After reporting it, I was reprimanded by the business's owner instead of taken seriously -- the owner's behavior was dismissive, narcissistic, and unprofessional from start to finish. The owner then blocked me from attending future sessions without making a single effort to call or email and resolve the issue. The place also severely lacks diversity. One receptionist was warm and respectful, while the other -- the white-passing mixed-race receptionist -- had a clear attitude and greeted everyone except me. The energy there feels cliquish and cult-like. Lost interest in supporting that business after those incidents. Found other more inclusive and warm businesses that aligned with my values who were transparent. If you can't even make yoga a safe place for people who do not look like you why are you still in business?

While the quality of the teachers and classes are great, the practices of their business regarding their memberships and the aggressiveness of their sales team is the opposite of what you would expect from a Yoga company. As a seasonal member who lives in NY but lives in FLL every January and February, I felt an immense amount of pressure to sign a contract for recurring credit card charges, and I started to feel anxiety even walking in the front door each time knowing they were going to pressure me to sign up. I finally caved to avoid having this conversation over and over. When it was time for me to move back to NY and cancel the recurring charges, I was met with an extremely unprofessional email response with (and yes I quote) "I have to laugh at your concerns..." when explaining the reasons above on why I signed a contract I couldn't commit to. Extremely disappointing, honestly disgusted by the lack of compassion from a company that claims to be a safe space.

She will always be there to correct your form to make sure you are doing things right in order to get the most out of your workout.

Upon coming here, I was greeted by Carole, there is literally no one like her! She pushes you and builds your Pilates skills like no other. I was going somewhere before, and I didn't really love it as much as I love it here. The morning classes really help me feel motivated to start my day. I definitely recommend this Pilates place, it's super clean and the staff is super duper friendly. Wow my body needed this class. I had been away from Pilates…read morefor 7 weeks. My shoulders, my neck my hips felt tight. This 6 person class on Tuesday and the class today was a definite winner. Marianna is such a skilled teacher. Her verbal cues, all detailed, encouraging the correct posture, ensuring the class fully understands what part of the body each move will focus on. She dissects each motion so one is aware of how the move should be performed, where one will feel the movement from and the benefit of each movement. It really is a lesson in my own ability. Marianne takes time to review each students position, to make sure it is correct, whilst also ensuring each student is working within their personal bodily parameters, our ability and if she feels you can give more to the exercise , she encourages you to do so - no pressure at all. Marianne is diligent with her teaching to ensure each students posture, position, reach and techniques are correct. She wants you to get the best outcome for you and equips you with the knowledge to reach your Minds goal/ aim. As I progress in each class, I feel such joy when I reflect on where I started with Blaze Pilates and notice the difference I now see and feel in my body. At the end of each class, I felt taller, leaner, stronger, actually mentally sharp. So you see after being away for seven weeks... wow. My body truly needed to get back on board. Here's a Side note For you: If you are looking for a large gym class.... routine-based, no personal feedback, and no guidance on form, then this is not your place. Please just Join a club or a gym!
