There is only one technician in my whole area so if you need one to come to your home... you are put on a schedule that is 1-2 weeks out. I have had to call them in 2 months more than I had to call on Jesus in all my 44 years of living. The hardware and materials they use are cheap and garbage. My door lock has me locked in my house. The only way to use that door is to go out another door and come in with your key. I would not recommend this service to anyone maybe satan, because this system is a living hell. They have this air tight contact that is 3 years and hard to get out of. I'm going to start recording all my malfunctions and pray I can get an attorney to get me out this contact. So PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE if you know what I know and could see what I'm going through NEVER go with Vivint Smart Homes because they are crooks.

He provided us with a complete site survey prior to the installation as well as photos and was very knowledgeable during the installation. He even provided us photos after the installation. Although we had never worked with Paul and his ream before, there was never a doubt in my mind after calling them that they couldn't get the job done for us. Their rates were very reasonable. We will definitely be reaching out to Paul and his team to manage and install our next project.

Called ADT to set my new wife up on her phone. She has AT&T as a carrier. AT&T is not…read moretext-compatible with ADT... no problem. Wanted to set up Push notifications. The technician said it couldn't be done because we have AT&T. BS. So I said "let's set up email notifications". He said it couldn't be done because we have AT&T. Again, total BS. He was worthless. I asked him to send an email to my wife from his ADT account. He said he sent it. Nothing. He blamed it on AT&T. Worthless. I spent a couple hours figuring it out for myself. Push notifications work perfectly. Email notifications work perfectly. He flat out lied to us. Lied. All he had to say was "I don't know how", but he blamed AT&T for everything. I was getting pretty testy by the end of the phone call. Didn't swear. Didn't yell. But yes, testy. Did it all myself, no thanks to their tech support. I should've written down his name. I'd complain officially.

Had everything been transparently disclosed, I would have made a different decision. After installation, the service and overall experience did not meet the expectations that were presented during the sales process. When I attempted to cancel and offered to return the equipment, I was still informed that I could be responsible for significant charges. As a consumer, I believe companies should clearly explain long-term obligations and cancellation terms before locking customers into agreements. I have since had to escalate this matter through formal consumer complaints due to the lack of a fair resolution. I hope ADT improves its transparency, communication, and customer support practices for future customers.
