I have been with Dr. Sadaty for almost 30 years and that says a lot of a doctor/patient relationship. She is the most smart, caring, knowledgeable, humorous, observant and passionate doctor I have ever met. She takes the time to ask you about any issues you are experiencing and will treat you with every option and advice she has and will stick with you until the finish line. Her OBGYN experience is remarkable. I was lucky enough to have her deliver my daughter 20 years ago. I still see her for my GYN needs as well as her new journey as a functional medicine practitioner who has helped me figure out issues with pain, inflammation in body and gastro issues and has put me on track to better health. I wish there were more doctors like Dr. Sadaty. Any negative reviews seem shocking to me. It's as if they are talking about another doctor. read more

I have to say I have been to a lot of Gynecologists. I finally found Dr Sadaty and I have to say she is one of the best and is very nice. She listens to you and does have compassion and takes her time with you. Office staff is very friendly as well. I have been going to her for 2 years now and never had any issues. read more

THE TRUTH REVEALED about Dr. Anita Sadaty Patients BEWARE. Dr. Anita Sadaty cannot be trusted and does not care about her patients. In order to see Dr. Sadaty, you must pay a $200 deposit that is non-refundable. The office staff who is far from friendly and lacks interpersonal skills, will keep calling you until they have your deposit. They say that the deposit is "refundable" within 48 hours of making the appointment, however they will still charge your credit card.   During the initial consultation with Dr. Sadaty, she appears to be nice at first, however she becomes very distracted and has her own agenda. Once the hour is up, she rudely cuts you short and says "I have other patients waiting for me". Also, the information that she gave me was detrimental to my health and my PCP was shocked! The price of her consult is $650 with a $200 non-refundable deposit. You would think that since we are in a pandemic where people are suffering, out of work, struggling to survive and losing loved ones, Dr. Sadaty would show some compassion and understanding, which apparently she lacks these most desirable skills. I truly feel that the patients who do not understand alternative medicine and/or are new to holistic treatments, are the ones that are being the most taken advantage of. After the consult is over, the staff immediately calls you to set up another appointment and is very adamant about this.  They are very aggressive in making sure that another appointment is made in order to get another deposit and charge your credit card.  It seems like they have a sales quota $ to make.  They charged my credit card for an appointment that was cancelled. There were many red flags prior to making the appointment. Her office staff is far from warm and friendly and lacks communication skills. This says a lot about the doctor as well. Dr. Sadaty will NOT speak with you unless she has your money and every, single form is signed. One of biggest shockers is, in order to get any answers from your initial consult with Dr. Sadaty, your have to pay another $650 to see OR speak with her again. This will only lead to a vicious cycle that you cannot get out of. To me, this seems like a "get rich" SCAM, almost similar to a MLM. Fellow patients, I am here to inform you that there are others resources and to please be your own advocate and do your research prior to seeing any doctor. Yes, Dr. Sadaty has a nice website, however that is all EGO driven. Behind that façade there is a woman who is desperate for money and thrives on taking advantage of others. I went to see Dr. Sadaty for a pre-conception consult. I'm struggling with infertility and failed 3 IUI's and 3 IVF's. My last IVF ended in a miscarriage and I went to see her for a holistic perspective. In my second visit, Dr. Sadaty was rude, insensitive, dismissive and condescending. She went from Doctor to Sales person as she tried to sell me some cash "Functional" program that included diagnostic tests she claimed were not covered by insurance. I of coursed explained to her I had already spent a lot of money on IVF and could not take on more medical costs. I asked her to run the tests through my insurance since diagnostic test are typically covered. She very rudely and aggressively said to me "you choose to spend money on IVF but don't choose to spend money on this" REALLY??!! NO ONE CHOOSES TO SPEND MONEY ON IVF!!! INFERTILITY IS A DISABILITY JUST LIKE ANY OTHER. IT'S NOT NOR WILL IT EVER BE A "CHOICE!" I explained this to her and informed her I had drove 15 miles to her and once again asked for her help outside of the out of pocket/cash "Functional" program. She rudely and condescendingly stated with no compassion in her voice: "I cannot help you or treat you unless you pay for the "Functional" program and with your blood results unaddressed through this program you will NEVER get pregnant!" I'm shocked at not only what she said but at her apathy. WHAT KIND OF DOCTOR SAYS THAT TO A VICTIM OF INFERTILITY WHO IS REASONABLY DISTRAUGHT FROM A RECENT MISCARRIAGE AND REASONABLY FINANCIALLY STRAINED FROM IVF EXPENSES??!! I HAD NEVER EXPERIENCED SUCH A BLATANT LACK OF BEDSIDE MANNER UNTIL NOW!! I was so hurt by her apathy and cruel tone I stormed out of her office. Dr sadaty has treated my daughter for almost a year. She is detached distant at times rude,on our last visit my daughter had received several changes of appts,the last being while she was on the train coming to long island from the city,changing it to an hour before. My daughter was told by dr sadaty that she,the doctor could not stay because her son had a birthday party. At that meeting the dr. Was supposed to give an injection. Dr. S had neither ordered the injection,nor knew the dosage,as she explained she had not prescribed that is 5 years. Dr. Sadaty has been my GYN for 12 years... she diagnosed me with friboids in 2008 and successfully performed a myomectomy to remove them. I was living overseas for a while and scheduled my annual check up appointment when I visited. I wouldn't go anywhere else. She is a compassionate, caring professional and way ahead of the curve in addressing your individual needs and well being. Dr. Sadaty is truly the best. I'm shocked by the negative reviews. She is kind, thorough, and so incredibly knowledgeable. What continues to amaze me about her is not just her regular western doctor smarts, but her holistic knowledge. The fact that she hasn't just thrown drugs at me like every other doctor has been life changing to say the least. I've never had a doctor ask me about my nutrition, stress levels, exercise, meditation (ha! none before her, daily now!), and so much more. She is really a special doctor, and I can't recommend her more. Dr. Sadaty is a horrible doctor...maybe not a horrible person...but a horrible doctor. My sister is pregnant with her first child and I accompanied her on her appointment being a mother of two and knowing what to expect from these appointments. Dr. Sadaty was cold, dismissive, rude and just lacked knowledge all around. My sister had a test done the week prior which is time sensitive (you only have a small bracket of time in which to do it) and when she asked about these results, Dr. Sadaty did not have them on hand yet stated "I'm sure they are fine". When we further questioned the blood test, we were pushed into the nurse's station who could "answer any further questions" (clearly Dr. Sadaty could not be bothered; apparently this woman has delivered Jennifer Lopez's babies so she can only deal with the upper echelon of beings now). Low and behold, my sister's blood tests were nowhere to be found - the office/blood lab had lost the results. I was fuming at this - not because of the blood being lost (blood can always be redrawn and mistakes do happen) but because this office tried to cover this mistake up. They should have reached out to the patient and immediately scheduled to have her come in to redraw blood for this time sensitive test. A complete disgrace for an office and for a doctor. Thank God this is New York and there are plenty of OB GYN options. I would never recommend this doctor to anyone and based on the above would never feel safe putting a patient (and yet-to-be-born patient) in the hands of this "doctor". read more

My experience with her, having gone in on an urgent appt. because of lower abdominal pain and bloating was HORRIBLE! She stepped in never spoke to me when I asked her a question she just looked at me with disdain. Never took any urine sample. Was in for 2 minutes to "examine". VERY SCARY!!! Dr. Sadaty gave me hope. I found Dr. Sadaty as a final effort to find a better solution for my early onset menopausal issues that I was having. After my other gynecologist told me there was nothing else that could be done and I would just have to live the rest of my life the way I was, I am only 46, was devastated. After seeing Dr. Sadaty and her patiently listening to my story she was very compassionate and understanding and while she couldn't promise me she could fix me she did tell me she would do her best to help me. She is kind and caring and I felt hope not despair when I left her office. Her office staff is excellent from the front desk to the nurses. Highly recommend!!! read more

I visited Dr Sadaty for routine check up all went well very gentle and personable. She is polite and answered all my questions A month later I had some post menopause vaginal bleeding and called and got an appointment for the next day. The procedure to diagnose the cause is a biopsy of the uterine lining and I had this done 7 years ago by another doctor and dreaded it due to the pain during and after the procedure When Dr Sadaty did the procedure I asked of she would be doing it soon and she replied "it is already done". I felt nothing during and only very slight aching after. She has the most gentle soft touch! A few days later I returned to the office for an intrauterine ultrasound to see if there were any cysts or tumors. Also negative. This office has a gynecological radiologist on staff which makes it very convenient all in one office I highly recommend her and BTW thirty years ago In sed one of those celebrity doctors In Manhattan to give birth to my daughter. My choice of Dr Sadaty has nothing to do with celebrity She has good credentials and is a great doctor! read more

Likewise, really don't understand how Dr. Sadaty can have a negative review on this board. I've had two childbirths, she was light-years better than my first experience with another OBGYN. Dr. Sadaty made my childbirth as calm, collected and successful as possible. Listened to and understood my concerns (i.e., unnecessary cesareans, avoiding tearing, gradual/progressive use of pitocin) and ensured my labor was as comfortable as possible. She is not the type of doctor to entertain neuroticism if that is what you're looking for. She's to-the-point, professional yet consistently displays the perfect blend of expertise and sensitivity. I've seen Dr. Sadaty for about 15 years and I really like her. I haven't had any major medical issues, but she's handled my routine care kindly and gently. I think she's smart, capable and considerate. The only reason I'm giving her 4 stars instead of 5 is that it can take a long time to get an appointment and one does have to spend a good bit of time in the waiting room before seeing her, but I expect that's a function of her popularity and the practice's overbooking, it has nothing to do with her as a doctor. read more

Dr Sadaty is a kind warm easy to talk to Type of doctor. She is not intimidating in the least and explains everything in laymans terms. Having a father and growing up with a Dr as family member I have seen all types! She is extremely knowledgable and spends a very long time with the patient which I have to say is wonderful!!!! I am floored by these two other reviews, I came to Dr. Sadaty after my last gyno failed me. She was my Savior!!! I was having chronic yeast infections and BV (mind you even while not sexually active) my old doc just kept treating me with the same thing telling me I am fine with no permanent solution I was up in arms in constant pain (really that's a whole other thing). Sadaty took me by the hand (not literally, although I have cried in front of her and the compassion this doctor has for her patients is unmatched) and diagnosed me, gave me a step by step plan to re- correct my body and even helped me understand that my issue stemmed from outside influences such as my high in sugar diet, stress and my IBS. Everything plays a part in your health, she is NOT a doctor that pushes pills or "quick fixes" she offers real life solutions. She even took me off the pill because she believed it was a leading cause to my infections (due to the hormones) it will be a year off the pill come this new year, I have only had two infections in the past 10 months (a drastic change from TWO A MONTH, aka unless I was under treatment for one I had one horrible) I love her. I even had a cervical cancer scare under her treatment as one of my panels came back irregular she was amazing through the biopsy explained everything to me in detail. I saw Dr Sadaty for the first time today (saw a very calming, relatable asst 2 weeks ago as a way to enter as a patient). I am post menapausal and am interested in BHRT treatment which not every GYN prescribes. Dr S made no reference to/asked no questions about any of my medical information (including having an emergency hysterectomy at age 41). She examined me and gave me negative news without ever ending a sentence with, "but this is to be expected at your age" and/or, " this is treatable" or some such comforting statements. She sat near my head to give me bad news while I lay there with my feet in stirrups in what is, most women will attest, the most vulnerable exposed position possible. I thought she must have to do something more to have me remeining in this position. But no, she was simply insensitive to my experience on all levels. When I expressed fear about a future painful procedure, instead of trying to reassure me, she was sarcastic by saying, "Would you prefer I do it without the numbing needle and simply cut you?" Instead of answering questions so I could make educated decisions, she defensively said, "It's up to you,". She finally said, "You can sit up now" and I realized there was no reason for her to keep me in that exposed position. I felt violated. She left the room and someone came in to take blood. I asked if something had happened to the doctor or if she got bad news. I, as a professional myself, and a decent person I hope, was still trying to understand what had just happened. I told the nurse I am not giving blood and will not be returning. IF this doctor is a capable intellectual, it does NOT compensate for her incredible ignorance as a human being, communicator, and true professional. Maybe those who don't know better are not aware that they are entitled to these traits in a professional. She is an insult to her profession and I am shocked that I was violated emotionally and iinsulted ntellectually by another woman whom you would think would have had the empathy to know better. read more
