We were very disappointed in our pontoon boat rental from this facility. We had a large party and rented two pontoon boats. Only one boat was in relatively good condition. The other boat, while it did function to take us for the day, was in terrible shape and should be put to pasture or remodeled. The boat was not wiped down at all when we got there and all the seams were busted and the foam was rotted to the touch. You could not sit down without covering. We were offered no coverings and had to use all our towels to sit. There was what appeared to be mold on the seats and the flooring had to be swept out. The table was dusty mess. This place does not seem to care about the quality of the boats. We told one of the handlers on the dock and he gave us one towel to wipe the seats with but nothing to cover them. There was no GPS, no fuel gauge (they told us how much gas we used!) no depth finder, no horn (except for a whistle - not sure what that would prevent!). One of the props were bent. We voiced a complaint at the end and the lady was rude and dismissive. I would not recommend using this facility without prior inspection of the boats. We were not able to see the boats as we were from out of town. Plus the distance from Goodland to Keewaydin, Island much farther than if you rented from a Marco Is. marina. Thankfully the day turned out perfect notwithstanding the condition of the pontoon boat! read more

Amazing dock master Don, grounds are expansive and once on the dock the views are breathtaking. Water is deep, docks are newer. We happen to be on a floating dock which is great for Marco/Goodlands changing tides. Great for a few nights or long term. Full service marina makes it convenient to refuel, buy bait, repairs and more. All the staff are welcoming which makes it a fun trip! read more

We rented a boat here when we were stayin in Naples. The staff was friendly and had a lot of helpful advice and pointer. Rates are in my opinion very reasonable and for half the cost of some 4 hour mega "guided" adventure of $400 we had our A boat all to our selves for 8 hours! We saw tons of dolphins (even mom, papa and baby!) If your thinking of renting from these guys stop reading and do it!! read more

Rented a NauticStar center console and Bennington pontoon during the month of March. Both boats were relatively new, spotlessly clean and more than adequately powered. Plus the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Competitive rental fees too. I highly recommend them. read more

This is a nice marina if you are looking for a place to dock short term. Facilities are nice and the place is in a great location, very quiet and beautiful. That said do not have any major work done on your boat here. We have a large sailboat that we hired them to haul and do a new bottom paint job on. The job they did was terrible. I happened to witness their crew only apply 1 coat of paint to our boat we paid for two. (long story but I was waiting for roadside assistance and they didnt see me) They called me the next day to say the boat was ready and to come get it. upon inspection I knew immediately they never added a second coat. (I applied chalk to a spot on the bottom to see if it was covered it was not) When I raised this issue they flately denied it. When I persisted I was told they didnt need to put my boat back in the water. So did I want my boat back or not. Inside of several months the bottom was wearing away. Our previous job lasted several years. Good place to spend the night but move on for any work you need done. read more

I recently purchased a boat their from a fella named Ryan. He was great. Not your average salesman. He didn't try to shove anything down my throat, just gave me a fair price and gave me the impression that even if I didn't buy a boat from him he just wanted me to be happy in whatever boat I bought. I will be refering all my friends to him to buy a boat. I just hope they keep this guy around. Thank Ryan (If you read this) Keep up the good work and if your in the market for a boat. Stop by and give this guy a shot at the very least I think he would point you in the right direction if he can't help you. read more

This place has great facilties and a ramp, but the business practices are terrible. The service department is outright dishonest - just lies through their teeth and gives the bare minimum of service. They also do un-authorized service, then "lose" the part they replace so it cannot be inspected. The rack business is also very customer un-friendly. We went over by one day and they charged us for the whole month, despite us having it in writing that we would not be charged. They only refunded the un-earned money when we threatened in writing to report them to the appropriate authorities. I give 2 stars ONLY because the facilities and some of the employees are nice. Best bet is to go to the public boat ramp or the other marina in Goodland. read more

Rented a boat here. Boat was awesome and ran great! We had a two day rental. It rained the entire 2nd day. We called and asked for a free extra day because if the weather and they said no problem. Staff wad very friendly and they completely took care of us. I will go back again! read more

The facilities at the Marina are generally good and well maintained with the exception of a dockside wifi connection that rarely works and a mosquito problem. The main reason I won't rate the Marina better is due to the management and repair side of the business. I believe that Calusa Marina views sailboats as a nuisance and would rather never repair a boat. Their prices vary from phone call to phone call and they always find a way to add another charge. Workmanship is shoddy. Their relationships with their "subcontractors" is dubious and perhaps borderline criminal. The management is rude and unresponsive. Coordinating a haul out and bottom paint with Calusa made a routine operation excruciating. I would recommend anyone with a bit of flexibility move on. read more

Excellent Sales Man... It is very hard to find a boat dealer these days that cares. Ryan Bradley is amazing period. We did not even buy a boat from him but i though I would tell all of you that if you are looking for a boat new or used you should stop by and see him if you are local. Very knowledgeable and really tries to fit the boat to what you are doing. We now own a very nice Hurricane 2400 thanks to his advice and help we love it. Just wish he had a deck boat that we could have bought. Why not full stars you ask well dry storage is a little more expensive than other marinas in the area. read more

Not Trustworthy!!! I had signed a purchase agreement with them to buy a used/rental boat they had for sale on boatrader.com on a Thursday and pick it up the following Monday which they confirmed via email. I was told that since it was rented through the weekend I could not visually inspect/sea trial or take delivery until Monday. I got a call that someone came in with cash and bought it Friday and my agreement meant nothing!! Then they had the nerve to offer to sell me a new boat but would require a $4000 nonrefundable deposit. I guess in their world contracts only apply if you're the seller!! read more
