And it is great: food is fresh, spicy, and delicious. My vegetarian kid has always been happy with the offerings here, and my extra picky autistic kid loves the noodles. I've enjoyed basil chicken (ka prao) which is shockingly hard to find if you want it to taste good! The food here is not particularly Thai. menu offerings are a mixed bag of Southeast Asian cuisine. We ordered calamari which was a bit overdone. Had a great lunch here. Really tasty green curry with chicken. Got it 'extra spicy' (not Thai spicy) and it was definitely hot enough to bring a sniffle to my nose so it was perfect! Came as a combo so also had the crispy spring roll. That was also tasty. Decide to try their dumplings. They were really tasty! The restaurant is really nice inside. Service was great. As the kids were jamming our heads as usually, I forgot to ask for it to be spicey. The menu has dif levels of hott you can choose from. I absolutely love this place! This review is long overdue. I stopped in for lunch for a spicy salmon roll and crunchy rolls. I always get this for lunch. The salmon roll tasted very good, fresh and delicate. The crunchy rolls are very crunchy with a light crunchy outside filled with cabbage, served with their special dipping sauce. Excellent service and some of the most authentic Thai food that I have had in years. The tom yum soup had a deliciously flavored broth. The green curry with the soft-shelled crab was so good, we ate every drop. We also had spring rolls--they slice them like sushi which took away the fn for the spongy exterior for us plus we prefer peanut sauce to fish sauce. And we had the whole pompano fish. Everything about this establishment is lovely: the atmosphere, the service, and most importantly the food. I've had various appetizers and soups; all were delicious. Their drunken noodles are a stand out, and this is what I order most times. Their is one particular younger Thai (I'm assuming) waitress, who is just the friendliest, kindest, sweetest thing you will ever encounter. Got the Matcha tea and it was like drinking syrup and Milk of Magnesia. It was so bad that I had to add water to drink it, then felt sick. Husband couldn't even drink his. They raised prices to $15 or more on every plate. Waitress seated us in the middle instead of the beautiful window seats. We got up and left after the horrible tea which was a $10 mistake. Gave the lady at the register a $20 bill and she had the nerve to ask if I wanted change back. Really? However, if you are ok with high prices, the food is excellent. Gave this place a try on a whim after a day of shopping at the outlets. Went in around 5pm on a Saturday and there was no wait. The decor inside was lovely. The food though...even more lovely ! Ramarn Thai opened three days ago in a spot formerly occupied by another Asian-Fusion restaurant, U Thai. The menu features a variety of mainly Thai or Thai inspired dishes as well as an array of sushi. The menu features dishes that were also served at the former U Thai but you will also find new dishes sprinkled throughout the menu. One interesting entry is the Burmese Style Fried Rice, which I aspire to try one day. Located in a shopping mall, there is ample parking available. Currently, Ramarn Thai is offering takeout as well as dining in options. I chose to dine in today was the only patron seated in the restaurant. During the course of my meal there were several diners who opted for takeout. The decor is largely the same as the predecessor. Today I ordered the Chicken Kra Pow (hot) lunch. When ordering off the lunch menu you get your choice of soup or roll. The soup options included miso, coconut or hot and sour. The rolls were either a fried spring roll or fresh roll. I chose the coconut soup. It was warm, slightly sweet, had various vegetables in it and was a nice way to start the meal. The Chicken Kra Pow enticed the senses with it's aroma, taste and visual appeal. The heat level was perfect and everything tasted great. I was even given a side of Prik Nam Pla at my request to add extra depth to the dish. Overall, I am glad that Ramarn Thai exists and I plan on returning soon to try something else on the menu. read more

I had the Massaman curry with chicken and crispy rolls. The curry was way too sickening sweet. I've had this dish at other Thai restaurants and the others were nowhere near as sweet. My stomach is upset from the too sweet dish hours after I ate it. I would eat here again to try something else but I'll stay far away from the curry. read more

This restaurant, which is in the same location as the former U Thai near Calvary Church, is an under-appreciated treasure. I have had several very tasty meals here, highlights include Panang Curry and most recently Mixed Vegetable Stir Fry with a light brown sauce. I always ask for extra onions in the stir fry and they are very accommodating! The staff is quite friendly and the facility is sparkling and very open. I came here a few weeks ago with a friend who is local, as he highly recommended this place. The food was fantastic, staff are very kind, there is a minus star because as my local host pointed out after the fact, unless you tell them not to bring your appetizer & main course together, you will receive them at or around the same time. Not too terrible if you're appetizer is a cold appetizer and your entree is hot, but if they are both hot dishes then you have to figure out which one you're going to have cold. Sending something back is not an optimal thing either, as it will generally tend to sit under a heat lamp instead of being remade. Just something for management to think about. Things are listed as appetizers for exactly that reason, it's supposed to come before the main course. I will certainly be back as the food was excellent read more
