    Drunken Noodle with chicken

It was my first time at the restaurant, and the area was unfamiliar to me as well. I found it by chance. The interior was a bit dark for my liking, and the decor wasn't particularly fancy, so honestly, I didn't have high expectations. Food- The food was fresh, delicious, and the portion size was just right. There are some restaurants where the noodles stick together, but this place didn't have that issue. Amazing!!! Service- The service at the restaurant was friendly, but the person clearing the table seemed to be in a bit of a hurry. I will definitely visit this restaurant more often in the future.

I'll keep this review short. The service was great and all of the workers were extremely friendly. The issue is the food. It's bland. Little to no flavor at all. Depending on what you order the pricing seems a little high when it comes to portion size. Nice ambience, dimly lit. But the food could definitely use some adjustments.

Omg! We found our go to Thai spot in Lancaster! Service was excellent! Food was excellent! Everything was good. Green Thai curry with chicken was amazing. It was perfectly spicy for us, with lots of chicken and vegetables. Had Thai with Chez who is also very good. Track in the house with awesome arrogance. Thai iced tea was delicious too. Will definitely be back!

Got the take out. In a pinch this place satisfied every square inch of my cravings. Holy moly, if you got a hankering for some Thai food to satiate your slurred desires, get some food from Sa La Thai. Fast delivery.

One of my friends was having a series craving for Thai food. She moved to this area about a year ago and haven't found "the" Thai place that will become a regular spot... until now. The food here is excellent and comparable to what we ate when we were in Thailand. Coconut and lemongrass soups were delicious as were the appetizers and main courses (which included crab Rangoon, steamed chicken dumplings, cabbage salad, drunken noodle, shrimp stirfry and green curry). There are a ton of gluten-free options on the menu and several that can be made gluten-free. The lunch special is an incredibly good deal. Service is great... super fast and very friendly. They are so excited to have a go-to Thai place now. My friend with the Thai cravings literally couldn't stop talking about this place last night.

Today I have been craving Thai food. I decided that I wanted a thick, sweet and salty Phanaeng chicken curry and Sa La Thai restaurant delivers a great tasting dish. The vegetables were perfectly cooked. The green beans and carrots had an external softness and the middle a nice crunch. Again, perfectly cooked. The rice was also cooked to perfection. I ordered the mild spicy option and was warned that it was a bit hot. My pallet does not favor spicy food, but I did order the Thai Iced to to bring the heat down. The tea has a very strong flavorful sweet tea leaf flavor. I would encourage you to order one as soon as you come in. As you enter you are warmly greeted by staff and the music that is not too loud and slows for conversation. The tables and floor are extremely clean, not like other places where your elbows stick to the tablecloth. If you are ever in the Lancaster area and Thai food is what you desire, stop on by Sa La Thai restaurant and let them take care of you. I don't usually give 5 stars but I had to for this find. A big thank you to the cook and staff at Sa La Thai restaurant.

From New York City and there's Thai joints all over the place, some are better than others. I hadn't eaten anything at all today (and when people say that they usually mean they ate very little during the day, but I only had water the entire day.) So maybe that's why I loved it so much? But I liked it a lot. I liked the big potions of tofu (I know right?) that were served with dinner. I got pad see eww and my date got chicken pad Thai, which we shared. I'm not a huge fan of the restaurant's name (Sa La Thai) but that's kinda silly; It'd be sad if someone said they wouldn't eat with me because my name is Brent so that's not fair, right? So let's put a pin in that. At one point during the night we laughed because the waiter's son (maybe connected with the owners?) had black nail polish on and I noticed it when he filled up my water. I made a comment about how goth he was and then asked for more soy sauce. Haha I'll definitely come back and next time I'll bring my daughter (14). I asked how long the place has been open and she told me 12 years, so that's telling -Places with crappy food/service don't usually last 12 years and counting, so... try this place out and give these people your money. By the way, we both ate and had leftovers and only spent $30 for dinner. Very reasonable. In New York that same dinner would be close to $100 bucks.

This Thai restaurant is a hidden gem! Wander down Queen St and you will find this fabulous restaurant. It's cozy and quaint with a friendly staff. The food is hot, delicious and served beautifully. There lunch special includes soup, appetizer and entree. The Golden bags are perfection, crispy(not oily) served with a plum sauce. The spring rolls are also crispy, served with a sweet chili sauce. The Thai eggplant and the drunken noodles were full of fresh, stir fried veggies. The chicken was cooked very well. Don't get me started on the coconut ice cream sticky rice! It is a homemade coconut ice cream served over my favorite warm sticky rice. It is the perfect blend of sweet, salty, buttery creaminess. I don't care how full I am, this is the absolute best ending to the meal. Highly recommend!

We ordered Indonesian Noodles - Very well prepared and flavorful. Only recommendation - they should add less onions and carrot and increase on Tofu and other vegetables. Chicken quantity was OK. Thai Garlic with tofu and vegetables - I asked them to make the dish at level 5 (challenged chef to make it very spicy ) and they dod accept the challenge. I am impressed. Lots of flavors and very delicious!

Ordered the Pad Thai for takeout. It was really great, plus it's a really big portion! The takeout process was quick and easy.

Nothing like being told you can sit to eat but it would most likely end up being takeout, a half hour before the restaurant closed.

2 lil ass chicken, which was pink and nothing but fat in it. Less than a cup of white rice and salad for like 13 dollar. I was tight.

Dishes are tasty but the service is slow. The super loud background music gets really irritating after a while.
