I had debilitating ankle, shoulder, arm and back pain. My doctors, after 9 months, had been completely unsuccessful in addressing the issues (torn left ankle ligament & herniated C6/C7 in my neck) other than my PT who resurrected my back to 65% of normal. In truly horrible pain, I looked for a masseuse near my home that might help. I was very concerned I'd get somebody who made it worse. Truly lucky day finding Sophia at Sacred Splendor. 1st visit - worked on my ankle and I went from 5 min of slow walking outside/day to 45 min 2x/day within 2 weeks of my visit. 2nd visit a month later - sensed part of my back issue was my left hip had been impacted by my left ankle and needed to be realigned. 35% of back pain that PT/doctors couldn't solve - fixed. Literally. 3rd visit - continued to advance left ankle work and I can walk barefoot again. She also went to work on shoulders unlocking both in such a way that I can feel it healing. Couldn't be more impressed. I don't bother with reviews - there are more than enough out there, but for this - I'll bother. A few years ago, I had 2 back surgeries (one an L4/L5 spinal fusion). She's very attentive and has concern for her clients. I called to make the appointment but got her voice mail. Within 5 minutes we received a detailed text asking what type of massage we were looking for with her rates. Via text, we were able to set an appointment it the next day. Her final text gave very detailed directions to her place along with parking options/directions.
