Marianna is such a skilled teacher. Her verbal cues, all detailed, encouraging the correct posture, ensuring the class fully understands what part of the body each move will focus on. She dissects each motion so one is aware of how the move should be performed, where one will feel the movement from and the benefit of each movement. It really is a lesson in my own ability. Marianne takes time to review each students position, to make sure it is correct, whilst also ensuring each student is working within their personal bodily parameters, our ability and if she feels you can give more to the exercise , she encourages you to do so - no pressure at all. Marianne is diligent with her teaching to ensure each students posture, position, reach and techniques are correct. She wants you to get the best outcome for you and equips you with the knowledge to reach your Minds goal/ aim. As I progress in each class, I feel such joy when I reflect on where I started with Blaze Pilates and notice the difference I now see and feel in my body. At the end of each class, I felt taller, leaner, stronger, actually mentally sharp. So you see after being away for seven weeks... wow. My body truly needed to get back on board. Here's a Side note For you: If you are looking for a large gym class.... routine-based, no personal feedback, and no guidance on form, then this is not your place. Please just Join a club or a gym! However, if you are serious about your body, your health, you want structure, precision, and highly qualified, passionate Pilates teaching, Blaze Pilates should absolutely be your go-to Pilates studio. The teacher showed up five minutes late and it was just her and I and the class was nothing Out of this world. Then once I was finished the class the owner told me I owed $38 I explained to him I thought it was complementary and he said no that's $38 and then all the children went into the yoga room which was filled with rubber mats where they obviously play all day so I don't feel that it is sanitary and I don't feel that they communicate well to bring in new students and I really don't feel that it's a yoga studio more of a daycare center

They have plenty. Want to relax? They have a spa. Want to try your hand at a variety of workouts? Take your pick. It was due to this last reason I went there. I had found them on ClassPass and saw that they offered Zumba. I hadn't done Zumba for the longest time and was itching to do one. This place provided that and then some. Amira at the front desk showed me around. Much appreciated. Seems all three buildings in this plaza all belong to the same place. Funny how I had passed near this area many times and never noticed this was around. I think it's one of those that you don't find what you don't look for. Shrug. They're open daily, and depending on the day, they close earlier. Such is the case on weekends. The café they have closes at 3 PM. As for the classes themselves, they usually go up to 8 PM or so unless it's the weekend (hence them closing earlier). As of right now, I can only comment on their Zumba class. It was taught by Cristian who started the class late and ended it late. Seems the yoga class from before got held up. At any rate, he made the class pass you by. He also went around, correcting moves, and it seems students generally like him. I found his class a bit intense. It was difficult to keep up. New moves, new routine. Definitely not the Zumba I'm used to. Very fast paced. I burned more calories than I usually would. Super happy with that, but ouch, you definitely feel it the day after. I'd be curious to see the style of their other instructors.

I started with an intro yoga class with Javier (sidebar, LOVE him) and then later found out that they have all sort of classes. Think Pilates, Zumba, etc! ***Unless you're a yoga master, I highly recommend checking out one of Javier's classes. He is passionate about form and won't let you form any bad habits. Perfection.

However, I had a schedule conflict so called in to see if it was possible for me to switch to an earlier class. I spoke with Rose and she gladly was able to accommodate my request. I attended Matthew's 8:00 a.m. group class. Being that this is the beginning of my Pilates journey, Matthew did an incredible job at explaining what we were doing so that I fully understood each move. He was also giving feedback throughout the class and helping each person make adjustments as needed. I felt my muscles engaging and felt so satisfied about completing a solid, challenging workout. I also had the opportunity to speak with the owner of ProPilates, Tonka. She asked poignant questions to understand my fitness and personal goals. She also welcomed me to reach out to her for more information. I left feeling amazing and also appreciated the professionalism of the staff. Rose is so friendly! A couple of things to take into consideration before your first class at this location: - Arrive 10 minutes before. The location is on the second floor of Esplanade. It was kind of hard to find, so I had to call the front desk to make sure I was at the right place. - Wear comfortable gym clothes. A supportive sports bra and preferably leggings are recommended because you will be on the floor a lot. - Hydration!!! This class will have you sweating. As for the studio itself, it was very clean and cute. They have some clothes you can buy if you ever forget something. Lastly, the instructor, Luiza, was incredible. She was extremely friendly and had high energy. She corrected my form a couple of times, which I appreciate because it means she cares for your journey. She was perfect for anybody first starting. She had a nice vibe to her, not mean at all. Hopefully, my review makes someone want to try it out!
