I had a truly wonderful experience at ARTery tattoo and with Jeremia, my tattoo artist. This was my first tattoo and it was something I had been dreaming about for quite a long while. But it was also something I was nervous about. Jeremia was so patient, really listened to me, and designed an amazing octopus that covered a large portion of my right calf. The tattoo itself was complicated and took hours to finish. Jeremiah made sure I was comfortable the whole time and checked in on me throughout. The whole experience was incredible. Everyone else at in the shop was also welcoming and the team at ARTery have succeeded in creating a unique and inclusive space. As for the tattoo itself. It's fabulous! Amazing! Unique and as weird and beautiful as I had hoped it would be. Everyone I have shown it to loves it and remarks on Jeremia's artistic talent. Most importantly, I LOVE it! When I mentioned to a well tatted barista the other day that I had gotten my first tattoo, and told him about ARTery and Jeremiah, he said he knew her work and that, "Jeremia is the best tattoo artist in the valley." Figured I'd provide an update, still LOVE this tattoo shop. I've been at least another 4 times since my original visit. Krista is an amazing artist and has done several custom pieces for me, my husband, mother in law, and friends. The vibes at this shop are amazing and it's always a wonderful experience! read more

Krista was incredible from start to finish--creative, easygoing, and completely professional. I booked months in advance from Florida, and she stayed in communication the whole time, even consulting with me over the phone to refine the design. I emailed her several reference images, and she thoughtfully collaborated with me to create a fine line Sedona landscape with subtle shading that perfectly captured the vision. She suggested placement options and helped me choose the one that flowed best--and it turned out beautifully. Her technique is amazing--it was honestly the least painful tattoo I've ever had. The studio itself is peaceful, clean, and artfully designed, with a calming vibe that made the entire experience feel relaxed and grounding. Krista also provided clear, detailed aftercare instructions. I'm beyond happy with the result and will absolutely be back for my next piece. Highly recommend! read more

I had some doubts about my first tattoo. After all, I am 73 and went for my first EVER tattoo. The whole experience was great. The shop was really nice. The vibe was upbeat and fun, but also fostered a kind of reflective tone...who are you?, what does this experience mean to you?, what's the deeper message of your experience? Jeremia is such a wonderful artist! She has done a beautiful daisy vine tattoo up my arm and a gorgeous Lotus on my other arm! I have older, sensitive skin so I am not an easy client. She is very careful and cautious while working on me! I have been able to have these wonderful works of art done after thinking my Tattoo days were over. Health issues had me feeling like It wasn't possible, but Jeremia made my dreams come true! I am so appreciative of her talent and professionalism! Spending time with her is a delightful bonus!
