Seeing this pop up excited me to my core. Mr Man mentioned wanting to come to scream park last month so imagine my surprise when I found out I didn't have to wait until the fall to have him experience this event. I surprised him with a post Valentines date night with his valentine theme haunt and overall I wasn't mad. General admission tickets- I opted for general admission tickets and I'm definitely glad I didn't opt for the more expensive package to skip the line as it wasn't necessary. General admission line was one person in front of us and we waited less than 10 minutes to get into the actual event. -The haunted house itself it was cool but overall I'm just a scary person. They definitely didn't not have enough people throughout the haunted house so that was a bummer. It seemed like maybe less than 15-20 people throughout the entire haunted house. There was a pretty large stretch where nobody popped out and I was just scared on my own merits. I think if they had more people throughout the house would have been better or the house needed to be shortened. -photos I purchased the photo from before entering the haunted house and the lady at the concession counter overcharged my card so that was a bummer to find out after I left. My girl surprised me with a Valentine's weekend event by bringing us here, and I was surprised and happy. This was my first haunted house ever. Something I've always wanted to experience so I was excited We waited in line for about 15 minutes. While waiting, they let us take a photo in front of one of the scary displays, which was a cool touch. Before entering, security made the rules very clear: no phones, no photos, no videos! The walkthrough took about 20 minutes. There was a few times were I couldn't tell is something was real or fake. Every time my girl screamed, I screamed right after her, it was automatic at that point. Toward the end, it felt like there weren't as many people popping out compared to the beginning, so it slowed down a little. But even with that, I still had a great time. Overall, it's a fun experience if you like haunted houses or horror-themed activities. My girl didn't love it as much as I did, but I truly appreciated her planning this for us. If it's Halloween related I'm into it. I've come here for a few years in a row now and each time its been getting better. This isn't Universal Studios, of course, but compared to the other haunts around the greater Sacramento area this is the one worth going to. Some of these animatronics are next level. The haunters inside milling about vary quite a bit in their scare abilities, but the ones that are skilled know how to get you. Very happy to see they lowered the lights - it adds so much to the effect - and included many pass-thrus where the haunters can pop out at random in front of you after you just passed them. Make sure to sign up for the presale (hello $12 ticket). Highly recommend the Fast Pass if you are going to bother attempting this in the second half of October or on a Saturday night. This was such a fun spooky night out! They have four fully themed haunted houses with really impressive props and detail. It's a straight shot walkthrough, so once you start, you go house-to-house without breaking the flow. It took us about 30-45 minutes total, and we only waited around 10 minutes thanks to the Immediate Entry pass (definitely worth the extra $15-$30 if you want to avoid the long lines). There were some really good pop-up scares and high-anxiety moments that got our whole group yelling and laughing. Not for the faint of heart, but super fun if you enjoy a good adrenaline rush. The staff kept things lively and engaging throughout. Located in a shopping plaza, parking was super easy, and there was a small snack vendor outside for post-scare treats. My husband surprised me with a Valentine's Day date here and it was our first visit. We had the fast-pass, which saved us a good chunk of time in line -- recommend if you're going on a busy night. The experience took about 30 minutes to get through, which totally caught us off guard in the best way. The production quality was seriously impressive -- top-tier animatronics, detailed set design, and immersive props from start to finish. The actors fully committed to their roles and delivered some genuinely good scares that kept us on edge the entire time. We have been attending every year. I've tried the purchase with the fast pass and it's worth it, those lines can be super long! But they do a good job keeping everyone entertained whether it's the decorations, videos playing on the building, spooky music or you can see the occasional character coming around interacting with the guests. They are all super nice people. The detail to the scene sets are awesome! It's nice when there is a little light to see everything. Even with the 5 minute immediate entry this experience is not worth the price. The design of the houses were all creative but, there were too many animatronics and not enough competent actors. I saw two actors on their phone in their hiding places when they were supposed to be scaring people. The flow of the line was terrible. They just shuffled everyone in and didn't put space between any groups so you couldn't get a good experience. The food trucks made it not a complete waste of time. This was horrible. I spent $300 including the fast pass to bypass the 3 hour lane. I took my 3 teen sons. The fast lane was a 20 minute wait. I heard so many good things about this horror house. It was a huge let down. The place was too dark we had to use our phones, it was more of a museum, hardly no one scaring anyone, you were looking more at the horror themed layouts and dummies. It was very overpriced. Save your money and go to a theme park. Parking lot is a nightmare. Food vendors there maybe 3 to choose from, cheaper to eat somewhere else. I wasn't too sure about paying $35.00 for a make-shift haunted house...But this was GREAT! Great characters that roamed around while you stood in line waiting to enter the house.. Had a great time. Got there at 7pm opening and had fast pass. Lots of actors. Great amount of animatronics. Slight changes. Seems it's the same layout as valentines haunt with a slight change of decor in 2 areas. Definitely worth the experience. And I'd go again. I don't think I would want to do it without fast pass or opening time. And I don't recommend it. Staff do not manage lines at all once you get in. There is a wait for people to take photos. Some tried to cut the line. This is a huge oversight for those of us not taking photos. Also. There is no spacing between when people are allowed into each haunt. The very entrance is maybe 30 second wait but that's about it. So fast walkers and slow walkers will eventually bundle up and you get a blob of people which ruins the experience of the scare. So 4 star overall. But if I didn't get there at opening time or via fast pass. It's more of a 2 star. Amazing props. Actors. And decor. One of the parking lot attendants were rude and vulgar. Yelling across the parking lot to us. Telling us to go out the way we came in. As I turned to do so he yells when I ask what he said he states I said I spoke fucking good English. As a hearing impaired retired vet I take offense to his comment and to make it worse this was done in front of my children. I reported to the staff but left so I did not escalate things. BUY IMMEDIATE ADMISSION TICKET. Well, I went on Friday the 13th and I purchased my immediate admission ticket in advanced... Facebook hyped up this haunted house and made it seem like it was going to be scary... not at all. When we arrived late night... it was so packed we had to go across the street for parking. Came early on a Friday night (right at 6 p.m.) and had only about a 15-minute wait. The line air seemed massive (think Disneyland), and it's all in the parking lot without any seating, no cover, and no toilets (just a dew portapottie. Would not want to be stuck waiting for that. The haunted house itself was OK. There were lots of animatronics, and the sets were great. However, not nearly enough actors and many rooms had none. Additionally, it's set up as one long continuous house that sorta switches themes every quarter of the way through. It was confusing, and that took away from me. Additionally, the way it's set up, you are almost guaranteed to either catch up to slow people in front of you or get caught up with. This really kills the experience because it becomes one giant mob, and you lose all the jump scares. Going at the opening helped a lot initially as they clearly tried to space, but by the final 1/3 of the house, we were all bunched up. I think the issue is the one giant non-stop house. This setup they can't respace or reset things. The ending was really underwhelming, and we were in and out in about 15 minutes (not counting the initial wait). The whole group was like, is that all? Because there really is no finality to the end. You just walk out the front door, and it's over, and you're outside. It's weird because you really never spend any time inside the building, just the haunted house. You can't stop, you can't look, you can't use the restroom, you can't talk to staff, etc etc. You scan your ticket outside, enter, and go until you exit. There is no way out and no other things to do. Thank goodness it's pretty cheap. Otherwise, I'd have been annoyed. Expected this to be an evening event, but we were totally done start to finish, including waiting in 30 minutes. Next time, I think I'd pick a different place that's more immersive /interactive / multifaceted. This is really nothing more than a long scary hallway effectively. read more

We arrived at 7 pm and there were already long lines. It was pretty disorganized and there were several people wondering where to go. I didn't expect to stand in line for 1.5 hour. The lines moved soooo slowly. We got regular tickets and the line wrapped back around to the side entrance of the building. All 3 haunted houses are connected and you just keep walking through them. I'd say their set is better than before but isn't anywhere near as scary as the old ones used to be. We finished all 3 haunted houses in about 15 minutes. I haven't been to a haunted house in years. So when my daughter suggested going, I was so excited. We ended up making this a soccer bonding trip. So we had about 28 people in our group. When you buy 20 tickets you can get a discounted price. We got there at 5:30. The line moved pretty fast. While we were waiting for people we moved to the side to let others go by. When we did have our whole group it took a little over an hour to get in. It says not recommend for children under 12 but honestly it wasn't that scary. My 10 year old would've been able to go in. I wish I would've brought her. It seemed like they needed more actors. There was lots of walking without even seeing anyone inside of the haunted house. The team had a great time. We had an absolute blast. I'm pretty surprised with how low these reviews are because it was a good time. We went on Sat the 22nd at around 530pm. Pros - Details and Props were well done. - line was incredibly short (we had the fast pass). I do believe this had to do with us going early because we went in around 5:30. Then as the sun went down, more people came and I would imagine the lines got longer at night. - had a few good jump scares - food trucks - actors were fun and did well to stay in character - my (mature for their age) 10 and 12 year old had a great time and still can't stop talking about how much fun they had. Cons - location in a sketchy area - parking sucks. After seeing the advertisement and videos we were hyped to go. We were willing to make the hour and 15minute drive up there. We even paid for the diamond pass ( 4 passes for $311) for IMMEDIATE entry since we were coming from a long drive we didnt want to wait an hour to get in. We figured it would be worth it. Got scan down for weapons, anything metal etc. they gave us our passes and had us go inside thru some hallways. We had our pictures taken and had to wait in line for the Entrance to the scare house. Yeah we still had to wait no immediate entry here. Staff guy said EVERYONE still has to wait ur turn to get inside. Should have just paid for the regular pass SMH. When we got inside, we had to follow a long train of ppl along the maze. I kid u not, there were hella ppl in front of us and a long as trail of ppl behind us. The ppl behind me was so close their hand kept bumping into my ass. Idk why they didnt space us out. i heard screaming in front of me and some behind me. No clue what the freak was going on. Just following the person in front of me. Sadly i have to say wasnt the best experience. But A++ on the scary props thou. Some people may not have found it scary because they're expecting the childhood fears of thinking that zombies are real life, they are not. If you get into the spirit of Halloween and haunted houses you'll love it. Endless amounts of real people, so many rooms and turns and nooks. If i could rate this zero stars i would. Me and my family came yesterday on a Saturday night and arrived just about 7pm. It was already pretty busy but we were only about 25 people behind the entrance (until we realized theres a longer entrance to get into the actual house). It tooks us TWO hours just to get in. The line moved extremely slow. We thought "maybe its because they are spacing out groups" but once we got in we were literally in a line WALKING through the house. There were barely any actors so im guessing they were short handed but it was the worst haunted house ive ever been in. The props were awesome and you can tell they put a lot of work into it, but the experience itself was awful. My mom is very jumpy and gets scared easily, and she was more scared in line anticipating what was going to happen then she was inside the actual attraction. The fact that the line took that long and we were just walking through and barely being scared at all just was a horrible experience and waste of money. When we finally came out of the attraction the line was INSANE. Given we were basically pretty close to the front when we first arrived, the line now wrapped all the way to the end of their barricades, back up towards the entrance and down the sidewalk to the st. We warned people that it was not worth the wait as they were going to be wait 4+ hours for how long the line was. People should be refunded their money because the attraction wasnt like what was advertised. The line was way too long and it moved too slow just to have that kind of experience.
