Nice decor and relatively large space in a strip mall near Lancaster. Service was incredibly nice and polite. No rushing or overbearing behaviors. The food here is not particularly Thai. menu offerings are a mixed bag of Southeast Asian cuisine. We ordered calamari which was a bit overdone. KaoGaiTod was essentially fried nuggets with dipping sauce. The Yakisoba was supposed to come prepared with udon but was more like a thin wheat noodle. It was tasty but more American than Thai

Had a great lunch here. Really tasty green curry with chicken. Got it 'extra spicy' (not Thai spicy) and it was definitely hot enough to bring a sniffle to my nose so it was perfect! Came as a combo so also had the crispy spring roll. That was also tasty. Decide to try their dumplings. They were really tasty! The restaurant is really nice inside. Service was great. I was so tempted by the sushi... especially after I saw food at some other tables! But the curry was excellent! I would definitely eat here again.

Ordered for pick up on Door Dash when I was 14 minutes away and it was ready when I got there. Everything was perfect! The Brussels Sprouts were amazing. I will definitely order from there again when I'm in the area.

Amazing food, and great service. So much flavor in our meals, and large enough servings that we left stuffed. We were absolutely amazed at how fresh everything tasted! Great decor and feel in this place. We arrived around 5:30 in the evening and had NO wait, the crowd started showing up a little later later (around 6:30ish, so arrive early and beat the rush. If we lived in the area this would be a regular spot!!

Delicious food, great presentation of dishes and amazing service. My husband and I thought we would try a new Asian fusion restaurant and we are super glad we did. The soups may have been a tad too salty but our waitress was very attentive and kind and overall we highly recommend! We ordered the starfish roll and the AMAZING green curry! (Just look at these generous portions, too)

Amazing food! The service is as good. They are always extremely attentive without being overbearing and the speed in which they bring the good out always surprises me. It's usually a pretty quiet space at least at the times that I've gone which have been between lunch and dinner.

Excellent service and some of the most authentic Thai food that I have had in years. The tom yum soup had a deliciously flavored broth. The green curry with the soft-shelled crab was so good, we ate every drop. We also had spring rolls--they slice them like sushi which took away the fn for the spongy exterior for us plus we prefer peanut sauce to fish sauce. And we had the whole pompano fish. It was well prepared but the fish itself is very fishy and not a lot of meat--not the fault of the chef but I wouldn't try again.

The doubles? Exceptional. Soft, perfectly filled, and full of flavor. And the hot pepper sauce? Whew. It didn't just add heat, it elevated an already outstanding dish to another level. I ordered so many doubles I barely had room for anything else but I had to try the dhal and it was exactly what I needed. Comforting, rich, and done right. Everything tasted like true, authentic Trini food, the kind that makes you feel warm, satisfied, and already thinking about your next visit. I was literally craving it every single day for the rest of my Lancaster trip. The space itself is on the smaller side, but really cute and inviting. The service was great: friendly, welcoming, and made the whole experience complete. Whether you're new to Trini food or already know what's up, Calaloo will not disappoint. Everything about this place exceeded our expectations. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated, clean, and thoughtfully designed. It feels upscale without being stuffy, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting from the moment you walk in. We started with the crab rangoons and then ordered five sushi rolls: the Creamy & Crispy Roll, Crunchy Crab Roll, Black Dragon Roll, Hawaii Roll, and the Volcano Roll with spicy tuna. Every single roll was fantastic. Not "some were better than others" fantastic. Not "we found a favorite and tolerated the rest" fantastic. We genuinely loved every roll that came to the table. The Volcano Roll with spicy tuna was my personal favorite and an easy 10/10, but honestly there wasn't a single thing we ordered that we wouldn't get again. The presentation deserves its own mention. The rolls were beautifully plated, complete with gorgeous edible flowers and thoughtful garnishes that made everything look almost too pretty to eat. Service was excellent. The food came out surprisingly quickly, but not all at once. Instead, the rolls arrived in small groups, which actually made the experience even better because we could enjoy each one before the next arrived. For two people, five specialty rolls and crab rangoons came to about $80, which is completely reasonable and honestly pretty standard for quality sushi. We will absolutely be back, and we've already started recommending Hills to Sea to friends and family. If you're a sushi lover in Lancaster County, put this place on your list immediately.

Noodle Shack is located in a shopping center so there is ample parking available. During my first visit, I had the pleasure to try takoyaki for the first time. These soft, pillowy octopus fritters garnished with sauce and bonito flakes that danced as they reacted to the heat we're as exciting to try as they were delicious. Upon entry today I was quickly seated and was one of two occupied tables in the dining room. The waiter came over and took my order of Zhanjiangmian. My previewed the menu online beforehand so I already knew what I was going to order. The interior of the restaurant is spacious, clean and cozy. Not long after I place my order I got my food. Zhanjiang is a fermented soybean paste and to make the dish pork and mushrooms are added to make the sauce. To my delight, I was welcomed with a warm and savory noodle dish packed with umami that just seemed perfect for this cold weather. The dish itself does not come spicy so I requested a side of chili oil which I used had some heat and this just amplified how tasty this dish was. I was pleased with my order and would definitely eat this dish again. My only complaint about today's experience, which is a pet peeve of mine, is when the server places the check on the table before I am finished eating. Fortunately, most establishments don't follow this protocol. And although it is my only complaint I do not feel this would prevent me from going back try more of their menu.

It's a bit of a conundrum to find the entrance; it's on the back side, up a flight of stairs. The dining room brims with families, couples, groups of friends, seniors--all walks of life. One table away from me, sat a father and young son heartily munching on their dinners. I decided to ask them about the menu. The father told me that they come here once a month because his son is a picky eater, but loves GuGu's cooking, so consumes everything on his plate; and the dad thinks the place is the bomb. Started with the gyoza appetizer and enjoyed it very much. My seaweed salad was fresh and generous although the dressing was not to my liking, however able to change it up with some soy sauce and wasabi. A red curry duck main that I went with was luscious, meaty and satisfying. All dishes were nicely presented. Service is professional. I appreciate the linen-like, deposable napkins that are a part of the place setting--nicely absorbent. I agree with others that it takes time for food to arrive, but worth the wait.

I really enjoyed the twist on the typical walnut shrimp dish. I liked the fried shrimp in the bang bang dish best. My only gripe about that dish was that there was not enough sauce. The shrimp in the Thai basil dish was small and I would not get that again. The miso soup was on the salty side for us but it is a generous portion. The shrimp tempura roll was good and comes with 5 larger pieces. Overall, I enjoyed the food here and think that they do a really nice job with take-out.
