I ended up going with his recommendation but he was very offended when I wanted to get a second opinion. Later, when I asked to be aboard my own boat for sea trials I was told that they did not allow it. Had the manager allowed me to be on the boat and had been able to ask questions, I would have much better understood the functioning of my new propeller. Sadly, I had to talk to other owners and the manufacturer as a sorted though questions. Later, when I approached the manager about hauling the boat for a few weeks, he made it very clear that he wasn't interested in doing business with me, even going as far as saying "I just don't like you." From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed by two wonderful hostesses, Bree and Rachel. They were friendly, attentive, and truly went above and beyond to make us feel at home. A special thank you to Kendra, the owner, who took the time to stop by our table, introduce herself, and personally welcome us. She even invited us to their upcoming hoedown and shared information about the live entertainment they host throughout the summer. We let her know we were visiting from out of town, but we will definitely keep Three Belles in mind for future trips. The breakfast and brunch menu was outstanding. I enjoyed the salmon on sourdough toast with home fries and a side of bacon, along with hot coffee. It was absolutely delicious. My cousins ordered bacon and eggs with home fries, sourdough toast, iced coffee, and juice, and they thoroughly enjoyed every bite. We had a couple of small hiccups that were actually our own doing, but the staff handled everything with kindness, professionalism, and genuine care. They truly went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful experience. Chef Tasha even came out to our table to check on us personally, which was such a thoughtful touch. Deep ocean is just a few minutes away with no - no wake zones. The drive to the launch has an interesting castle to look at. The owner has dozens of statues, gargoyles, and perfectly trimmed topiaries. Lots of people kayak from here. Some bring their dogs for a stroll. I've done some fishing and crabbing here. But honestly there are sooooo many mosquitoes and horse flies here and they're relentless! We mostly just use this place to launch our boat- away from the vicious bugs!!

A great place to…read morestart Barn Island in Stonington is one of the best places to launch a boat in Eastern Ct. It has a huge parking lot but since it is so popular it frequently fills up so people park on the side on the road. No one seems to mind but it does make for a long walk back to your vehicle. The ramp is steep but the water usually deep so it's easy for even a relatively large boat to get under way. Once you are in the water you have several great options. If you are in a kayak you can go north up the Wequetequock river, or south out to Stonington, Long Island Sound, Sandy Pt. or Napatree Point. This whole area was absolutely hammered by the 1938 hurricane and a beach in the area used to be called Kitchen Beach because appliances ripped from cottages were found buried in the sand for decades after the hurricane. Fortunately no hurricanes have hit in a while and the area around Barn Island is called Little Narragansett Bay and is usually quite calm. If you want more excitement in your yaking you can paddle out to Napatree Pt and old Fort Mansfield where rocks, old fishing piers and heavy wind and waves can conspire to give you a near death experience if you desire. Pretty good surfing out by Napatree also. For something less exciting you can go over to Watch Hill and get ice cream and some good seafood or just land on a isolated beach on Sandy Point Island. This was actually a part of Napatree but the hurricane literally tore the spit of land away and is now a rolling island. If you go east you can explore the very cool town of Stonington. Barn Island is a great place to launch no matter what your intentions are or abilities are. Just make sure you get there early during the summer weekends or you just might be in for a long walk to get back to your vehicle.

We left Haverstraw marina around 6:00 AM on Saturday 8/6 and arrived to Pilots point about 6.5 hour later. From the moment we got there to the moment we left 2 days later I was nothing but impressed with the dock hands, the dock master and the marina. Beautiful clean bathrooms, BBQ all over the place, nice pool, brand new club house and all around great facility. I want to mention again the dock hands that unlike in other marinas actually know what they are doing! Also they were all very nice and friendly. The marina have deep water so I hat was not an issue as my boat draft 4.2 foot. We got slips right by the fuel dock and there was plenty of space for all 4 boats. The fuel dock is by far the busiest fuel dock I have seen. We will surly be back to Pilots point!

NEVER again, and I would give 0 stars if that was an option. First of all it is marketed as a…read more"party, fishing boat". It was neither a party and no one was catching fish. Start out showing up like any other charter fishing trip. Old man in parking lot yells that there "better not be any alcohol" in the cooler we had. Well, you probably should have told us that when we called & by the way we are 40 years old and had a couple cans of beers in the cooler. Not 21 years old with beer bongs. Anyway, the 3 beers were under all the ice and under our food,pop, waters so we left them and planned on not drinking them. Later at noon we went to get our sandwiches and the staff had sneakily went through the cooler and took them. Really? We didn't care that it was a dry trip, but very pissed someone would go through my belongings without me present. Last, I realize the charter can't necessarily guarantee catching a fish. However, no one was catching and it was advertised as a bass & blue fishing trip and then was changed to a fluke trip when we got on board. Here's a tip: change the name from "party fishing boat" to "sneaky rip off".
