I have thought long and hard about posting this review, but I think I should warn people about my…read moreexperience. I chose this company because it was one of the less expensive ones and I liked the fact that an early setup of the tent was $150. It was a clearly separate charge from the rental cost of the tent, tables and chairs. When we decided we needed to rent a second tent, I assumed the flat fee of $150 would apply. Wrong. The contact person I had been dealing with told me it was not $150 but half the total cost of the entire contract, which was rental for the tent, table and chairs and tent sides . The extra day rental ballooned from a flat $150 to over twice that amount. The contact person explained she had made a mistake and should have included all of these items in the original contract. I went back to the original contract and saw, clearly stated, that the extra day was a flat fee and not half the total contract amount. I felt terrible because I felt I was being ripped off and had to go through the contract since no other vendors had tents available for my dates. I brought the original contract to the attention of the contact person, and she said she would 'give (me) the tables and chairs, but not the extra tent. Anyway, long story short, I had tent, tables and chairs delivered a day early, paid $150 for that, had the second tent delivered on the normal setup day and just paid for a second delivery charge. Conclusion : if you deal with this company, be sure to keep all your records and emails, so there is no switching of terms mid-stream. The tents, tables and chairs were fine (except for one broken table they replaced) and the set up crews nice and efficient.

She was super communicative from day 1, was genuinely interested in learning about us as individuals, and making sure that we (a gay nonbinary interfaith couple... a little bit of everything, you could say!) felt included and seen in our ceremony. She is incredibly multi-talented, and I have the absolute highest of recommendations for her in all categories - I can't think of any way in which it could've been a better experience.

She was proactive, enthusiastic, and immediately impressed upon me a friendly, "I got your back" nature. And she did! I am not local to Burlington and as such she volunteered to scout-out spots in advance and send me recommendations. I was juggling quite a lot in terms of logistics for the plan to come together, and throughout the process Moriah was reliable, helpful, enthusiastic, and flexible. When the day arrived the plan went off flawlessly and Moriah captured it beautifully. She was a pleasure to meet in person and she leveraged her artistic talent, people skills, and area knowledge to capture a set of photos that legitimately took our breath away. She somehow managed to turn a crummy-weather day and two non-photogenic subjects into a memory and a set of images that delight us with every reflection and every look.

Even with all of this working against her, Moriah blew us out of the water. She is so gentle and energetic, that the whole process was absolutely painless. She kept up a steady stream of encouragement and direction, she made us laugh, and got into some truly uncomfortable positions. And it worked! We got some truly wonderful photos from the experience. As excellent as the photos came out, it is really Moriah's demeanor and attitude that makes me want to recommend her services.
