with dirt and did a fantastic clean up job. Amazingly every time they finished, all in one day. Before I called H&G, I shopped around for quotes and found out that Mr. Humberto had best the prices and was fully insured. I highly recommend them. Final cost $26,000 (not including the engineering fees, town permits ect which totalled $32,000). Of course this happened unexpectedly. I hired Jimmy Super because he seemed like a good and reliable guy and his estimate came in the middle. In his estimate he stated "supply and install asphalt repair to driveway." He did not complete this portion of the contract. I had a driveway expert come in 9 MONTHS after the "asphalt" had not hardened. I have mounds of non-asphalt in my driveway. I did contact Jimmy back in October 2017 and he came by twice to fix the issue but did not resolve the issue. Driveway expert stated that non-asphalt was used and that is why is has not hardened. I emailed Jimmy Super asking him to pay to have the job done correctly but he has not responded and that is why I am writing this review. BEWARE of this contractor, he does not complete his jobs accordingly and was not very nice when I contacted him then his wife (secretary) back in October 2017. Please do not hire this person as he will not fulfill his contract duties. Here I am 9 months later with mounds of non-asphalt in my driveway. If Jimmy could not fulfill this part of the contract hiring someone else whom is an expert in this field would have been sufficient to fulfill his contract duties but he chose to do the job himself and failed miserably. I feel I should not be held liable to pay for this since I already paid for this to be completed. What I do not understand is this was a $26,000 job but yet this company will not pay $1,000/$2,000 to have my driveway fixed correctly.

The unit had been cleaned over the years and 6 years ago, after I got divorced, I had a chimney cleaner come out and he told me the unit should have been vented out the side because of the type of unit it was. He still got on the roof and checked things out, but charged me a $60 for coming out, even though he didn't do anything. I haven't used the unit since. Last year, I heard a bird in the pipe and it even got down into the stove and I had to rescue it. I've since heard other birds in there, so I reached out to A+ Chimney Sweep to have them clean the chimney and check the cap. I figured a second opinion wouldn't hurt and they can at least clean the chimney from the roof, even though I had no intention of going back to using the woodstove. Now, I admit I'm very naïve when it comes to chimney/fireplace stuff, but I totally feel taking advantage of as a single woman trying to have her home serviced. Chris came out and without going on the roof, told me that there is a cap on my chimney and there is nothing he can do about the birds, they can still get in. I told him what the previous guy told me about the stove inside and he agreed that it was poorly installed and he couldn't clean it, then he proceeded to tell me nothing could be done and he had to charge me the full $170 for coming out. When I showed my disbelief, he responded that he should actually charge me more for the 30 mile/hr roads to get here. As far as I know, they are only in Sparrowbush which is just over 1/2 hr from me. I asked if he could at least get on the roof and clean from there and he said no, he doesn't want the liability because the stove isn't properly installed. Totally disappointed and feeling ripped off.
