I understand that misunderstandings can happen in any business. Communication can sometimes be misinterpreted. That said, I truly cannot reconcile the suggestion that Jen could be rude. She is one of the kindest and most patient people I have ever worked with. I consider myself fair and reasonable, but I also have high standards. I am very particular when it comes to staging because it represents a significant investment for my sellers, and the presentation has to achieve a specific result. Not once in all these years has Jen or her team shown frustration or impatience with my requests. In fact, they usually get it right on their own. And on the rare occasion that I ask for adjustments, they are gracious, collaborative, and committed to making sure I am absolutely thrilled with the outcome. Staging is not just decorating. I contacted the Wood Doctor, spoke to Kim, she appreciated the problem I had, me in Los Angeles and the damaged pool table in the Vail area. Kim was a huge help and worked with me to repair the damaged pool table. Her professionalism put me at ease and I felt confident that they would do a nice job. The pool table was beautifully repaired, within the two week time frame that she promised, and the price was more than reasonable. I've added Kim and the Wood Doctor to my gratitude list!

I hired Victor to repair some furniture that was damaged after a interstate move. He gave us a "not…read moreto exceed" bid. Needless to say he did NOT stay within the agreed upon terms. He charges $90 per hour and agreed to fix a table in 5 hours or less. He then proceeded to charge us for 7 hours without notification Ahead of time. Then on 2 other pieces of furniture he sent a bill for $100 over what we agreed upon. When I asked what the excessive charges were for he said "set up fees". He never told us there was a set up fee. I believe practices like Victor's are very unethical. I would not recommend him due to his add on fees after the fact.
