Drivesmart never called me back but finally when I attempted to reach them online, they told me in an email that they were no longer fulfilling lessons for DriversEd. When I contacted DriversEd for a refund via online chat, I was referred to a different dept and asked to call a different number. UPDATE: finally spoke to someone at DriversEd.com who was polite, receptive and sympathetic. Apologized for the runaround and inconvenience and offered to process my refund immediately (after the 1 to 2 week turnaround she said to expect.) so...now still no driving lessons but waiting for refund.

He showed up late and cancelled. But his body language was jumpy..... They held my daughter's certificate because of her permit number that I gave to them 2 times before..... Eddie offered a $20 off if I opted for road test service that was written our contact (the same contract I would have to abide by). The company wouldn't honor the discount stating he doesn't know due to being in the field. The only reason I am giving them any stars is because of instructor Tonie McMurray. He has the demeanor needed for learning teens. Even though I didnt want to spend any money with DriversEd.com for her road test because of their service, Tonie is the only reason why I did anyway. I requested him, he came and handled everything and my daughter passed on her first attempt. If I could rate Tonie as an individual, he would get 5 stars.

I requested a physical workbook due to my eyesight and was told to be at the Duluth office to pick it up on Monday by 4:00 (they are not open on weekends) on the day of the class (1/12/26). I left work early and arrived by 4:00 only to find they were closed. I was told the office manager left early and I had to view the workbook electronically. That was just the first red flag. I realized early in the class that the instructor did not seem to like me by his responses to my answers to some of his questions. I was trying to show that I was present and participating, but he was condescending and he belittled/berated me if he disagreed with my responses. By the last day, he questioned in class if the children that I work with even like me (the classes are recorded). This was personally not a positive experience for me. I would not recommend. Finally, the communication appears to be primarily via text messages, and the beginning of the thread seems to be automated (at least over the weekend) since I asked questions that were never answered and the responses were generic. It asked if wanted to participate in another program, but when I asked what it was, I didn't receive an answer. If you text them with issues during the week, an actual person will respond, it just takes a while.

So glad I chose 1 Act for my driving lessons (wanted a refresher). Thank you Jamaica for making…read morethe lessons a great learning experience. Professional and full 2 hour lessons.

Mix of classroom (which is very entertaining and mixes kids and parents well) and driving instruction. The driving instruction is fantastic - kids will be nervous, have a blast, will learn a ton, gain confidence in a very supportive and safe environment. The parents even loved it. Homer is great. Absolutely caring and obviously lives what her does and loves the kids. If you are looking for a class, I can't think of a better choice. Our younger child will also be doing this in a couple of years for sure.

My son waited a full year to get his license after witnessing a fatal accident ahead of him on Roswell Road while our neighbor was driving. The man hit was on a moped and was instantly killed by the driver in front of them. My son drove with me for almost a year in every condition possible and as an extra precaution, I sent him to The Strong Driving School about 6 months later to get extra confidence behind the wheel in rough road conditions and what to do if they are about to be in an accident. My parents were hit by a drunk driver, my mom was pregnant with me. Luckily, mom was induced and wound up okay, dad had a broken leg. If we all took the skill of driving more seriously, we would not have as many tragedies. My son gets compliments for being a good driver by his peers, often. Invest in your kids. You spend more on your lattes!

Are you not allowed to ask questions about their services to understand what you are paying for? Funny how they want payment up front before even letting you know if they have a contract, if they hold proper insurance, or any idea of what availability they have. I called back and nicely (I mean very nicely) asked why she hung up on me and she said " yes, I hung up on you cause we so busy, we don't need you" - that is verbatim in her broken English. She was horrifically rude and unprofessional. Milner came HIGHLY recommended by a dear friend. I am appalled that someone like this even is able to get a job much less provide customer service. I'm grateful I didn't give her my credit card information.
